Lucidspark is currently being used in one department at this time. It addresses the problem of brainstorming in real-time within a remote setting. It also eliminates having to take the extra step to digitize what would have been on post-it notes. The data is saved from the exercise and can be applied to drive results straight away.
  • User friendly.
  • Tutorials.
  • Wide variety of tools.
  • Case studies.
  • Certification programs.
  • More demos on usage.
It is great for brainstorming but less appropriate for process mapping.
  • Meeting effectiveness.
  • Increased productivity.
  • Time savings.
Easy to use.
Extremely valuable as we use all apps mentioned; makes it easy to share data.
Fast and easy.
I did not have issues.

From the moment I used Lucid Visual Collaboration, I found it intuitive and very easy to use. I like that it is cloud based and how well it integrates with Google Workspace, Confluence and Microsoft Office. Also, the ability to present the diagrams without having to export is very efficient and helpful.

The ease of use. This saves a lot of time with not having to figure out how to use the Software. This allows brainstorming to flow more smoothly and also decreased the time needed to produce visuals.
It is difficult to say at this stage as it meets our requirements.

It is being used by the integrated marketing and content creation teams. It has helped in mapping out interdependencies between cross-functional teams.
  • Easy for first-time users.
  • Intuitive user interface and features.
  • Easy to share links to non-Lucidchart users (public view).
  • The arrow links connecting multiple objects is a bit difficult to control.
  • Linking dependencies at the right spot of the object is a bit challenging.
  • Text box can be a bit more intuitive.
It is best for first-time users and for public view sharing links.
  • Improved collaboration discussions.
  • Better onboarding experience with new-joiners.
  • Improved visual alignment with cross-functional teams.
I agree that the UI is intuitive especially to first-time or non-tech-savvy users.
It shortened the downtime when it comes to showcasing overall workflows to different teams.
I would recommend Lucidchart to our organization as an official tool for visual presentations, collabs and meetings because: - it has a user-friendly UI - it has intuitive features - it is not overpriced.
Lucidchart has friendlier features when it comes to flowcharts with multiple dependencies.
  • Adding text boxes.
  • Expanding the graphing area.
  • Connecting objects.
The available features and content objects are vast enough to be used in presenting multiple workflows and content streams without cluttering or overwhelming the reader. Hence, even first-time audiences to the material are able to understand and grasp the information clearly without much hand-holding needed.
  • Onboarding material.
  • Collaborative discussion chart.
  • Daily updates.

We use Lucidchart to draw flow charts, organizational charts, mind maps, floor maps, and for those users who do not prefer to use Visio within various departments. Lucidchart helps clear up confusion for those who traditionally used PowerPoint or other products to create charts, maps and flow charts. It improved the workflow and communication.
  • Visually appealing
  • Create more robust graphics
  • Abundance of features
  • Documentation and tool tips
  • Limited features
  • Connector lines cause issues at times
Our project management team isn't very technical and they are responsible for projects that need to enhance processes, and Lucidchart has made it much easier for them over using Visio. It is well suited for those who find Visio difficult to use and the best part is that you can import Visio diagrams in quite easily without any issues. It allows the project management team focus on larger things while spending very less time on creating diagrams.
  • Saved costs
  • Improved time to provide results
  • Improved creativity
It is easy for anyone to use Lucidchart and I highly recommend anyone looking for a versatile product that is cost effective to try it out. They offer a free web trial and that is enough for anyone to see the wonders of this product. It is fully integrated with Office and other tools so it adds benefit to those using the product. Our users required no training to get started as it was very simple for them to figure out how to operate the product without consulting support.
This is one of the incredible features of Lucidchart. A user doesn't have to jump out of their applications to use Lucidchart - you can easily bring it up in apps like Slack and bring up your drawings or create new drawings. You can even share the diagrams and they will be easily visible to those you share it with which is amazing for the workflow as it saves time and increases productivity.
We had a commercial plan with the company. The product is great but their support needs a boost of improvement. We have not used their support on many occasions but the few times we interacted with support, we had to speak to multiple representatives in order to get a proper response from them.
Lucidchart is much better on the collaboration and integration side. Lucidchart allows users to work simultaneously within the same document, and also allows checking who is working on the product, and what they’re doing. Visio does not allow such features and even though users can view the same document simultaneously, they are not able to see real-time changes and edits. Lucidchart also has a cleaner user experience than Visio. Visio is much more advanced in terms of the types of diagram tools that one can use over Lucidchart.

For us cost was a significant factor but more than that was the features especially for users who work remotely and need to collaborate on documents while working in isolation. Lucidchart was far more appealing with the integration and collaboration features over what we used in the office, which was Visio.
We would consider reviewing the support aspect of the product and evaluating other leading competitors but overall we are satisfied with this product for now and will continue using it until the foreseeable future. We would also evaluate the product in terms of usability with actual users so they can assess its performance based on various factors.

Decent Brainstorming Tool

I use the Lucidspark software just in my office to organize my thoughts as well as to brainstorm ways to design my future projects. There is no need to use this software across my department or the whole organization. If there were a need to use this across departments, I could see the collab tool being helpful.
  • Mind mapping.
  • Color coding.
  • Zooming.
  • Not auto-formatting bubbles.
  • Zooming sometimes freezes.
  • No place for pictures.
Lucidspark is best for organizing ideas, brainstorming, group collaboration, and visual representation of ideas. It is not best if you want uniform color matching because this does not happen automatically. It is also not best if you are not working on a desktop computer. It freezes on my phone and tablet.
  • Time-Saving.
  • Note Storage.
  • Organization.
I agree that Lucidspark has a rather intuitive interface. I didn't need a tutorial and could get started right away.
Non-existent, stand-alone resource for my individual workflow.
I don't collaborate with my other team members and this Lucidspark tool. Other team members handle logistics instead of what I do which is project design. If we did collaborate more on project design, the in-real-time collaboration would be a bonus. But right now, it is not a priority for us.
I don't need support for the app, but I don't recall seeing any support features anywhere.

It is free for me, so this is a huge help. I can't get my company to pay for software beyond what we already have, so and hefty fee would've been a deal-breaker for me.
I would pay more attention to the help features and if there are tutorials. I would also try to compare other software because I did not do this with this program. I would also try to find something that would be used for more people on my team. This isn't the best tool for logistics-focused employees.

It is a comprehensive diagram creation platform that any other industry software cannot match. I'm not a designer and don't have any design skills, but when I need to design a diagram for presentations and documents, this is the exact software I use. Even though I'm not a software engineer, I'm doing cyber security stuff, but still, this is the software that I must have for day-to-day work. The main advantage I'm seeing is not like other types of software, like Windows applications. Because Lucidchart is web-based, I can or anyone can use this anywhere. Even mobile. Sometimes I don't need to think and design from scratch; it has a range of built-in templates. I used free and paid both. Even when your are free user, you can take advantage of it.
  • Various templates it already includes
  • This online version we can use from anywhere
  • Simple user-friendly UI
  • Can you please add a feature where Lucidchart can directly integrate with Adobe Photoshop. (I don't know, it is good to have)
I don't know, I can't imagine comparing Lucidchart to other software. I saw that most of the users in our organization seem to integrate it with other business apps such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub, to use and store their data/ diagrams. I know our productions and sales team are using this tool to present their sales and productivity. Our software team uses this to create flowcharts.
  • Good - makes life easier
  • Improves productivity. Can't imagine if we didn't have Lucidchart to design diagrams.
Highly user-friendly interface. Zero knowledge is required to use LucidChart. Excellent for other integrations.
In our organization, we use it with MS Office, MS Teams, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub. This includes the IT team, HR team, Production Team, Development team, Security Team, and Sales team.
I never had to asking help from Lucidchart. But as per other team's comments, I see Lucidchart has good customer service with help of broad range of support. Even they have training materials, blogs, webinars.
Earlier we used MS Visio. But it hard to use. Not like Lucidchart
