Tons of features but easy to use project management system
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp is used to manage ALL projects at our company. We are a marketing strategy/creative design firm and every job we produce for a client is logged/managed in this platform. We also use a time-tracking integration to track hours worked on every project, which feeds into our invoicing system.
Pros
- Managing projects, timelines, deadlines, deliverables
- Storing/sharing files (even large files)
- Time tracking per user, per project
- Allowing collaboration on shared documents
- Automation of project management workflows
- Marking up edits on PDF documents
Cons
- The gmail integration can still be a little wonky, but it's made vast improvements!
- More than 300% reduction in email volume
- Increased efficiency and time savings on projects
- Better records management (with ability to look back on every project to see records, client feedback, etc.)
clickup has made it much easier for our designers to collaborate and/or shift project workload around, enabling one designer to pick up exactly where the other has left off as all notes, file history, etc. is saved in a single location. The same is true for project coordinators, where one team member can easily cover for another during vacations, sickness, etc.
Yes, we currently integrate with our time tracking app, DropBox and gmail. Reducing email volume has allowed us to increase efficiency/productivity.
We chose ClickUp because if offered all of the functionality we needed, it was incredibly easy to use/implement and it had a great price point. Hands down, this is our favorite platform.
