ZoomInfo SalesOS is a modern go-to-market platform for B2B companies. SalesOS helps find buyers based on an Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), advanced company attributes, and accurate contact information in B2B. It is used to identify the next customer using data-driven insights and buying signals that reveal companies that are ready to buy.
we have both platforms and I use them interchangeably. D&B Hoovers is great because I can export more contacts. Zoom info is a bit more strategic with the use of filters like "with intent" and also has a better company overview page. Both are good platforms that can be used …
I feel like the D&B Hoovers company profile information is more accurate, whereas ZoomInfo has somewhat inflated numbers for annual revenues or employee headcount. When I compared the two companies a few years ago, the D&B Hoovers platform subscription was a bit higher annually …
D&B is good at company info and data structure, all records have data (sic codes, industries, sales rev). Some of this data is correct some is not. For example, Sales Revenue for private companies can be extremely off and sometimes not updated for years. Also, Number of …
They are very good for targeting, however they don't provide sufficient account on the company if i were to plan a new client acquisition strategy. LI Sales Nav is also good, I like they way you can navigate a leads connections and include relevant ones from them, contact …
The company information provided by D & B hoovers is extremely in-depth and in detail, the accuracy of the information provided gives a very good idea about the prospective company and helps in making cohorts and evaluation fit. As compared to other companies D & B hoovers is …
While there are several softwares that offer similar options, Hoovers does stand above the others as one of the most accurate softwares I have used. They seem to put a lot of work into keeping their information up to date and accurate. It definitely makes the life of a …
D&B Hoovers is the industry standard. To even apply for government contracts obtaining a DUNS number is required. With D&B's far reach with other products like credit, they have a very large database. Add that to the relationships they have with other service providers and it …
D&B Hoovers and ZoomInfo are two of the products that our company uses for company information. I think that D&B Hoovers has better information on the company as a whole in terms of business description, revenue, hierarchy, etc. However, sometimes ZoomInfo's contact information …
Neither of these options is nearly as robust as D&B Hoovers in terms of the sheer amount of business data they offer when searching and generating lists. However, Crunchbase offers the option to reach out directly to prospects through its platform, which is quite valuable, and …
As our company is just recently trying out ZoomInfo, my understanding of the comparison is abridged; however, I believe ZoomInfo does its homework and truly keeps ahead of the most current updates in the company. In my opinion, it's clear that there is a larger team devoted to Z…
I find [D&B] Hoovers to be the best of the 3 when I need to research large companies with complicated hierarchies. ZoomInfo is less useful for hierarchies, company structures, locations, etc., especially for companies with foreign sites. InsideView is almost as accurate and …
We use InsideView, ZoomInfo, and D&B Hoovers. All of them collect different data sources, and therefore provide different numbers when looking at revenue, employee count, and other account data.
D&B Hoovers was originally used, but ZoomInfo is the king of platforms for customer …
It's just more granular. It's good for very specific company data that other platforms don't have that level of specificity. To that end, I think they're very good at what they do compared to other tools like ZoomInfo.
Compared to ZoomInfo though, you kind of want to see D&B to …
It is cheaper than DiscoverOrg which is great, but we feel like ZoomInfo is a better choice for our company. Winmo has less companies and contacts, but has more custom research and allows us to personalize messages for Account Based Marketing purposes.
We compared ZoomInfo to Hoovers and ultimately went with Hoovers due to the "deal" that our rep worked out in order to get the sale. In hindsight, we spent more time and effort having to identify and cleanse incorrect data than we saved by not going with ZoomInfo who politely …
ZoomInfo SalesOS has a lot more features than Cognism. The US data may be better for US in ZoomInfo SalesOS; but it's hard to say as we use ZoomInfo SalesOS for our AMER based users and Cognism for EMEIA
Well, only seriously considered Cognism. It was a close evaluation, and price played a role, but more than anything was the Intent data. The website functionality was also a big plus for us, but the data quality in the US was comparable. International data was not superior to Co…
ZoomInfo is D&B Hoovers + Mailchimp on steroids and with a much better UI. The data is always up to date and the filters available to the end user are much more rich. Campaign tracking data is much easier to dissect and the templates for email campaigns are more relevant.
Zoominfo is easier and more seamless to use than Hoovers. Time is money. Anywhere you can save time translates into better profitability for an organization!
We chose ZoomInfo because they have a better reputation for having the accurate data and it was highly recommended by our peers. The insights they deliver are very valuable for us to understand which accounts are engaging.

these old outdated products took way too long without the results. I had many times where I had wasted time with contact and only after reaching them did I find out they were the wrong contact all along. This was very frustrating and not a good use of time or resources.
We live in the IT/Telephony space and 6Sense seems to be a bit stronger in their grasp of the Tech stack target companies are using, although their contact data seems a bit less accurate. Lead Forensics has always been a solid "C" to me, not really bad, not really good. …
I find ZoomInfo to be highly accurate with regard to revenue, employee numbers, and hierarchy data. I also like the Scoops feature. I use three databases for company data and refer to all of them several times a day to research customers and prospect companies. I find ZoomInfo …
ZoomInfo stacks up against D&B Hoovers because it is easier to use. The filtering is also better in ZoomInfo and the most important thing which our team appreciates is that the quality of leads being generated here in ZoomInfo is superb and of great quality. It gives us mostly …
We've found that this platform outperforms all others. We've used, evaluated, or otherwise decided to pass on numerous other platforms. All of which seemingly came up short of what ZoomInfo has to offer. The drilldown ability on numerous points has proved invaluable as we …
ZoomInfo has more updated and current data to use. The bounce rate significantly decreased once we moved over to ZoomInfo. The overall quality and depth of data seemed to be a step above the other products.
I like the ability to search and upload in ZoomInfo more than in Hoovers. I have found the ZoomInfo date more accurate than Hoovers. As far as company-specific information I think Hoovers has an advantage in that sense. But if you are searching for contacts ZoomInfo is heads …
We use ZoomInfo because of its ease of use. While D&B provides useful info, ZoomInfo still seems preferred. We also use LinkedIn as a means to cross reference.
ZoomInfo is the best solution when seeking out contact information for a large number of accounts and leads. The user interface is also the best in that they lay out the organizational structure in a way that makes sense for our prospecting needs. Furthermore, the contact …
ZoomInfo is much more comprehensive and easier to use than D&B Hoovers. When I used D&B Hoover's in a previous role, I was constantly dealing with outdated data, which made my role very difficult. The D&B Hoovers setup is similar to that of ZoomInfo, but it is a bit harder to …
The depth of the data vs. Hoovers is similar, but the accuracy seems to be better with ZoomInfo. The biggest win for me with ZoomInfo is access to Scoops.
I may sound like a broken record, but I would definitely rank ZoomInfo as one the best, if not the best, services offered for sales prospecting and marketing. There are definitely other great similar services and most definitely more affordable options, but the combination of …
Lusha is very convenient and easy to use, however it lacks some of the platform capabilities of ZoomInfo. It also does not yet have a working Salesforce integration.
D & B Hoovers provides a greater depth and range of firmographics than ZoomInfo but is more expensive and more …
