I do not want to speak ill of other tools. I think that each one works well. Now, the one that adapts to our demands as a company is Facebook for Business, because we know how to manage the tool, we trust it and it is backed by a company that has achieved great results.

Hootsuite does allow you to manage posts and some ad functions for Facebook. However, Facebook for Business provides the most functionality and more resources when it comes to creating and managing ads. Facebook for Business was already in use at my organization when I started and it has continued to meet our needs.

Facebook for Business was the one and only marketing platform we looked at because the majority of our clients use Facebook exclusively and want to reach that audience and the area we are in is largely Facebook oriented. Because of this we have not done a lot of research or looked into other platforms.

Our choice to use Facebook for Business over other ad services mostly boils down to the integrated user information FB provides. We simply couldn't have this level of intelligence about demographics and their behaviors if we chose any other ad platform. In this respect, FB for Business far outstrips any competition we've been able to find.

LinkedIn and Facebook, even though are both social media companies, have slightly different audiences. LinkedIn is more professional, and is more suited for clients that are more working in terms of B2B or looking to target those who work in specific industries. We use this more for our business or executive related events, such as events related to Fintech.

I've found 3rd party tools to be much more effective in terms of reporting and post scheduling than Facebook itself. Facebook is so huge that there are many bugs to work out and never enough time. A buffer is a tool that has perfected post schedule in an efficient way. Likewise, SEMRush and Moz report on social analytics in a more robust way than Facebook.

Facebook for business stacks up against them because it has the furthest reaching arms that include people from every walk of life, and every generation of people. It has the ability to gain the most attraction the fastest. The capabilities of the data analytics is truly remarkable. And the varying options for pricing on publishing ads can be customized to work virtually any budget. Also, it has the most extensive training videos that make it easy to learn how to use the site to the fullest capabilities.

  • Facebook
Facebook for Business creates a platform where you can have more control and access to customer insight data as well as your content, especially when you have multiple platforms. If using Facebook (not Facebook for Business), you will have to access individual fan pages just to see all the things you need (ex: login into each account to see customer demographics; while in Facebook for Business, you can view all of that in just 1 or 2 clicks).

Facebook for Business is a much better platform than Twitter Ads as I feel I can edit the campaigns easier in Facebook for Business. Facebook for Business also seems to have a better ROI than Twitter Ads for what I have used it for.

Facebook for Business is one of the only and certainly one of the very best platforms to manage a very powerful part of your businesses online footprint. There are not many other platforms that I or my agency have used that works, as well as Facebook for Business, does. Other platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn etc, have specific and different audiences and can be a little more confusing to use for first timers.

We use LinkedIn as well and though it is fantastic it's a little harder to use and only gears toward people who have businesses. Our products are for everyone so Facebook is a great way communicate with a wider group of people. Facebook is also easier to use when boosting and creating an ad.

Facebook is one of the top social media networks and is a staple for any business' social media arsenal. It's especially important for B2C companies because you can really reach and connect with your customers, but it's still important for B2B businesses.

Facebook is one of the BEST platforms there is. I also use Instagram but it doesn't do all the things Facebook does but now you can integrate your ads with Instagram as well which is a nice tool. Facebook is the leader in this type of platform and I trust the integrity and evolution of the company. They are innovative, competitive and they provide a solid platform to engage and interact with a global audience. I also use Pinterest for business but I find it a bit complicated and overly difficult to figure out. So I stick with what I know.

Facebook for Business is the online software or app that was made for Facebook by Facebook. The other services I mentioned above are not quite competitors but are tools that are built to help the end user accomplish similar tasks using Facebook Pages and Facebook Ads. I find that Facebook for Business allows you to get what you need done with out the distraction of your personal Facebook Account.

Facebook provides more detailed targeting and more options when it comes to campaign objectives. Also, the cost per result on Facebook for Business is lower than other competitors. This is probably because of the more detailed targeting and because Facebook is the most popular social network. All in all, Facebook is the most complete advertising platform in my opinion.

They're two different beasts. Pinterest is good for people sharing pictures to each other allowing interested parties to buy our products right from the pictures themselves. Facebook for Business allows us to have an actual storefront right on Facebook which give us and the public more options for exposure, feedback, and socializing.

Google AdWords is much more stream-lined and user-friendly. LinkedIn Marketing Solutions is better for B2B account targeting. Twitter Ads is not effective at all.
