Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

I have been using Webexpenses for the last 3 years within my company to help record and track my business expenses on a monthly basis. It has proven to be very useful for this and my company makes great use of it. There are many options and variables that can be used to exactly specify the expense and categorize it accordingly. Each month my company will review the expenses submitted and pay it out, I receive a friendly notification via Webexpenses to tell me that my expenses have been paid.

  • Saves time having to track expenses.
Lots of functionality and options. Give you fine grained control on logging expenses, tax, categories, upload functionality for invoices and you can assign it to certain members and teams.
The product is so good I have had no problem with it thus far and have not yet had to deal with support. In the last 3+ years of using Webexpenses I never had to result to using their support as the product was always available and usable and I observed no errors at all.
I use it to track all my company expenses easily online from anywhere. No need for actual paper based forms and stuff.
It tracks expenses perfectly.

Using Webexpenses

40 - Cyber Security Consultants - they use it when the travel to client sites and to expense any equipment or subscriptions. Risk Management Consultants - they also use it to track expenses when travelling to clients Opperations Team Management Human Resources
5 - Team managers - they manage the expenses of each team and they review it once the expnese has been submitted to ensure that all fields have been filled out correclty and things were kept in budget. Accounts Department - They review all submitted expenses and attached inovices and then pay out the expenses back to employees.

Its been perfect for the job, does what its meant to do which is track expenses. Been using it for a few years with no problems and the cost for it is reasonable.

The cost for the product lisence should be reasonable and justifiable. If the product does it job and is reasonably priced and doesnt increase its licesne cost to much every year then its worth the purchase as it does the job and save time having to track expesnes manually in a non-central location.
We would consider all other options.
Try each option out if they have a free trial, or seek a demo.

Check the security of each option
Check the pricing/costing model of each option available.
Check if there is a mobile application for each option.

Webexpenses Training

Yes, there was no real need for training. If so the people that had already used it would just give a new employee a 10min walkthrough and its easy enought to use without any proper training.

Webexpenses Support

Not sure what support package we have as I was not involved in the purchase decision.
Never had problems with the product and thus we never had to use their support at all.

Yes - It works well as I have never had an issue using it on my mobile phone via their mobile application. I am able to everything I need via the mobile application. It offers all the functionality that the web application offers and helps me to use my phones camera to take pictures of the invoices so that I can attach it to the expense claim.
