Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Quickbooks Desktop is well suited for instances where there is just one person who needs to access the accounting data; however, when there are multiple people in Quickbooks, it would be better to have the QuickBooks Online version (as the access is easier and the learning curve for QuickBooks Online is much less steep than that of Quickbooks Desktop).

It works great for domestic businesses that don't have complicated inventory issues. The only areas where I have seen people struggle are where the business gets very large, or there are mostly international transactions and lots of inventory items needed for production. This causes them to switch to other software solutions.

As our hospitality group continues to grow, it becomes a vital part of the operation to have QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise on our side. I can see a single business environment not being the best fit, but anyone suited for potential growth should consider utilizing this in advance of acquisitions or anticipated growth.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise allows for most of the features that small businesses need, so I would recommend this to many small businesses owners who have some experience running a business. If they're just starting out and haven't run a business/department/or done budgeting at the corporate level, then I would not recommend this option. It will be too overwhelming. 9/10 for having what is needed. I only deducted one star for the clunky-ness that can be cumbersome since it seems that this is the best option when compared with others in the market that only cover book-keeping and accounting options. There is software that includes billing/invoicing/account keeping with other features like contracts/scheduling/email marketing but that can be too much for many small businesses OR it can be more systems than are needed. QuickBooks does what it needs to do for businesses without having to set up your entire business within one system.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is well suited for mid size businesses, especially those with revenues over $1,000,000 and/or 10 employees. Businesses that have many customers to invoice, as well as those with multiple bank accounts and many vendors.

QuickBooks [Desktop Enterprise] is well-suited for a small business with fairly straightforward invoicing and revenue recognition. It's integrated well with our bookkeeper and she's been able to create the categories we need to accurately track our expenses. On the revenue side, as our business grew and became more complicated, we needed to use an additional vendor to accurately predict cashflow, recognize recurring revenue, and track ARR/MRR.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is well suited in any business environment. It would suit businesses of a large size as well as those with smaller needs such as a in-home side business. The software is easy to learn and to use. The web version of the software may be a better choice for very large operations because it adds in the import functionality.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is extremely helpful in streamlining regular accounting tasks such as payables, reconciliations, etc. It is easy to use and suits many industries. However, it is not a perfect platform for financial trading companies because it does not offer user friendly tools to track investments and would require journal entries for that.

Generally speaking, I think QuickBooks is a great tool for companies to manage their vendors, invoices, paying and receiving bills, and month-end close. It is very user-friendly. It is also a nice software to generate financial reports, by departments, by accounts, by classes, etc., which makes budget to actual analysis easier.

For a company that needs a robust accounting system with basic ERP functionality, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is a great choice. Aside from the small caveats I listed earlier, the program does the job for the most part and you can run a warehouse or manufacturing facility quite effectively. Also, the cost here is much less than a more direct ERP solution like Sage 100/X3 or NetSuite/SAP. If you are looking for a system that handles LTL shipments--as most sizable distributors require--this may not be a good fit because some basic functionality is just not there yet, like item weight or dimension. You can't build pallets in the system without this information.

Firstly QuickBooks Enterprise is Desktop version so we don't need any internet and it is easy to manage the data offline. We can easily manage the data class wise too if there are many location of the company. Here we can also share the financials directly through email.

QuickBooks is very flexible and forgiving. If you have solid IT help, have a clear understanding of how to set up meaningful Charts of Accounts and Items, and know what you want OUT of your system, it's fantastic. The flexible-and-forgiving part also makes it easy to mess things up. I highly recommend finding highly qualified, specialized help for setting it up properly. I've seen some brilliant and innovative ways to use it, particularly for Manufacturing and Inventory, and Job Costing for Construction related industries.

Depending on the number of users and the overall size of the company, QuickBooks Pro might be a good alternative. I suggest that users look at the limits for concurrent users and consider that in their decision about which version to buy.

Well suited to invoicing and Customer Management. We are able to invoice and stay in touch about payments.
Well suited to inventory management. Our inventory is key to our business success. QBE allows us to easily watch our levels.
Not well suited to sales commission reporting. This process takes us a long time every month to calculate.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise occupies a bit of an interesting place in the QuickBooks family, with it being built for organizations that are too big for traditional QuickBooks, but that don't want or need to use the cloud functionality that they are using with QuickBooks online. As a result, it seems to make compromises on both ends that makes it an okay, but flawed, software for middle-sized organizations.

The QuickBooks Fixed Asset Manager is a perfect solution for our business line. We are a non-profit organization that does not pay taxes. The Fixed Asset Manager gives us the tracking and information we need to manage our fixed assets and depreciation, without the added cost of unnecessary reporting and tracking applications.

I love the fact that I can access my data anywhere in the world! I can see inventory sales and orders, project future needs and most importantly, I have the data I need to negotiate better deals with our valued suppliers. Our customers are receiving better service more quickly than before, and our response time has improved because we don't have to guess about an in stock position. The Warehouse Manager app needs more functionality, but we're a small organization and I can understand the limits considering the intended users in larger organizations.
