I feel like my experience is not big enough to compare clearly with another product in terms of architecture. For me the best thing about TIBCO businessWorks is that it's really a "designer" and the way to develop feels really natural for me. I feel like other products might not have that level of "design".

BusinessWork: simple impressions
TIBCO MDM helped us on master data managing, making it easier to manage tons of data flows with rules at a database level, instead of having a back-end applications to stick with triggers, procedures and so on. BusinessWorks it's great to evaluate and manipulate data between systems, but after those have been canalized into it and sent somewhere in the database, MDM takes the crown. Each of these software work perfectly on a particular task, which is why we selected them for our projects.

Tibco BusinessWorks: a great user friendly integration tool!
I used Oracle SOA Suite tools because a customer was just using it and I experienced some differences regarding data manipulation and mapping. I needed to write Java code for developing some complex mapping. In Tibco BusinessWorks it would not be necessary.

TIBCO BW is easy to install, develop, and deploy. Generally, we are capable of demonstrating things faster compared to other solutions.

TIBCO tool is good for middle and big companies
Comparing TIBCO with Visual Studio environment, VS is easier, very cheap, no need of servers with lot of resources to run simple interfaces, a lot of documentation, very cheap training. Nice handling of errors.
TIBCO BW wins though in load balancing, multi-threaded applications, and using queues to process messages.

The case for BusinessWorks
- webmethods, enterprise link and WSO2 Carbon
Each product has its unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. BW is not necessarily better than everything else. There are places where it shines, places where it competes well, and places where it loses out to other products.
In our case, BW was not selected to after competing against other products. In fact we still have other products running on site performing similar functions.
BW was selected to be our standard way forward due to its capability, extendibility with adapters, relative ease of use, support offering and cost.

TIBCO provides easy-to-learn and maintainable product. IT data transformation support is quite strong, which gives it an edge. You also have the option to connect to other TIBCO products like ActiveSpaces and BusinessEvents, which massively enhance performance compared to other products.

Good Job Tibco BW
The Business Need is to use many customizable technologies to take full advantage of the product, so this business logic lends itself well to using BusinessWorks thanks to its flexibility and customization.
Integration is maximized by leveraging all the components of the product.
PBM ActiveMatrix does not lend itself well to the project, so it is not used in this area

TIBCO BusinessWorks Review
TIBCO's automation, data analysis and business development products are easy to integrate with each other thanks to the features made available to make it work without the need to make configuration changes or install special libraries outside of the product itself.
An example is the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks product that interfaces with the following products: TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM.
