(26-50 of 308)Litmus Review
- When there is organizational bandwidth, does give a comprehensive view of real-time inbox visuals. Issue is the organization only proofs within their eco-system. :/ 2) Quick way to adjust and correct code on the fly and to see real-time results. 3) Easy to insert analytics code into emails according to ESPs.
- Not really Litmus' issue, however adoption is a problem. That's more of an organizational issue, I imagine. However, Creative doesn't like using it. They're not coders and they resist additional steps. 2) Analytics reporting -- 3) Really want to be able to have an accureate report on opens and clicks with all proof of delivery/bot activity removed. No platform seems to be able to deliver this accurately. Not just a Litmus issue.
Litmus Review
- Nice layout easy proof/comments/sharing feature easy code editing
- No auto-save - always forget to press save after every edit bugs if open in more than one tab - shows an old version (very confusing) subject line and pre-header aren't correct in proof mode
Litmus Review
- Email renderings - reliable and accurate renderings that are customizable to the platforms your subscribers use most. 2. Adjusted open tracking - Gives a better idea of how many real opens your email(s) have. 3. Proofing - Allowing feedback tracking and comments in one place, completely organized.
- Put proofing back into all subscription levels of Litmus. Many email teams are small enough already and taking this out for lower level subscriptions just puts more burden and handicaps back on those small teams. Super disappointing when this happened. 2. Name analytics tracking name the same as the email name or at least provide the option to link. It seems like a small thing but when you have to copy and past the name of the email into the name of the analytics for the same email, it's redundant and the time adds up. 3. Email builder is clunky and hard to use for teams who don't have coders employed. This is a huge miss to help teams be more agile and find more value in the platform.
Litmus Review
- Great variety of ESPs and their versions to render emails Strong preview and QA feature which allows to quickly identify bigger issues Up to date content and plenty of tutorials with everything email Best in class
- Expensive for the number of previews it includes UI can be confusing Limited templates
Litmus Enhances the Email Marketing Experience
- The Litmus email preview tool Litmus is crucial as it quickly lets us find out how emails look across all the popular email clients. It's helped us address issues with light and dark mode, as well as spotting broken links and email design flaws.
- Litmus analytics has given us an additional layer of data to assess how our emails are performing. Insights into engagement like whether emails are being read or skimmed and what devices clients use to open our emails, isn't provided by our email automation provider.
- The Litmus integration lets us see how emails will look across desktop and mobile email clients without leaving our email automation tool.
- I'd like to see the analytics tool made more robust and easier to use.
- Litmus should put out more how-to video content. The newsletter is great and offers tons of helpful tips and tricks, but videos are helpful when needing to follow step-by-step instructions.
Huge Fan
- One-stop review
- Providing helpful and interesting content
- Design Library
- WYSIWYG feature

- Retain previous renders rather than charging each time I want to load the same code to view it again
- Provide code from "how-to" developer sessions at Litmus Live. For example, Progress Bar That Tracks
A great product to make sure you don't have broken mails
- Easy to use
- Exhaustive email client list
- Great recommendations
- Really good and practical article about HTML email
- Remove preview limits!
- Do more bootcamp
- Make review group for several email client
Litmus Review
- Litmus provides a full remit of email service providers to show you exactly how your email is going to render on all of them, across mobile, desktop and web applications. Litmus also provides an area to build and test your own code and assess the feasibility of it should you wish to build your emails from scratch. Litmus also provides you with an easy to set-up tracking pixel to analyse your emails to see how your subscribers are reading your email, as well as assessing things like dark vs light mode comparison of your subscribers.
- Litmus could do a better job at onboarding users to their platform. I feel a lot of the features are unusable to me as a first-time user. I feel I would probably use a lot of the features if I was onboarded on how to use them. I also feel that Litmus expects users to be coding emails from scratch, whereas a lot of the time companies use Engineering Team or IT Personnel to code emails on behalf of email designers/email marketers/marketers in general and as a result I feel we should be provided with places to upskill, or provided some forum to troubleshoot your way through.
Litmus Review
- Email client rendering 2. Easy to use platform 3. Engagement reports
- Heat mapping feature, loading times for previews
Litmus Review
- Detailed testing - Suggestions - Test results share option which I can directly share with my clients
Litmus Review
- Litmus does a great job at very quick email previews of many combinations of ESPs 2. Litmus is great at helping us gain insight into the email devices that our users open the emails with 3. Litmus helped us use their premade templates to create our own and break them into modules.
- Litmus could offer cheaper plans for folks who just want to render test. 2. Litmus could offer more hands-on practical coding advice with Litmus Live 3. Litmus template are is a little clunky in how it saves.
Litmus Review
- Allows you to edit HTML with a dynamic preview Helps identify errors in code super fast Allows to preview in all the servers and devices we need
- Bring in some predictive AI for HTML Example images we can use in the code Detection of errors in coding
A great solution that outmatches others - highly recommend
- It allows you to see email previews and rendering across devices on one screen
- It easily integrates with email automations tools that we use, which makes the email testing process run smoother and quicker
- It provides a good amount of detail when any technical issues arise in html codes and provides recommendations for fixes
- The folder structure and being able to locate email tests that I've worked on before can be a tedious process
- Being able to customize what devices you would like to preview an email off of for each individual test can be time consuming
- Some of the analytics tools available like Avg. Open Rate can not always be reflecting accurately depending on the UI set up
Great email testing tool
- It provides previews for different clients without a delay
- It provides details about recommendations to be made to the email
- It would be nice for some more commonly used email clients to be added to the list of previews as some that we work with are not available.
Litmus, a great way to easily test across platforms
- Displaying different platforms for testing
- Easy builder
- Collaboration
- Accessibility
Litmus Review
- Litmus has great UI that's easy to navigate through. 2. It includes a comprehensive email clients to test the email code and QA. 3.
- It includes a comprehensive email clients to test the email code and QA. 3.
- The loading of "Previews & QA" takes too much time.
- As mentioned above, an AI code correction of the HTML issues would be great.
- The "Home" page is always set to "All Emails" instead of "My Emails". It would be great if we default it to "My Emails" instead of all.
Litmus Review
- Quick and easy preview of emails across platforms
- Easy to share results across team Builder mode invaluable in speeding up dev time
- Litmus goes through previews too quickly, doing full sets in builder when you need to focus on just one platform
- Litmus could offer preview for web browsers
- Litmus plug in for Salesforce should be supported on all plans
Litmus Review
- Litmus is solid in terms of email in general. Their tools make it very easy to design and preview emails. I find beneficial the possibility to share and comment on the emails with the stakeholders as this speeds up our processes.
- N/A
Litmus Review
- -Email preview testing (I wouldn't feel comfortable without being able to test my emails in one spot in multiple email clients)
- -Excited to try out the new personalization options as well as countdown timers (I'm really looking forward to these new features. They seem very intuitive and simple to implement into our current emails)
- -Tracking data from specific emails (The information Litmus has provided as far as dark mode and email client usage is really going to help focus our marketing efforts in a specific direction to reach the greatest number of users.)
- -Litmus Live is fantastic!
- -The builder function is great as it allows me to test new lines of code in real-time, but there seem to be a few bugs with The builder. When my team has used it in The past, we have become more frustrated with it.
- -I wonder if it would be possible to adjust The tracking to be specific but also general. At this point, I have had to create individual tracking codes per each individual Email I want to send. When we are sending out a large number each week, this can be cumbersome. So, I wonder if there would be a way to have a generic tracking code that could go in each Email but be specific once we upload The file into Litmus.
- -On tracking, can we get averages for a group of emails instead of just all the emails?
Good for corporate users.
- QA across multiple email clients.
- Send proofs to gather comments.
- Accept emails sent to it.
- The visual builder is glitchy and doesnt save changes sometimes.
- The code editor has low contrast and is uncomfortable to code in
- The control+f sucks and half of the time the result is underneath the control+f overlay
Great for team-wide QA
- Message previews
- Accessibility ratings
- Recommendations
- Sharing a public preview isn't intuitive
- UI is complex
- Link checks aren't always accurate
great
- Reflect code changes
- Test different browsers
- Great tool
- Could make more friendly the testing tool for different browsers but in general great tool
Our email reviews are so much easier now!
