Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
We are currently using UltiPro across the whole organization, however, it's mainly used in Human Resources. The business processes it addresses are reporting of data. With the robust standard reports and Business Intelligence feature we are able to extract more data with UltiPro and have more custom reporting abilities. Recruitment has allowed us the ability to move from paper to an electronic solution for searching candidates and hiring them. The file transfers allow us to communicate employee changes to vendors via a streamlined data flow for vendors.
- UltiPro's Business Intelligence feature allows users of the system to run robust reports, analyze the data, and create reports that suite their needs. One of the best features is the ability to email these to multiple individuals in the organziation with ease.
- UltiPro's platform configuration allows users to configure fields on pages that do not currently exist, control the access to already system delivered fields. This is a newer feature that is really cool for system administrators to use and have more flexibility within the system.
- UltiPros' payroll capabilites allow you to import data into payroll without extensive data entry, and the process is simple to follow.
- One of the features that I would like to see improved is the search capability within the employee page. Currently you are not able to search in the new window that pops up - you are only allowed to arrow between employees, which can take more time than a search or drop down list.
- I would like to see the Compensation Management module have the ability to base salary increase on anniversary date. This functionality would make it easier to administer pay.
- I would like the ability as a recruitment administrator to have the ability to see the Hiring Manager view. This is an area that is difficult to help users with when you are not able to have both Hiring Manager and Administrator roles.
We have been able to reduce the amount of paper used by encouraging employees to enter personal, tax, and pay information using the employee self service. In addition, we are currently in the process of online performance reviews and compensation. This will eliminate the need for paper and filing space will be freed up due to these changes.

UltiPro truly delivers a one source solution that allows all employee information to be stored in one place, easy to access, and easy to update. In addition, UltiPro manages upgrades to the software very well, communicates the changes, and hold many training sessions to allow users to know what to expect.
I really love UltiPro and the system offers great functionality for HR/Payroll professionals. I would recommend this system to anyone who is interested in UltiPro.

Yes - We have been through several releases with UltiPro and each one is smooth. UltiPro provides training in advance and notifies us of features/enhancements allowing us to decide if we want to turn them on or not.

Yes - the product is very user friendly and easy to understand. UltiPro does provide many means of training to fit the user. I find all the basic applications of CORE HR/Payroll easy to understand and learn without additional training.

UltiPro offers excellent customer training on their solution. They are always on top of trend and constantly communicate training opportunities to help customers utilize the solution as effectively as possible.
250 - All employees use UltiPro to update their personal information and receive pay information. In addition, Managers/Supervisors use UltiPro for performance management and recruiting. HR uses all aspects of UltiPro.
1 - We have one HRIS Admin that manages the configuration of UltiPro and works with functional areas to provide reports. This person has a very good technical capability and is able to understand the correlation between UltiPro and other software used within the organization. In addition, they must have attention to detail, problem solving, and good communication skills.

Evaluating UltiPro and Competitors
Yes - We replaced Paychex with UltiPro in 2013. Our main reason for doing this was that with Paychex we had data concerns, reporting constraints, and lack of overall functionality. UltiPro offered the all-in-one solution we were looking for and had an extremely comprehensive reporting tool. This enabled us to become better at working with our employee data and ensuring data integrity.

UltiPro was in the beginning phases of really becoming a known HR solution. The sales team represented who Ultimate was and would be as a partner to us. They are very transparent and open with customers and do not try to hide behind sales lingo or pitches. I trust they will always be open with me in discussions so I can make informed decisions.
I would not change anything we did. I am happy with the results and the decision we made. Ultimate is truly a partner to be counted on and I enjoy working with the solution and support team every day.
The team we worked with during our UltiPro implementation was the best! They always were available to help and give us a better understanding of how the system works. The biggest key for me was understanding the business rules and how changes impacted various parts of data fields. I thought this was the best knowledge transfer provided for us to use UltiPro on our own in the future.
Yes - UltiPro offers a projects portal that allows you to see the tasks, deadlines and needs of the implementation. In addition, they offer shortcuts to training on new modules in the Project console.

I think this is just right. There are some pages I would like to use their Platform Configuration on that would enable us to customize better, but overall it is easy to do.
Test - make sure you are thinking about the future considerations when you implement. Allow yourself time to learn and understand how the modules interact with each other.

During a transition from Vacation plans to PTO plans, the support provided was excellent to make sure our balances were correct and our G/L was accurate.
UltiPro provides a very user friendly solution that is easy to navigate. The workflow within the system also allows HR to be in the know what information is being updated and set approvals on the workflow. In addition, the new mobile app allows employees to easily view pay, time off, and edit/update their personal information.

UltiPro is constantly enhancing the product to keep up with technology trends allowing us to adapt our processes to capture data. This allows us to report and create analysis on our people.
UltiPro is always accessible. Very rarely have interruptions to service and they offer a mobile app as well.
