Procore Review
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We use Procore for our companies construction management program and field operations.
Pros
- Submittals - Submittal creation is easy with the Spec tool
- RFI's - Easily link RFI questions to plans and good distribution
- Photos - Easily upload from your smartphone
Cons
- Meeting minutes - seem to be a little repetitive with all of the fillable areas
- Email response - It would be nice to respond via outlook rather than using the procure email.
Procore is more up to date with today's technology. It is easier to use and more user friendly
I have definitely benefited from the ease of collaboration between stakeholders. Procure allows use to get our owner more involved in the jobs as it is easy for the to use and access. It is always right at their fingertips with the cloud-based access. Whether you are in the field of at the office, Procore is always accessible and fast.
- Saved Time - Uploading plans alone has saved me tons of time. The submittals, creating logs and breaking down the spec are also a huge time saver with Procore.
- Removed doubt/miscommunication - with the distribution that Procore has, it removes the doubt that items are not being distributed to subs, it also tracks when everything was sent.
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Track cost impacts from the field
- Streamline financial reporting
We have not started using the financials yet, but will be incorporating soon.

- Third-party Reviews
Procore has all of the features needed in order to successfully manage a construction project. It's user friendly, and easy to learn for all different styles.
I wouldn't change, we are very satisfied with Procore and continue to find new ways to benefit as a company from it.
Procore Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- Getting everyone to buy in was difficult. This industry is primary an older generation, so change is more difficult.
- Integrating financials, has been a challenge and it not complete yet.
