Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

I use it to control times and workloads on projects for clients and also for internal projects from my team.

Also is the tool to control and registry other times not related to proyects like; Internal meetings, self training, and administrative tasks like reading of mails etc.

We extract information directly into dashboards that are comunicated perdically and i also use the Dashboards from Wrike to lead team internal meetings and algo 1 to 1 meetings with my team.

  • Give options to personalize fields and types of data to register
  • Quick and efficient sending of alerts, mentions and tasks
  • Provide multiple predefined and personalized ways to see the data (from raw data, to easy to display dashboards)
  • Automation / conection to other tools (Google Calendar)
  • I think the curve of learning even for just "users" is high.
  • Consultoring in how to use Wrike for the business model of each organization. (Many start using a tool like this just with the basic idea of "Project controlling" and can go much beyond)
  • More than positive or negative. Is precisely the tool we use to control the ROI of the HH of the entire services area of Tigabytes.
  • Some times it feels like "control Tool" when we want it to be seen as a "collaboration tool" ... But i think that is more our fault in management than Wrike's fault
We use all of them. And find some more suited for different tasks. Copper (clients management, and sales oportunities and prospects) Freshdesk (Support tickets platform) Zendesk (we are leaving that tool to Fresh) We tried to reduce tools, but in the case of Projects, non of the mentioned above could do what Wrike does in terms of control, personalization and data provided. Either way, Wrike didn't adjust properly to the processes mentioned above.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

No

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

Excellent for project control but still not fluid or suited in options for "not ending" tasks or functions.

Wrike Implementation

Change management was minimal - There wasnt Change Management area in Tigabytes during that period (i came to create it). And as far as i know, there was no Change Management provided from Wrike for the process, just the licenses delivery.

Using Wrike

20 - PMO, Technical specialists, Change Management specialists, Learning Specialists, Dev Ops
1 - Just one person from my team (Learning) is in charge of onboarding, teaching, and discover new tools from Wrike.

(Her work has been totally selfpaced... It would be nice to have a counterpart from Wrike to her)
  • Project Management
  • Workloads managament
  • Time control (HH vs ROI)
  • The use to manage and make the relation between Training, self training, and projects/time usage.
  • The option (still in progress) to control internal support and training between areas
  • Use more automatized or mirrored with Google Calendar (our main tool for personal and collaborative time management)
Two:

First: Is a tool where we find new options week after week, and new ways to work with.

Two: To many processes and control is managed from Wrike, a migration to other tool it will demand to much time and resources.

Evaluating Wrike and Competitors

Yes - From my part, i only know that we studied the chance to move some processes from Wrike to Freshdesk and/or Copper ... But it didnt succeded.

If my organization has been looking after other tool, i dont know.
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
Integration with other processes, systems and internal protocols.
May be i will put more atention in more integrations with Google Calendar, and some features for "Not ending" processes to be registered and controled from the tool.

Wrike Support

As far as i know we dont use Wrike support because has no "Spanish speaking options" and people who speak english in our teams are to few.

Using Wrike

We got used to it. Learned it and now we use it fluidly and as a benefict (that took a long time, on the beginning teams tried to avoid by any means, the use of the tool)
ProsCons
Like to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Feel confident using
Lots to learn
  • Workloads
  • Timesheets
  • Gantts (dont get me wrong, they are fine, but cannot be properly shared externally so we can only use those Gantts to control external projects. Because we didnt find the way to share those Gantts without leaving the door open for our external client to see internal information we dont want him to see)
  • With a deep use of Wrike, as become more and more difficult to keep simple and perform first onboarding training to our users
Yes - We dont use it officially
