Game Changing Platform for Tour Business
Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base
We use Quick Base as our CRM, customer support and invoicing. Basically, the entire business process is conducted within Quick Base. That has been the aim over the past 3 years. It has taken our business completely off spreadsheets in the sense of manual creation. We also have completely automated our invoicing process within the last 6 months.
Pros
- Cloud based access gives the ability for all team members to view real time from anywhere.
- Ease of use and replicate-able so that training is easy with full accountability.
- Relationship based flow so entry is kept to a minimum. No more double or triple entry.
- Import feature that allows you to enter hundreds of line items at once rather than one at a time. which is based on internet speeds.
Cons
- Only the platform for typical business usage. Many needed items are not native, meaning you have to use outside resources in order to complete certain automation or added features.
- Ability to make copy of forms from 1 app to the next. I may create a app that functions differently from the other but can use a particular form that works well in another.
Quick Base was already adopted before my tenure began. It wasn't being used to the full capabilities and figured if we were paying for it we might as well use it correctly. I got educated and began utilizing the many features to improve our business process and efficiencies. We had many other off the shelf products that didn't fully meet our needs or had way too many bells and whistles. Quick Base has really pressed our company to be a leader in the industry.

- Existing Relationship with the Vendor
We needed at platform that provide scalabilty and longevity. Someone who will be in the game for the lifetime of our business. Quick Base is that company. They started being an Intuit company, and then later bought by a large firm that has and is investing millions of dollars. This has shown in the past year and the releases each month keep adding to the functionality and overall native structure to the program. Running our entire business on the platform shows the trust we put into Quick Base.
I wouldst change anything. We had a couple other products on the shelf that I tested. One had a longer history but didn't have the opportunity for change, which is what our industry constantly requires.
