This allows me to optimize labor cost, organize employees, and cover more shifts. The shift swapping has been very helpful for staff to get their shifts covered, which frees up management. I especially like the reporting features and labor volume charts.

Would be nice if it could integrate the other location's schedules for employees that work at multiple locations; this would avoid scheduling conflicts between the two locations.

We use it to generate and post our weekly schedules. Also use it to communicate with staff. You can reach out to multiple staff [members] at once which is great. Staff can also use it to request days off and availability. It also has a great format for printing schedules. It's easy to use and read.

Sorry, but as far as scheduling for restaurants, it is a must have tool. You can have a daily manager log, labor budgeting tool, and web-based scheduling all in one. Not to even mention your GoHire Platform which we use for online hiring processes.

We use HotSchedules to coordinate scheduling for our roughly 40 employees. It allows us to schedule far in advance which allows our staff to manage their schedule constraints (vacation, appointments, etc.) far in advance as well.

HotSchedules is great for companies with basic scheduling needs. For restaurants who need to schedule FOH/BOH or specific areas of the restaurant, it is super easy. For more advanced scheduling, with tracking the number of people on the clock at specific hours, this may be more challenging.
