Adobe Sign was initially researched for solving the need to go paperless at a membership office. The three biggest needs of the paperless transition were: Easy to use for members and employees. The ability to fill out documents and electronically sign them. Storage capacity and length of storage. After testing a few other products, Adobe Sign was selected as the software of use. Firstly, It was easy to set up between the use of Google Remote Desktop and a tablet for members to interact with the forms to fill out and sign. Secondly, it stored documents for an indefinite amount of time and documents were easily accessed to be downloaded or emailed. Finally, it was easy to use for both the employees and members. The only downside to this option, was sometimes the speeds to load the forms took a while, and if the Adobe service was down, we wouldn't be able to access the forms.
  • The indefinite storage time for files.
  • The ease of access that forms can be downloaded or emailed.
  • The ability to edit forms and fields from their own administrative backend.
  • The simplicity and functionality for employees and users.
  • The speed at which forms were loaded.
  • More available export options, such as Word or Excel.
  • A backend system that can be loaded if the main service is down.
  • More customer support options.
A scenario where is most well suited, would be a membership, sales, or receptionist environment where forms are consistently filled out, waivers need to be signed, or member/customer information is needed. A scenario where it is less suited would be a customer service or administrative position, where member/customer information isn't needed on a routine basis, and the need for phone calls or emails are prominent.

To send different documents to our clients to sign. It makes it easier for us and customers to review and sign documents especially with COVID restrictions.
  • The emails being sent and options we have regarding those emails.
  • Workflows
  • Easy to follow steps and simple and yet effective web.
  • More Customization (e.g. changing the text and buttons in the emails).
  • When we add a signature box we only ask customers to type an email once, we need to be able to ask them to type it twice and cross-reference them in case there is a typo in the email the first time they type it.
For simple forms and signatures (one signature sent to one person) or an online form on the website for one person to sign is good. Adding more people to sign and complete workflows are need to be handled very well.

It is used to complete contracts and receive back signatures. It is used by me and any employees I have working for me. It makes getting signatures and contracts simple and easy.
  • Once you're logged in, it's super easy to use. I love that documents get instantly emailed to me and to my customers.
  • It works great overall! I know that sounds counter-intuitive from my suggestions, but I have been a huge fan of Adobe Sign. It's been instrumental in building my business.
  • I love the reminder feature.
  • It is sometimes confusing to customers when multiple signatures are needed. I wish it could go simultaneously instead of sequentially, as this sometimes creates confusion.
  • When you are completing fields for signature, if you miss a spot and need to go back , there is no "back" button. You have to start all over again. It's not overly time consuming but if you're sending out a lot of contracts it is a nuisance.
  • This seems very mundane, but since Adobe bought EchoSign, I found it harder to find the "login" button. I have to sometimes Google it and then have saved it as a bookmark on my computer. It keeps trying to sell me other products instead of getting me to my main product, which is very annoying. I do a lot of work on the go, now with COVID I'm working from home with small children, so efficiency is a NECESSITY!
  • I have signed contracts (as a customer) using dotloop and DocuSign and found those platforms sometimes less confusing. I often have to send a tutorial to my customers on how to e-sign.
  • There's no phone number to call with support, I have to create at ticket and wait for a response. More often than not I just Google and find the answer.
Getting back paperwork and contracts. I think it's great for any business personally.

We use Adobe Sign for all HR purposes: PIP signatures, performance documentation, contract signing, agreement signatures, etc. We also have it integrated with our employee file management system so that it can auto-file the documents and it's extremely hard to use. You have to code onto the document for Adobe Sign to detect the signature box. The integration, UI, and administration is terrible, in my opinion.
  • It does allow you to send documents to emails
  • Need to embed signature boxes, not code
  • Better UI--extremely unclear where you are navigating to
  • Mass export functionality--it exports but in a non-consumable form
Overall, it doesn't keep up with the market. DocuSign is, by far, better suited for all scenarios. Adobe Sign uses its heavy marketing and well-known name to get deals, but I don't think the technology lives up to the noise. They need a complete overhaul of their tech and user interface.

We utilize Adobe Sign to handle all of our direct and partner contracts with an integration using Salesforce. Our sales users can close out their opportunity and quickly send the contract for signing all with one click. Our Legal and HR departments use the Adobe Sign Portal to send out eSignature requests for a wide range of back-office tasks such as new hire onboarding, executive sign-offs, board of director signatures, and GDPR compliances for our international customers.
  • Easy-to-use! Customer's don't need accounts or to register to sign a document.
  • Salesforce Integration! The Salesforce plugin is a huge win for our company. It allows our SF admins to control the settings and easily apply templates and settings so our users can send for eSignature with one click.
  • Multi-Channel branding (allowing for a single org to have multiple customized URLs and brandings)
  • Scan verification (if a customer decides to print and sign, it should include a barcode so that the sender can scan back in and the system recognize which signatures was done manually and appends that document to the event and then proceeds forward with automation steps)
We found Adobe to be the preferred eSignature vendor when looking to support a Salesforce Integration for our sales to send quick contract requests to customers. It was an easy setup in less than 3 weeks with over 6 templates, including multiple languages (American, French, Chinese, and Japanese). Their pricing structure was best fit for us as it was based off # of contracts being signed annually vs. # of users we had using the tool (unlike some other larger vendors in the market space that charge based [on] licensed users)

As a B2B company that is heavily reliant on applications to move forward in our sales processes, Adobe Sign has been very valuable to us with its flexibility and options for creating different types of documents. We use integration with our CRM system which allows us to send applications directly to customers, a web form that allows website visitors to fill out an application before making contact with us, and we love the ability to create rules and workflows. Our only complaint at this juncture is some minor limitations with the web forms, but overall Adobe Sign enables us to be extremely productive with a small team.
  • Flexibility in the way we create and deploy different types of forms
  • Customer service
  • Value
  • Security
  • The ability to allow two different people to sign a published web form
  • Customized solutions
Adobe Sign has been nothing short of awesome in a crucial area for us. We are very reliant on sending/receiving applications from our customers and their solution gives us great flexibility. We created several different web forms which we posted on our website and in email templates, making it extremely easy and user-friendly to send out applications in bulk. Moreover, we are able to send out pre-filled applications directly from our CRM system using the Adobe Sign API.

I use Adobe Sign to exchange documents that need signing with contractors, employees, colleagues, and the public in general. The scope and range of use vary from the signing of service contracts to signing payment vouchers. Without Adobe Sign, I would have either (1) sit around waiting for the postal service to deliver wet signed documents, (2) drive around for signatures, or (3) have others do the driving to bring me the documents. Adobe Sign has evidenced the amount of wasted time and money of just two years ago.
  • Features
  • Integration with other adobe products
  • Learning curve
  • Ease of use

  • Customer Support
  • Cost for smaller companies
Adobe Sign is well suited for larger companies or organizations with large volume of partner/ clients that require collection of signatures.

We are using Adobo Sign to send legal contracts to our customers, compliance letters, commission plans, and other legal documents to our internal employees to sign. We need e-Signature software that does bulk sending, tracks sign history, runs a status report. Our company is using NetSuite as ERP software. We need to e-signature software to be built in NetSuite. That way, we feed our ERP data, like employees and customers, into Adobe Sign.
  • It has nice Adobe Sign for NetSuite app, which is integrated well with NetSuite.
  • We can run status report inside NetSuite, with this app.
  • For Adobe Sign for the NetSuite app, it would be nice to add bulking sending feature.
If you need eSignature software integrated well with NetSuite, Adobe Sign is the product to go. It has the capability for you to customize the product inside NetSuite. You can use a script to do bulk creation on agreements. You can run a report and set reminders. The agreement can be integrated into employee records. If you need to track employee agreement history, you can view the data from the employee record itself.

I have used Adobe Sign for the past few years and it's a simple to use program for signing documents. Adobe Sign allows users to create a digital signature or use a signature template from Adobe directly. This eliminates the need to sign paper copies and then have to scan and convert them over to PDF. A lot of our vendors use this program when validating signatures for different project kick-offs or agreements. Overall, simple and easy to use.
  • Makes easy to use software
  • Saves Time
  • Saves Money
Best suited for signatures for important documents to save time and effort from scanning and then convert over to PDF. Well suited for business settings where agreements are needed or multiple signatures are needed from team members.

Adobe Sign makes it easy to sign school documents and provides my parents with an easy way to return permission slips. I really want all the tools that come with it. It was a really powerful piece of software built into a web browser so there is no extra download or required installation.
  • Signs documents.
  • Request signatures.
  • Edit PDFs.
  • More free features.
  • More control in editing.
  • More streamlined text tools.
Yes as a teacher and use it to sign documents and other forms. I would recommend to my teachers that come out with a lot of IEP documents. It makes the process of signing and exporting the signed documents to upload to EDplan. This lets a teacher sign and turns in a document in minutes.

I have used Adobe Sign in the remote portion of the learning in the last academic year. This was used consistently as the academic year went on, and it was extremely useful for paperwork since the school was fully remote. We all used this app consistently through the school year, and it was very useful; and I still use it for sending signed paperwork to my supervisor and parents of the students if need be.
  • Adobe Sign is the premier app for signing documents
  • Adobe Sign is the one app that I have used for the last five years because it does so well in functionality
  • Adobe Sign is a great app; however, in my opinion, the box where you sign needs to be bigger
  • The app does sometimes lag in its functionality
Adobe Sign is perfectly suited for the pandemic world that we all find ourselves in. [...] It is quite amazing how technology has advanced and made it easier for us to communicate with each other and sign important documents that we were not able to do so even ten years ago.

  • Signature flow.
  • Detecting automatic fields.
Adobe Sign is a great tool to use in a business setting because it provides a very easy-to-use user experience for the teams that need to send out contracts and order forms. It doesn't take a lot of time to learn how to use it, so the onboarding experience doesn't hinder folks from being productive and sending out order forms.

I work in the Sales Department of an IT Service Provider Company, we use Adobe Sign to improve efficiency to get signed documents and contracts from customers. We save time, avoid using printers/papers and have an updated status of signatures at all times. Also, the customer keeps an electronically signed copy of the document instead of printing two original versions.
  • Is easily integrated into Microsoft Office 365 productivity apps.
  • Is very intuitive to use by senders and recipients.
  • Document signature can be done very quick without downloading any app.
  • Could have a seamless integration between Salesforce and Adobe Sign to automatically generate Order documents, request signatures, and upload signed documents.
  • When you send the document to sign to the recipient, the customer could be also notified by WhatsApp, telegram, or SMS automatically.
  • In the future, the recipient could sign the documents faster by just making gestures on mobile devices or smartwatches.
Adobe Sign is well suited for professionals from sales, human resources, purchase, etc. to quickly get signed documents and avoid printing, physical assets, etc. Also appropriate for customers who use Microsoft Productivity and Collaboration apps. Is less appropriate for scenarios where the recipients require to make some proofing, highlighting, commenting, or document revision with suggestions.

Our company is using Adobe Sign in a couple of important ways. One way is quickly sending Offer Letters over to candidates when we are hiring. It is very easy with any document needing a signature to get this signed. We are grateful to have found Adobe Sign and it has made everything at our company a lot easier when we are handling documents and needing signatures.
  • Adobe Sign is great for any documents you are needing signed quickly.
  • If there is a document you are needing to be signed by 1 person or even 2, etc. it is very simple to choose the name/email and select the signature blank on your document and each person can easily sign.
  • Adobe Sign is very fast, once one person signs the document it immediately sends it to the next person to sign and the creator of the document.
  • So far, we have really liked Adobe Sign and have not had any issues or found things we don't like.
  • It makes it easy to toggle between the different people you are needing to sign the document so no changes are needed there.
I think Adobe Sign has been extremely important and comes in handy in many scenarios. It is well suited for any document you are needing your signature on or need someone else to sign. It will quickly be emailed to them and then back to you after it has been signed. You can also add additional blanks for names, dates, signatures, etc.

I have used Adobe Sign several times over the past couple of years. In my current role, I have many documents to sign electronically. I also have to send documents for my direct reports to sign. I was not involved in the decision-making portion of selecting the product, but I will say that it has been very useful.
  • Really intuitive interface.
  • Signing electronic documents is really quick and easy with Adobe Sign.
  • The real signature option is really nice.
  • I wish this program had the ability to integrate with Microsoft or Google suites.
  • It'd be awesome if this could be used without signing in.
  • I'd love to be able to just google Adobe sign & sign docs right on my phone.
Adobe Sign is a very good tool when employers have to collect a large number of signatures in a short amount of time. I lead a group of over one hundred employees, and sometimes I have to issue very time-specific compliance documents. Adobe Sign allows me to get this done in a very efficient manner.

We use Adobe Sign to send out our offer letters and get electronic signatures from those we're making offers to. It gives us a streamlined way in which to send offers, especially in this virtual world we're living in. We can customize, have different approvals, and really choose to make it our own which I enjoy.
  • Speed - very easy and streamlined to create basic offers.
  • Customization - a lot of different ways you can customize the user experience.
  • General UI and dashboards.
  • User Interface for those creating offers.
  • Ease of use for backing out of creating an offer.
  • We've run into some bugs early on with customer templates.
Adobe Sign has been the 3rd or so platform that we've tried out on the digital signing front and has been the best by far. Its ease of use is pretty seamless and even new recruiters into our organization that start sending offer letters have picked it up relatively quickly. We use Adobe Sign for all offer letters that are sent out and will have used it about 4,500 times this year. We've experienced very few issues, outside of some occasionally wonky UI, the platform does everything we ask of it with a lot of customizable options.

We use Adobe Sign for contracts and other important documents to be signed. The problem Adobe Sign resolves is not having to wait for clients to scan in and return documents and instead receive documents back quickly.
  • Tracking when the document was opened and signed.
  • Reminder feature.
  • Admin User account. I would like my staff to be able to login with my user to be able to send out the documents when I am not able to. I don't want to share my login creditials with them, so them having a user account tied to mine would be amazing.
  • Being able to modify the signing package after it has been sent and remove or add on document versus having to cancel and start the signing package all over again.
When our office needs to obtain multiple signatures on one document it keeps everything very organized and in one place.

Adobe Sign is used across my company for our internal processes involving any approval processes ([for example,] purchase orders, vendor contracts, [etc.]), as well as for contracts we send out to our customers. Personally, I also use it to fill out PDF forms that are not editable; importing them into Adobe Sign and inserting form fields makes it easier than having to write in, scan, and send.
  • The interface is easy to use and very intuitive.
  • Templates make my workflow very simple.
  • The automated reminders are great!
  • I wish there was a way to notify future recipients of a document that it is headed their way when [there] are multiple signers. It would allow them to reach out to previous signers in case of a delay.
  • Going back to edit my initial note once I am already editing a document to be sent out causes me to lose changes. This should be addressed.
This product is well suited to complex approval processes with multiple signees. I also find it helpful in cases where an editable PDF is not available - importing it into [Adobe] Sign allows me to make the form fields editable and is a huge timesaver.

Adobe Sign is used in recruiting for all new hire paperwork and some pre-hire forms. Houston is our headquarters and it is used for these same functions in our other offices.
  • Adobe Sign is user-friendly.
  • The pricing is good.
  • Help is always there when needed.
  • With the classic experience - you could always see the names of the [people] a file/packet was sent to. With the new experience, you cannot. I find it helpful to be able to see the names throughout the process.
Great when you need [a] document signed - quick and easy, especially as we move into a more 'work from home' workplace. We use Adobe Sign for as many documents as possible.

[Adobe Sign] is being used by the whole organization. Especially during the pandemic, when hard copy records were hard to access and people were offsite, Adobe Sign was a great tool that came in handy for signatures, approvals, and even training records. Since our training system transitioned to 100% manual, Adobe Sign made it more convenient to deal with all the training we had to process.
  • [I like that it has] many text box options like signature, name, date, initials, check box, etc.
  • You can send reminders to people to sign.
  • [There are] different types of notices.
  • User interface
  • Emails not being sent
  • Records not appearing in "waiting for me to sign" for many people
  • Sending 1 template to many people at the same time for them to sign individually
Adobe Sign is great for legal records and tracking signatures that need audit trails and signature history. It's not suited for sending out records to hundreds of people [regularly].

Adobe Sign is used across the organization primarily for digitally signing various kinds of contracts, documents, SOWs, offer letters, etc. It saves a lot of money as there is no need to print out and scan the documents and also in terms of the manhours it saves. Now, it only takes a click to sign the documents. One can simply edit and fill the document or form from any device and sign using the signature image or type name in various fonts or actually draw the signature. It has made sending the documents for signatures hassle-free. One can also track the progress in terms of when and how many times it was accessed, when was it signed, and also sends auto-reminders in case the document is pending to be signed. This has been a boon in the post-COVID-19 era as everyone is working remotely and [would] hamper the business processes if documents could not be signed digitally from any device with complete security.
  • It has the ability to share the same document [with] multiple people and assigns a different color to each signature placeholder for different recipients in order to avoid confusion and errors.
  • It also allows people in India to sign the documents using their UID number, which is [a] very unique and forward-looking feature.
  • [It provides the] ability to sign scanned documents [that] have not been digitally created. Also, one can sign word documents using Adobe Sign.
  • [It also provides the] ability to use your own organization branding wherever possible in order to personalize the entire signing experience.
  • [In my opinion, the] pricing structure is a bit bizarre and almost all the plans require [an] annual commitment, which [I believe] shouldn't be the case.
  • [In my experience,] customer support is slow in responding to the issues and not of much help. So [I think the] troubleshooting and self-help videos and content need to be more comprehensive.
  • [In my experience, the] integrations with other software [are] limited, which restricts the workflow automation.
Adobe Sign has been generally more suited to either larger multi-national organizations or organizations spread across geographies. But, with the advent of Covid-19, where working remotely has been the new norm across the globe, Adobe Sign is imperative for every organization irrespective of size. Physical signatures are not feasible as a lot of employees might not have printers at home and no one wants to step out of the home. So unless money is not a concern, as the license fee is a bit expensive, I believe Adobe Sign is a necessary addition to the software suite of every organization.

  • [It] helps you remind those who haven’t signed.
  • [It helps] file signed documents.
  • [It] allows you to upload copies that were signed via pen.
  • [I would like the ability to] send the same document to different signers all at once.
  • [I would like the ability to] make it simple for the signer to understand what is optional to sign and what is mandatory.
  • [I would like the option of being able to add] personalization of the request for [a] signature email with [the] company logo.
It’s great for those who are competent using a phone or computer, especially when fast signing is needed. Many clients refuse to use it. Maybe they don’t understand how to use it or don’t trust e-signatures.
