Generally, these leads are what we consider "lower value" compared to what SDRs follow up with directly. The Conversica AI Sales Assistant reaches out to these leads that have shown some interest by completing activities on our website and continues to engage them until they are ready for a sales conversation with a human. This helps us with follow up on a high volume of leads where we don't have human resources.,The team at Conversica is top-notch. From the beginning of our purchasing journey to the support that we have received over the last year, the Conversica team is very committed to our success, implements our feedback and requests quickly, and is generally great to work with. Being able to customize the Conversica Sales Assistant in terms of the messaging and even language is a must for us. We sell into many countries and markets globally and like to customize our reach outs based on the content that leads consume so this is very important to us. The Conversica Sales Assistant has done a great job of learning over the year that we have used her. It has been a breeze to customize outreach and responses and tailor what we are looking for when it comes to "hot leads",There are some parts of email templates that are not customizable. This makes it difficult to change sentence structure. There are times when the AI assistant is reaching out to leads at the same time as one of our sales reps. Often this is because the salesperson didn't follow the proper process in turning the assistant off but it happens often enough that I wish the process was simplified.,7,Conversica has increased our MQL:SAL conversion Conversica has helped us build pipeline with leads that would have otherwise gone untouched.,Prior to using Conversica, we tried to have all of our leads followed up with by SDRs and AEs. We weren't able to keep up! More than that, there were some leads that were much earlier in their buying cycle that our reps felt were not ready to be reached out to. With Conversica, we are able to tackle both of these challenges. Leads are delivered to salespeople only when they are ready and our salespeople have more time to be working on revenue-generating activities.,10,10,Our Conversica AI Assistant never stops working, no coffee requiredWe currently use Conversica to stay on top of our outreach efforts to new leads. Our AI assistant handles the quantity that we cannot get to on our own in a direct 1:1 basis. Furthermore, these efforts are focused on scheduling demo calls with new leads before they go cold.,Providing 1:1 email outreach to a large quantity of leads which our organization is unable to do on our own in a timely manner. Confirms specific contact phone numbers while scheduling a call for our sales department. Opens up new conversations with older leads in our database that have gone cold.,The AI software that reads the replies from our leads is not perfect. I need the ability to update and change the lead status when I discover these mistakes for accurate reporting and follow up. The ability to stop a conversation as a manager is only available from one screen. I would love if they could move this to the main dashboard too. In reporting I would like to see the date and time of last message sent, last reply received, and next message scheduled all next to each other. The import to Salesforce campaigns is nice but the upload of new data from conversica to Salesforce (like lead status and phone number) has to be manually done.,8,The follow up is persistant and consistant. We know the exact status of each lead when Conversica is on it. We can get right to work each day on hot leads and those held for review. We can also easily weed out leads that do not qualify for a sales call without any time spent from our sales team. It gets the ball rolling on a conversation and the hand off seems natural and swift.,After using conversica to make initial outreach we have found that the leads are better qualified and we are able to engage with those with the highest level of interest first with minimal effort to complete and confirm our first call.,No more leads slipping through the cracks. Everyone gets contacted soon after they engage with our content. We can now more accurately determine the interest level of all our leads and place them in the proper section of our sales funnel. We are starting more conversation in less time and have closed new business that originated from Conversica outreach.,Using conversica helped us start more conversations and schedule more calls with minimal effort by our sales team. Content download follow up after someone downloads an ebook or white paper from our website.,We've been able to clean up out database and eliminate all unqualified contacts quickly.,In the future we will consider using Conversica for cold outreach prospecting.,9A Dealer's Review of Conversica's AIWe have used Conversica's AI assistant for the past 5 years. I currently use it in all of our dealerships for 2 primary reasons. Reason 1) Vendor Accountability. Because the assistant interacts with all inbound leads, I know exactly which of my vendors are producing great engaging leads and which ones are sending me poor quality leads. This allows me to hold my poor performing vendors accountable and to reallocate advertising funds from poor performers to high performers. Reason 2) Sales Accountability. With Conversica's AI interacting multiple times with every lead, I get a great picture of how well our sales staff is handling leads. I get daily reports of our Hot Leads and instant notifications when we have a "Lead at Risk." If one sales rep is consistently producing Leads at Risk, then I know that sales rep needs extra coaching. It also allows our Sales Managers to immediately step in and work with the client to save any deals that could be at risk.,Identifies leads sources that engage in two-way communication with your sales department. Ensures that your sales staff is not letting leads "slip through the cracks". Allows you to better manage your sales staff based on their usage. Responses are not "canned" - the AI learns and is very lifelike.,None that I can think of at this time.,10,A human cannot realistically do what Conversica does. I need to know how well our online leads are engaging with our dealerships. A human would have to go into every single lead and create reports on how well the lead was handled and whether or not the client responded to our initial attempts to interact. That is too time consuming and mind-numbing!,Our lead engagement rate has drastically increased. Now that I know which sources engage and which ones do not, I can quickly and easily make the decisions necessary to cancel a poor performing vendor and invest more in great performing vendors. Plus, we have a decent amount of leads that will respond to Conversica's AI and not our sales staff. Conversica has helped in re-engaging older sales opportunities that just were not ready at the initial inquiry. In the daily whirlwind of automotive sales, Conversica has helped to ensure clients weren't slipping through the cracks and promoting a friendly customer service experience.,Customer support is top-notch! I have never had a bad experience with their customer support. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. From discussing reporting to helping set up users, quick to respond to your needs. Conversica has a way of engaging with clients and getting a response. Often you find clients won't respond to the "sales person" but will reply to Conversica. Their AI got even smarter recently with smarter responses and timing of their messaging,COnversica has the ability to be personalized with some lead sources, would be nice to integrate even more.,10,Positive,Tremendous benefits. As I mentioned in my previous response, Conversica has done very well in getting a response from clients when we were not able to do so. I think clients feel less pressured and less defensive when working with Conversica, "She" is a friendly customer service agent trying to help.,10,10Automate your communications with Conversica!Conversica is being used primarily by our marketing department to manage different segments of leads. We also use Conversica for our event follow up. It helps us further segment our database in order to determine the best fit scenarios and marketing best practices.,Automation: Once you have the conversations set up, you can pull the leads into a campaign and begin sending right away. User-Friendly: Interface and platform are user-friendly and easy to navigate. Customer Service: We have had so much success because of the customer service and their ability to promptly answer questions and troubleshoot any issues.,Customization: I wish we had a little more flexibility when it came to customizing the conversations. Real World Examples: More examples of how other users are utilizing the interface would be helpful in testing new ways to use the tool.,10,Using Conversica has helped us automate a system that would otherwise take up the time of another employee. With simple messages, we are able to segment our leads and determine if they are a good fit for our organization. If anything it helps our comms stay consistent, that way we aren't missing anyone.,Leads are likely to respond because we have a place to communicate with them. We wanted a way to automate these comms in order to free up time for more in-depth conversations with our lead database. The smart AI is able to very accurately identify if an email response is positive or negative. It is good at moving the prospect through the sales funnel. Conversica's Salesforce dashboard is easy to use.,I have no complaints so far.,9,We have reached out to thousands of potential customers in a very short amount of time. The average time from when a customer raises their hand to an actual meeting being booked has gone down tremendously.,Conversica's AI assistant has created hundreds of new opportunities for our company. This allows sales reps to do less "chasing" and more "selling". Conversica is able to respond to emails very quickly and this created a great customer experience.,10,10,WOW...that is the one word I would choose to describe ConversicaWe use Conversica to engage all of our web form fills and move them from an MQL to an SQL. We also use Conversica to follow-up on all post-event leads, reengaging cold leads, and to start up-sell/cross-sell conversations with current clients. This is a combo effort between Marketing and Sales and is insuring that all off our leads are being contacted. In the past we have had leads fall through the cracks as they get lost in the day-to-day tasks of the sales team. We acquire large lead lists from event attendance and from our referring partners and those numbers are daunting to our small sales staff. Conversica and our assistant filter out the noise and brings a better, more qualified candidate to the table, one that is further along in the funnel and ready to engage in a sales discussion.,First and foremost Conversica never misses a lead. We have had 100% follow-up on all form fills since we launched our assistant. Conversica easily handles large numbers of leads and is never over whelmed. Conversica never quits. Most responses are coming after the 6th or 7th message to them. Conversica identifies Hot Leads right off the bat and then identifies leads to review and leads at risk in an easy to use dashboard.,I really can't think of anything that can be improved. They are constantly working to improve their product and you are involved in that process with each response you receive. There is nothing for me to add I know you want 3 items, but for me, there is nothing to add here.,10,We are fairly new with Conversica, but we have had tremendous success contacting leads that have sat dormant and not worked, we have seen deal flow from these conversations, just at the time I can't give a specific answer. In our first small campaign to cold leads we had a 46% engagement rate, which is phenomenal! The more leads we feed to Conversica the lower our engagement rate drops, but over time it climbs back up as it take 6-7 messages before we see a lot of response.,We have been able to reach thousands of leads that we would never have been able to touch before Conversica. We have a small team and Conversica has helped us seem much much bigger. On top of it all the leads get followed up on in a timely fashion because the reps have seen a higher quality lead come through or at least a more warm lead come through the top of the funnel. We have also been able to use Conversica to drive higher quality leads to our booths at events. (we call her "Miranda") is used by our sales team to be in touch with current YMCA members, former members, and prospective members to share current offers and options at the YMCA. Depending on the customer audience we have different conversations available to help with a buying decision and to ask for customer interest.,Miranda completes 100 percent of the work that we ask her to do. When we upload a file of customers to Conversica, Miranda will contact all of them without exception and work to get a reply of "yes" or "no" one way or another Miranda works 24-7 without vacation and she does not make excuses for getting work done. I am always confident that if the customer file we provided was uploaded properly by our team. Miranda will work that list of customers without fail. Miranda is polite and is definitely not spam. If customers say "no" or request a stop to our offers Miranda immediately stops messaging with a polite reply in respect of the customer's wishes. We can customize our messages and the customer success manager at Conversica is always available to assist us with help and best practices for success.,We like that Conversica listens to their customer and takes suggestions to heart by incorporating our ideas for improvement into their periodic updates to the platform. We welcome the continued work to allow us to be able to do more customization and the ability to speak in the "voice" of our business. We look forward to when Miranda will be available with the spoken word rather than just by typed word.,9,Convesica ensures that the work is ground work and weeding out is getting done. Miranda is 100 percent reliable and she allows my sales team to focus on closing the sale. We don't believe that there is a better choice than the YMCA, but we don't want to bother people who are looking for something else. We prefer to work with people who think that the Y may have the solutions that are going to fit their needs and Miranda helps us to find those very people.,Our lead engagement rate is markedly higher with Conversica. It is hard to say how much higher because with Conversica we are contacting everyone. I know that we were not doing that before we had Miranda. But by a ballpark estimate, we are at least 80% better with lead engagement since Conversica.,Great ROI as sales generated from Conversica easily make it worth the cost of this great resource.,9,Good in the right deployment - but not for everybody.It was deployed as a business development tool to generate leads with both current clients and new prospects. We started with one team with the intent of rolling it out to the entire organization.,Mass Email communication Structured follow up,The AI still needs work to understand specific situations Limited use cases for how to deploy. I believe they are excellent in auto dealerships, but that did not easily translate to our SaaS model,6,Conversica is consistent and easily trackable. You can immediately see effectiveness versus waiting on people, which may have differing levels of lead generation.,We were able to get to a no very quickly, able to generate interest very quickly, and able to turn that over to a person.,The ROI was not there. We invested resources and money in the program but did not see results. That is probably more attributable to our go-to-market strategy than the tool or the support Conversica provides.,8,Salesforce.com, Slack, BetterWorksConversica ReviewConversica is allowing us to engage with multiple business units concurrently while utilizing our live resources solely for substantive conversations rather than for prospecting. Before Conversica, we would receive a large number of "lower priority" leads that our Sales team would procrastinate on and not reach out right away or would fatigue the prospect and miss out on it entirely. With this service now, every lead is addressed, contributing to a wider net being cast for hot lead to be reviewed by a real person. The support for each client seems more personalized with timely communication, keeping the client interested as well.,Conversica helps with bringing and capturing a wider net of clients/leads. The solution is easy to set up and get running quickly. Customer service almost always is great and thoroughly helps us out with any problems we run in to. The AI assistant works wonders! It's like having another employee on the floor at all times.,Adding a feature that allows you to customize the amount of times any grouping of data points will be contacted would be extremely useful. The tool was initially too aggressive and the reporting isn't the most comprehensive, but we utilize our CRM to help with that. Sometimes the AI assistant can misread a response and not answer a customer's response appropriately.,9,The ROI Conversica presents at are a little over-the-top. The ROI conversation is not a one time meeting, even dragging for months at a time. However, once everything is set up and ready to go, the solution helps us reach our objective as much as it can.,Yes, customer engagement is so much easier now. The Sales team always seems to be overloaded with work, so the AI assistant alleviates some of the work like sending personalized emails and continuously monitoring for responses. It also keeps in track of all the leads that are present and supports closing deals, all without making a physical one-on-one call. The ability to freely pick and choose any clients from the list that the AI assistant complies is also huge.,10,9,DriftConversica has been a huge time saverOur organization uses Conversica to 'go after' cold leads or leads that are not interesting at that moment to our sales team. We also use Conversica to follow up with webinar registrants to see if they'd like to schedule a meeting for more information using Chili Piper's integration.,Follow up with leads that we have a hard time getting sales to follow up with. These are usually accounts that are not current targets but have at least a small amount of engagement. Takes the pressure off our SDR team to follow up with voluminous leads so they can focus on accounts that they value. Provide native reporting and tracking in SFDC that makes it easier to manage operations.,There's inflexibility with their conversations. You can not use your own copy completely. Templates are provided that allow you to add things like our value prop to customize messaging. You'll need to use Drive Action campaigns to use Chili Piper meeting links which the AI assistant will only offer once. Training the AI assistant to respond as our reps would has been somewhat difficult.,8,Conversica has paid for itself in only 4 months so in less than 6 months our ROI is 100%. It's easy for us to add leads to existing campaigns from SFDC which means that our time to launch is 3-4 minutes best case. This saves an incredible amount of our teams time so we can focus on other projects.,The change that Conversica has had on our sales and marketing teams is out of this world. Reps are happy that we have an easy way to help them make their end of quarter numbers and in most cases, our AI assistant has gotten the job done.,6,9Great AI functionality, conversation, and support limitationsWe started using Conversica to extend our sales prospecting and recruitment outreach. Our artificial intelligence assistant has been very effective in getting responses that our human counterparts were unable to reach. The language and cordial conversation make the assistant seem completely natural. Conversica has thought of many factors to contribute to her success from the psychology behind the assistant title to the out of office days and optimizing reply times. It has helped us increase our reach of leads that would normally take a human several individual weeks to do, now in only a day. This has helped us focus our sales team's effort on only interested leads instead of sifting through piles of uninterested ones.,Getting interested respondents from a long data list of contact information. Following up to make sure our team spoke with interested parties. Categorizing the responses so that you know how to approach leads in the future.,Customization of conversations is limited, and there aren't a lot of options for warm leads. Conversations are geared more toward cold leads. We're unable to make specific campaign adjustments based on where you generated the leads from. The support team and customer success managers can be slow to respond since they're on the West Coast. Making changes takes an extended amount of time. It does not connect with Zapier, and integration to the CRM costs extra. It only connects with certain CRMs, so it makes it difficult to have real-time updates on leads from one platform to the other.,7,Still evaluating. The platform is pretty expensive per month, so we have only seen a moderate return from recruitment and sales efforts. We deal in mortgages, so the actual closing of a sale or converting a producing employee is a longer lead time and more complicated for qualifying purposes.,For aged leads and mass marketing campaigns where we have had a lot of data and leads to follow up on, and not enough staff to pick up on previous conversations, it has been great. It has saved our sales team countless hours wasted on uninterested leads, and focused on only those who want to speak with us. It allows sales to have more meaningful and engaging conversations with leads rather than constantly emailing or sending drip campaigns with no responses. It definitely adds more motivation to their workdays!,6,8,First impressions and monitored results.We use this platform as a lead generation tool to support the Sales team. Some of the leads we upload are current or former clients, and some are cold leads generated from our internal lead sourcing team.,It helps to initiate conversations that break through the clutter of the prospecting process. Conversica allows our Sales team to spend their time working legitimate leads as opposed to cold leads that might not truly materialize into closed deals. It personalizes what could be a cold lead gen process.,The dashboard can be a bit confusing to navigate. I'd like to be able to change who leads are distributed to mid-campaign. I'd like to have more flexibility in how the conversations are crafted.,8,It helps to bring in legitimate new deals. One closed deal via leads generated from Converisca pays for the yearly fee for the service. If any negative, I feel our sales team (some reps) lean on this as their sole prospecting tool. This has helped to improve our efficiency, ultimately promoting a stronger operational flow.,As noted earlier, it has greatly helped with our efficiency, as well as providing us with a stronger pool of prospects.,10,9,Conversica use it as intendedWas bought for sales to use but then went to marketing. DG is still aligning to the proper use case. We have tried to use it to drive prevent registration but the tools meeting AI was not designed for that. We are currently exploring how to incorporate this into our 2020 GTM strategy.,Holding to the cadence that is forgotten by many reps. Integrates with specific campaign segmentation. Being an extension of your qualification team.,Misses the human element for research and referenceability from event/webinar notes. The responses can seem vague to elicit a response. Be sure to use the tool as intended. As a follow-up solution not to generate interest.,5,We are still working out how to segment a subset of people to use this effectively.,Not at the current moment.,5,8Smart and responsiveWe are currently using Conversica within our sales and marketing departments. We purchased the technology to help assist our sales development team in qualifying and engaging with leads that come in through the website. We have programmed Conversica to be the follow up to unresponsive leads as well as all SMB leads since we don’t have a dedicated SDR for that segment. Conversica makes sure that we follow up with all inquiries in a timely manner and that no leads get left behind.,Lead qualification. Hot lead prioritization. Engaging unresponsive leads. Ensuring SDR follow up.,Can be a bit challenging to setup skills; requires customer success help. Email Opt-out; could automate the process a bit better.,9,Higher MQL to SQL conversion rate. It's a good way to free some times from sales when it comes to schedule meeting or just connect to a lead after they completed a form. It gives a feeling of exclusivity to each lead, in the sense that it looks like they are interacting with a real person and not a random nurturing program.,Assess the interest from a lead for a meeting Triage (hot/warm lead) Queuing,Booking meeting: that would be a neat feature. Sending documents Switching between Marketo/Pardot Nurturing Program and Olivia,7,Sales rely too much on Conversica. The connection with the nurturing program is tricky: warm leads could end up in limbo. Time-consuming to check it.,I don't see the benefit yet since it needs a lot of configuration in order to get proper customer engagement. Also, when dealing with multiple languages, it's hard for Olivia to understand out of the office messages which can make the interaction painfully complex and daunting to deal with. So there is that.,8,7Great Sales Assistant Alternative!We use it to help connect with prospects and current customers from a sales perspective. It allows us to reach out regularly without the added overhead of a sales assistant on staff.,Reaches out to customers regularly - keeps the sales process/convo going. Gets customers/prospects engaged. Helps to clean up our data some, such as identifying the decision-makers, who has left the company, etc.,Reporting is lacking a little and hard to tell the effectiveness of each campaign. I think this is getting fixed, but sometimes when someone responds that you should connect with someone else, it doesn't then reach out and connect with that person. Could use a little help with recognizing some responses. Often we have to provide feedback to make sure the AI answers appropriately.,7,Helped bring in a lot of revenue in 2018, especially around upselling to current customers.,I wouldn't say it's helped a ton with customer engagement or personalization, but it has allowed us to keep the sales team focused on their initiatives and only send HOT leads their way for additional lead gen programs. It rarely ever misunderstands a customer response. The Conversica Dashboard is clear and to the point. The info you want to see in easy to read charts. Notifications: The only people who can say they didn't know what was going on with Leads in Conversica are the people who have the alerts turned off. Conversica notifies the owner at every step and displays the email history right on the Leads page.,The profiles were a mess when they first came out. Administration can be a bit tricky in trying to decide the permissions users need to do what they need to do Being able to split the assignment of Lead ownership within Conversica would be nice. We are using Conversica to follow up with a portion of our incoming, marketing sourced leads. Generally, these leads are what we consider "lower value" compared to what SDRs follow up with directly. The Conversica AI Sales Assistant reaches out to these leads that have shown some interest by completing activities on our website and continues to engage them until they are ready for a sales conversation with a human. This helps us with follow up on a high volume of leads where we don't have human resources.
  • The team at Conversica is top-notch. From the beginning of our purchasing journey to the support that we have received over the last year, the Conversica team is very committed to our success, implements our feedback and requests quickly, and is generally great to work with.
  • Being able to customize the Conversica Sales Assistant in terms of the messaging and even language is a must for us. We sell into many countries and markets globally and like to customize our reach outs based on the content that leads consume so this is very important to us.
  • The Conversica Sales Assistant has done a great job of learning over the year that we have used her. It has been a breeze to customize outreach and responses and tailor what we are looking for when it comes to "hot leads"
  • There are some parts of email templates that are not customizable. This makes it difficult to change sentence structure.
  • There are times when the AI assistant is reaching out to leads at the same time as one of our sales reps. Often this is because the salesperson didn't follow the proper process in turning the assistant off but it happens often enough that I wish the process was simplified.
Conversica has been extremely useful in following up with a large volume of leads for initial reach out and the Sales Assistant is great at the beginning of the sales cycle. The assistant is persistent and will continue to engage leads until they are ready for a human conversation. We are forthcoming about the fact that the Sales Assistant is a bot so if there is a scenario where she doesn't understand a question or is confused by a response, it is easy to explain to leads why. I would be hesitant to use Conversica later in the sales cycle where conversations become more complicated.

We currently use Conversica to stay on top of our outreach efforts to new leads. Our AI assistant handles the quantity that we cannot get to on our own in a direct 1:1 basis. Furthermore, these efforts are focused on scheduling demo calls with new leads before they go cold.
  • Providing 1:1 email outreach to a large quantity of leads which our organization is unable to do on our own in a timely manner.
  • Confirms specific contact phone numbers while scheduling a call for our sales department.
  • Opens up new conversations with older leads in our database that have gone cold.
  • The AI software that reads the replies from our leads is not perfect. I need the ability to update and change the lead status when I discover these mistakes for accurate reporting and follow up.
  • The ability to stop a conversation as a manager is only available from one screen. I would love if they could move this to the main dashboard too.
  • In reporting I would like to see the date and time of last message sent, last reply received, and next message scheduled all next to each other.
  • The import to Salesforce campaigns is nice but the upload of new data from conversica to Salesforce (like lead status and phone number) has to be manually done.
It's perfect for organizations that have large databases and not enough man power to reach out to each lead one at a time. Perfect for confirming phone numbers and setting appointments for sales reps. You have to be careful with the leads that are imported because if your Salesforce campaigns for conversica are not dialed in, then you will contact the wrong person. Clean list equals clean outreach from conversica. This may seem like a no brainier, but sales databases are typically out of date and full of bad data.

We have used Conversica's AI assistant for the past 5 years. I currently use it in all of our dealerships for 2 primary reasons. Reason 1) Vendor Accountability. Because the assistant interacts with all inbound leads, I know exactly which of my vendors are producing great engaging leads and which ones are sending me poor quality leads. This allows me to hold my poor performing vendors accountable and to reallocate advertising funds from poor performers to high performers. Reason 2) Sales Accountability. With Conversica's AI interacting multiple times with every lead, I get a great picture of how well our sales staff is handling leads. I get daily reports of our Hot Leads and instant notifications when we have a "Lead at Risk." If one sales rep is consistently producing Leads at Risk, then I know that sales rep needs extra coaching. It also allows our Sales Managers to immediately step in and work with the client to save any deals that could be at risk.
  • Identifies leads sources that engage in two-way communication with your sales department.
  • Ensures that your sales staff is not letting leads "slip through the cracks".
  • Allows you to better manage your sales staff based on their usage.
  • Responses are not "canned" - the AI learns and is very lifelike.

Conversica is being used at a few dealerships throughout our organization in both sales and service. Conversica has helped in re-engaging older sales opportunities that just were not ready at the initial inquiry. In the daily whirlwind of automotive sales, Conversica has helped to ensure clients weren't slipping through the cracks and promoting a friendly customer service experience.
  • Customer support is top-notch! I have never had a bad experience with their customer support. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. From discussing reporting to helping set up users, quick to respond to your needs.
  • Conversica has a way of engaging with clients and getting a response. Often you find clients won't respond to the "sales person" but will reply to Conversica.
  • Their AI got even smarter recently with smarter responses and timing of their messaging
  • COnversica has the ability to be personalized with some lead sources, would be nice to integrate even more.
Conversica is well suited for a wide range of business needs or models. Conversica works well in a BDC model as well as in-store use for the sales staff.

Conversica is being used primarily by our marketing department to manage different segments of leads. We also use Conversica for our event follow up. It helps us further segment our database in order to determine the best fit scenarios and marketing best practices.
  • Automation: Once you have the conversations set up, you can pull the leads into a campaign and begin sending right away.
  • User-Friendly: Interface and platform are user-friendly and easy to navigate.
  • Customer Service: We have had so much success because of the customer service and their ability to promptly answer questions and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Customization: I wish we had a little more flexibility when it came to customizing the conversations.
  • Real World Examples: More examples of how other users are utilizing the interface would be helpful in testing new ways to use the tool.
Conversica has worked well for us in dealing with leads that don't seem to have a fit or don't need as much of a customized message. It helps us funnel folks who we would like to keep in touch with, but are still determining if they are a fit for our solution.

We are using the Smart assistant for email marketing to close lost opportunities. It is currently being used by just the sales team as we try to get people to book online demos with the team.
  • The automated email marketing makes life much easier for all of the sales reps.
  • The smart AI is able to very accurately identify if an email response is positive or negative. It is good at moving the prospect through the sales funnel.
  • Conversica's Salesforce dashboard is easy to use.
  • I have no complaints so far.
Conversica is really good at reaching out to potential clients that have not requested a demo of our product yet. There are many scenarios where potential customers have requested information about our product but have not actually set up a time to speak to speak to a sales rep. Conversica is very good at constantly reaching out to these individuals until they finally book a time to speak with us.

We use Conversica to engage all of our web form fills and move them from an MQL to an SQL. We also use Conversica to follow-up on all post-event leads, reengaging cold leads, and to start up-sell/cross-sell conversations with current clients. This is a combo effort between Marketing and Sales and is insuring that all off our leads are being contacted. In the past we have had leads fall through the cracks as they get lost in the day-to-day tasks of the sales team. We acquire large lead lists from event attendance and from our referring partners and those numbers are daunting to our small sales staff. Conversica and our assistant filter out the noise and brings a better, more qualified candidate to the table, one that is further along in the funnel and ready to engage in a sales discussion.
  • First and foremost Conversica never misses a lead. We have had 100% follow-up on all form fills since we launched our assistant.
  • Conversica easily handles large numbers of leads and is never over whelmed.
  • Conversica never quits. Most responses are coming after the 6th or 7th message to them.
  • Conversica identifies Hot Leads right off the bat and then identifies leads to review and leads at risk in an easy to use dashboard.
  • I really can't think of anything that can be improved. They are constantly working to improve their product and you are involved in that process with each response you receive.

  • I know you want 3 items, but for me, there is nothing to add here.
Any time you are collecting leads or looking to contact clients without over extending your sales force would be a perfect time for Conversica. More importantly, if you feel you are not getting 100% effort in contacting your leads then this is the tool that you need. We have used it for new lead follow-up, post-event follow-up, up-sell/cross-sell, and reengaging cold leads.

Conversica A.I. (we call her "Miranda") is used by our sales team to be in touch with current YMCA members, former members, and prospective members to share current offers and options at the YMCA. Depending on the customer audience we have different conversations available to help with a buying decision and to ask for customer interest.
  • Miranda completes 100 percent of the work that we ask her to do. When we upload a file of customers to Conversica, Miranda will contact all of them without exception and work to get a reply of "yes" or "no" one way or another
  • Miranda works 24-7 without vacation and she does not make excuses for getting work done. I am always confident that if the customer file we provided was uploaded properly by our team. Miranda will work that list of customers without fail.
  • Miranda is polite and is definitely not spam. If customers say "no" or request a stop to our offers Miranda immediately stops messaging with a polite reply in respect of the customer's wishes.
  • We can customize our messages and the customer success manager at Conversica is always available to assist us with help and best practices for success.
  • We like that Conversica listens to their customer and takes suggestions to heart by incorporating our ideas for improvement into their periodic updates to the platform.
  • We welcome the continued work to allow us to be able to do more customization and the ability to speak in the "voice" of our business.
  • We look forward to when Miranda will be available with the spoken word rather than just by typed word.
Conversica helps my sales team to focus on where they can have success. With Conversica there is no cold calling necessary. We are in touch with those customers who have told us that they want to learn more. With about 8% lead generation we are very pleased to work with that pool of prospects to see if our team can get them to a final choice.

If there are a lot of leads for the tool to manage, the solution works well. It can go through many leads and manage that pipeline very effectively. It does not do well with workflow scenarios outside of initial touchpoint. If you can feed it hundreds or thousands of leads each month, it will work. Otherwise, the ROI is just not there

Conversica is allowing us to engage with multiple business units concurrently while utilizing our live resources solely for substantive conversations rather than for prospecting. Before Conversica, we would receive a large number of "lower priority" leads that our Sales team would procrastinate on and not reach out right away or would fatigue the prospect and miss out on it entirely. With this service now, every lead is addressed, contributing to a wider net being cast for hot lead to be reviewed by a real person. The support for each client seems more personalized with timely communication, keeping the client interested as well.
  • Conversica helps with bringing and capturing a wider net of clients/leads.
  • The solution is easy to set up and get running quickly.
  • Customer service almost always is great and thoroughly helps us out with any problems we run in to.
  • The AI assistant works wonders! It's like having another employee on the floor at all times.
  • Adding a feature that allows you to customize the amount of times any grouping of data points will be contacted would be extremely useful.
  • The tool was initially too aggressive and the reporting isn't the most comprehensive, but we utilize our CRM to help with that.
  • Sometimes the AI assistant can misread a response and not answer a customer's response appropriately.
You can use Conversica anytime you need to follow up on leads. At first, we were a bit skeptical with the service, but once it was in use we didn't look back. Additionally, you can let the product handle outreach for leads and let the Sales team focus on selling. A scenario that isn't so suitable for Conversica is if you want a marketing tool to be integrated with Salesforce.

Our organization uses Conversica to 'go after' cold leads or leads that are not interesting at that moment to our sales team. We also use Conversica to follow up with webinar registrants to see if they'd like to schedule a meeting for more information using Chili Piper's integration.
  • Follow up with leads that we have a hard time getting sales to follow up with. These are usually accounts that are not current targets but have at least a small amount of engagement.
  • Takes the pressure off our SDR team to follow up with voluminous leads so they can focus on accounts that they value.
  • Provide native reporting and tracking in SFDC that makes it easier to manage operations.
  • There's inflexibility with their conversations. You can not use your own copy completely. Templates are provided that allow you to add things like our value prop to customize messaging.
  • You'll need to use Drive Action campaigns to use Chili Piper meeting links which the AI assistant will only offer once.
  • Training the AI assistant to respond as our reps would has been somewhat difficult.
Conversica is great if you don't have an SDR team or if the SDRs that you do have are very busy with hot leads. It's less appropriate for hot lead follow up since prospects at that stage would rather speak directly with a rep. Conversica will go to a certain point but human interaction is needed at the hot lead stage to make sure that the prospect gets what they need when they need it.

We started using Conversica to extend our sales prospecting and recruitment outreach. Our artificial intelligence assistant has been very effective in getting responses that our human counterparts were unable to reach. The language and cordial conversation make the assistant seem completely natural. Conversica has thought of many factors to contribute to her success from the psychology behind the assistant title to the out of office days and optimizing reply times.
It has helped us increase our reach of leads that would normally take a human several individual weeks to do, now in only a day. This has helped us focus our sales team's effort on only interested leads instead of sifting through piles of uninterested ones.
  • Getting interested respondents from a long data list of contact information.
  • Following up to make sure our team spoke with interested parties.
  • Categorizing the responses so that you know how to approach leads in the future.
  • Customization of conversations is limited, and there aren't a lot of options for warm leads. Conversations are geared more toward cold leads. We're unable to make specific campaign adjustments based on where you generated the leads from.
  • The support team and customer success managers can be slow to respond since they're on the West Coast. Making changes takes an extended amount of time.
  • It does not connect with Zapier, and integration to the CRM costs extra. It only connects with certain CRMs, so it makes it difficult to have real-time updates on leads from one platform to the other.
Conversica is great for communicating with a mass audience or a purchased list. It's not as great if there is a specific message you're trying to deliver that doesn't fit within the conversation framework. If your CRM doesn't integrate with Conversica, it makes it more difficult to keep the data quality intact across multiple platforms.

Was bought for sales to use but then went to marketing. DG is still aligning to the proper use case. We have tried to use it to drive prevent registration but the tools meeting AI was not designed for that. We are currently exploring how to incorporate this into our 2020 GTM strategy.

We are currently using Conversica within our sales and marketing departments. We purchased the technology to help assist our sales development team in qualifying and engaging with leads that come in through the website. We have programmed Conversica to be the follow up to unresponsive leads as well as all SMB leads since we don’t have a dedicated SDR for that segment. Conversica makes sure that we follow up with all inquiries in a timely manner and that no leads get left behind.

It is also helpful in following up on unresponsive leads in your database and helping to turn cold leads into new opportunities. With Conversica you can make sure that the leads your marketing team generates are being followed up on in a timely manner and that no leads get left behind.

Conversica is used to allow sales to focus on the later stage of closing a deal. It's a good way to free some times from sales when it comes to schedule meeting or just connect to a lead after they completed a form. It gives a feeling of exclusivity to each lead, in the sense that it looks like they are interacting with a real person and not a random nurturing program.

We use it to help connect with prospects and current customers from a sales perspective. It allows us to reach out regularly without the added overhead of a sales assistant on staff.
  • Reaches out to customers regularly - keeps the sales process/convo going.
  • Gets customers/prospects engaged.
  • Helps to clean up our data some, such as identifying the decision-makers, who has left the company, etc.
  • Reporting is lacking a little and hard to tell the effectiveness of each campaign.
  • I think this is getting fixed, but sometimes when someone responds that you should connect with someone else, it doesn't then reach out and connect with that person.
  • Could use a little help with recognizing some responses. Often we have to provide feedback to make sure the AI answers appropriately.
Conversica works great as a client reach out. I think if there are specific campaigns/goals you would like to accomplish, Conversica is perfect. In regards to prospect reach out, it can be a little more time consuming and harder to get responses.

My experience is that Converisica is well suited for any organization that is trying to get potential buyers interested in making a buying decision. If companies have trouble following up with sales leads, dont have enough business dev staff, or combo of both, Conversica is a great option .

We use Conversica for a few very specific things:
1st, our AI assistant reaches out to all Leads who have downloaded a free trial of our product.
2nd, our AI assistant reaches out to old stale Leads who have recently shown new interest (Web lead visits, Form fill-outs, etc.)
3rd, our AI assistant reaches out on Leads from specific trade shows.
  • The AI is really intuitive. It rarely ever misunderstands a customer response.
  • The Conversica Dashboard is clear and to the point. The info you want to see in easy to read charts.
  • Notifications: The only people who can say they didn't know what was going on with Leads in Conversica are the people who have the alerts turned off. Conversica notifies the owner at every step and displays the email history right on the Leads page.
  • The profiles were a mess when they first came out.
  • Administration can be a bit tricky in trying to decide the permissions users need to do what they need to do
  • Being able to split the assignment of Lead ownership within Conversica would be nice. For example, if a user leaves the company and we need to divide the notifications up among separate people, you can't. It's all or nothing.
Conversica is great for scheduling appointments or reaching out to see if there is interest. We have had many more free trial downloads turn into paying customers since we started using Conversica. We had way too many Leads to follow up on previously. I could see it being very useful for qualifying Leads. I feel that in my specific company it is grossly underutilized.

We use Conversica to reach out to leads that we don't have the resources to follow up on directly. Our AI messages up to 3,000 leads a month and alerts us when there are hot leads or leads at risk. It is primarily used to support the sales team.
  • Follows Up - While some customers get annoyed at multiple emails, the majority seem to like the follow up reminders.
  • Changing Names - if a lead we enter has a different name, Conversica automatically updates it in the system.
  • Ease of Use - the system is very easy to use and navigate.
  • I would like to see a more flexible messaging option.
Conversica is great to assist sales and service teams to make sure that outreach and follow up is happening. It wouldn't be great in a personalized situation.

We use Conversica as a way to follow up with new leads and lost leads and opps. We use it for the Sales/Marketing Department. This helps speed to lead and continuous follow up so sales reps can focus on demos.
