Personally I have been using and working on Adobe Campaign from last 5 years and it's the best tool in the market it terms of its ability to send emails , SMS , Push Notification and What's App Integration. Now with the New Adobe Campaign V8 and it's architecture it had ability to reach 1 billion+ audience. Also with the upcoming new UI/UX it's even more easy for marketers to use and customise the campaign.
  • Email management
  • Cross Channel Marketing
  • Sometime downtime occur
Any organisation using Adobe Campaign can do personalization at scale and can easily send emails , SMS , Push Notification and What's App Integration. Now with the New Adobe Campaign V8 and it's architecture it had ability to reach 1 billion+ audience.

Adobe Campaign gives great experience in cloud options for cross channel management. It helps the users to learn how to use complex customer data to organise, create and even deliver the volatile campaigns with the help of email, mobile, other channels and many more. Adobe Campaign helps the users to find self-help and multilple resources practising and implementation.
  • Manages multiple cross channels
  • Helps to handle dynamic large customer data and coordinate it
  • It provides self help and even latest learning users for the users
  • The features are not easy to understand for the new users
  • They provide generic analytics and insights like other platforms
  • The tools are little heavy sometimes which leads to crash of Adobe Campaign
Adobe Campaign has a huge range of customer base and it has also collaborated with lots of big companies which makes it even more effective for business promotions but there are definitely some problem when it comes to integrating it with adobe tools as customer support is not that responsive.

Adobe Campaign is a perfect solution to manage all the parts in a project which relate with the interaction with potential customers and already clients. I used the platform a lot in the past year and the ease to use makes it perfect for a vast audience and needs. The fact that it gives you the possibility of so many tools integrated in one, well organised platform, it’s ideal.
  • Newsletter.
  • Distribution.
  • Mass marketing.
  • Simplification of workflows creation.
  • Remove some redundant functions.
  • Simplification of newsletter pages creation.
It would be perfect to organise a mass market campaign, but totally wrong for managing single interactions with the customers. Still, one of the good thing is the possibility to customise the platform to your needs, even if in the last versions became basically not possible (for what I know).

I am a coder on the Infrastructure team and we are integrating ACC for the first time and we find the support team to be very helpful. The Client Console has infinite functionality and with that comes a bit of a learning curve but there is training and documentation provided from Adobe that can assist with any questions you may have.
  • Online forums with answered questions for the community
  • Client relationships and assistance
  • Email tracking
  • Online documentation BEFORE license purchasing
  • Speed of response to forum questions
  • Clarity in the documentation: some phrases are used interchangeably.
If you need to track user behavior, which honestly everyone should want to do in order to deliver customized responses, campaigns, and feedback, this is the right tool for you.

We use Adobe Campaign across the Digital Marketing team, with Paid Search, Email Marketing, SEO, and Social Media. Campaign helps the teams to communicate effectively and coordinate aspects of campaigns like ad copy, emails, and keywords to focus on. Campaign also provides features that integrate with AEM personalization, which allows us to tailor the message for the specific customer we are targeting.
  • Integrates well with AEM and third party apps
  • Excels at personalization
  • Helps coordinate all aspects of a campaign
  • The UI can at times be difficult to navigate
  • There is a strong preference (obviously) for other Adobe products. Better integration with other tools
  • Not as many research-oriented opportunities
Adobe Campaign excels in coordinating integrated marketing campaigns that utilize 3 or more channels. It can be used for singular channel campaigns, but that's not where its full abilities lie. In addition, organizations that use campaign would benefit from using other Adobe products, as it integrates best with them.

A great tool for aligning all of our marketing efforts through email, push notifications, SMS marketing, etc. By managing these campaigns all in one place we are able to make sure that all of our messaging is aligned. We use this across our whole organization though it is definitely concentrated in our sales and marketing team to complete marketing and sales materials. It solves the problem of keeping track of all of our different marketing efforts through different platforms.
  • Email notifications
  • Push notifications
  • SMS marketing
  • Automated marketing
  • Convenient email marketing
  • Slow as a whole
  • Interface takes some learning
  • Expensive
Adobe Campaign is well-suited for a cross channel marketing campaign that takes place over several different channels and needs to be aligned. An example would be a campaign that utilizes an SMS list, email list, social media, etc. If you are just wanting to create a very detailed email campaign with automation, for example, this may not be the best tool to use.

Adobe Campaign is used by several major departments in our organization. Our Digital department uses it frequently and it is our main email marketing tool. It addresses the needs of effectively managing thousands of users and storing master profile IDs of our users and audience. It also is useful for gathering sign ups from our website.
  • Dynamic content - allows for customizing emails
  • Powerful workflows - allows for segmentation and other complex queries
  • Managing tens of thousands of users
  • Steep learning curve
  • Duplication of user profiles has been a problem
  • The new creative design editor has some quirks
Adobe Campaign is well suited for large companies that have massive email marketing needs and need to manage tens of thousands of users, especially if they need to sync those settings with other master person IDs. It is useful for companies that need to send dynamic/personalized emails and need complex workflows for managing their email campaigns. It is less appropriate if you need a very simple and streamlined tool.

Adobe Campaign has a very convenient interface with all the necessary tools required to create any type of campaign be it simple or complex and comes with intuitive features such as email delivery and integration with third-party apps. It helps our organization attach and send messages internally as well as recover previous messages.
  • Integration with third-party applications.
  • Customization of the interface.
  • Data privacy.
  • Provides us with constant improvements to the Campaign.
  • Synchronization is incredibly slow with Google Drive and Adobe Cloud.
  • Crashes frequently.
  • Software could've been more user-friendly.
  • No tutorials for new users.
It is very well suited for email delivery and tracking within an organization that also helps to pass spam filters to ensure emails get delivered. It is less appropriate to users who have limited knowledge with respect to this software and therefore it has a steep learning curve which can be solved by providing tutorials.

We utilize Adobe Campaign across our entire company as a way to engage with current and prospective clients in the most engaging way possible ... one on one. It has marketing automation functionality and strong analytics features that integrate seamlessly with our CRM platform. We have been able to customize it to our specific needs and remove roadblocks that have caused us time and money in the past. Now all is handled while we sleep.
  • It helps us predict what customers will do...then reacts accordingly.
  • AC makes it easy for us to lay out logical workflows and automation with a visual orchestration.
  • Helps us identify and predict the next steps in campaigns.
  • As great as it is once you get going ... it has a steep learning curve.
  • Althought the tools are there ... sometimes it is hard to find them ... thank God for Google.
The features and options available in Adobe Campaign are extensive. We use it to run our marketing campaigns across multiple types of devices. It covers all the bases from e-mail, mobile, or a direct mail sent to a prospect, we can do it all. It is a great tool for just keeping track of things, coming campaign elements and a history of what has occurred. Reporting could use some work and the amount of customization required is a bit steep.

It is being stood up so that we can support our Marketing Business partners by automating e-mail communications. The Marketing Automation team utilizes this tool within the IT area. Plans are to create a best in class marketing campaign automation across multiple channels to support the initiatives of our Marketing partners.
  • Campaign automation
  • Multi-touch communications
  • Tracking the customer journey
  • Very high learning curve, there can be better documentation and resources to provide training.
  • Needs the ability to create custom objects.
  • Adobe support is slow and unresponsive.
Adobe Campaign is best when there is a Marketing campaign that wants to track a customer journey and drive the next best action. It is not good for "one and done" communications or situations where you just want to send information without a call to action. It can do it, but it's a little pointless.

Our company works on four verticals: Risk, Assurance, Standards, and Property. Adobe Campaign is used in the three portfolios for end-to-end campaigns for creating awareness, demand generation, contact acquisition, and retention. We are using it as an email marketing tool on a daily basis and recently started using the SMS feature to reach out to more probable customers. Most of our marketing managers are from a non-tech background and the way Adobe Campaign works fills the tech gap.
  • Workflow interface is excellent. Complex SQL queries are seamlessly executed by non-technical users.
  • Audience targeting based on business parametres. Email tracking and delivery performance measurement.
  • 3rd party integrations via external accounts.
  • Database access and extension capability.
  • End to end campaign management.
  • Steep learning curve. Meager learning materials. Very difficult for the first time users.
  • Helpful support but response time can be improved. The slack channel is present for other Adobe products but not available for adobe campaign.
  • Bugs fixes need to be done(e.g, SMS bugs prior to v7).
  • Absence of in-house inbox/email rendering to check the UI rendered for different email clients.
Excellent marketing automation tool for cross channel seamless, automated and personalized marketing campaigns. Great for crafting flawless user journeys and targetting audience based on certain parameters. Good for building deliveries, forms, landing pages in one place and checking the KPI. When marketing managers need to create complex workflows/queries without requiring SQL knowledge, this tool is very helpful.

We use Adobe Campaign in our marketing department. Right now, it is being used as an email platform only. Once we fully implement email, we will then integrate SMS and Direct Mail. We also have plans to do personalization testing with Adobe Target.
  • Flexible. If you have a developer, you can build many custom experiences.
  • Integration with other Adobe products.
  • Usability: it is not an easy tool to use. It is very complicated and not user friendly at all. The learning curve is steep.
  • Product Support: especially for an on-prem or hybrid solution. We've had bad experiences with support and have wasted countless hours only to get no answers to our issues.
I wish we would have known from the get-go that having Adobe Campaign Classic required a developer. We tried to make the tool work without having someone on our team with the appropriate skills and we failed to implement it correctly. Only after numerous complaints, we were advised to have a dedicated technical resource.

It is used by our digital department for email marketing campaigns.
  • Managing thousands of users
  • Dynamic content personalization
  • Ability for complex workflows
  • Steep Learning Curve
  • It is a complex program
  • The email designer interface can be buggy
It's good for companies that need a very robust tool. Adobe Campaign has a lot of capacity even though it is a complicated tool to learn. I would recommend taking a workshop to see how it works before buying it.

Adobe Campaign is best for large institutions who are wanting to get in touch with their consumers. It is used by the marketing team as a campaign management tool for CRM activities, automated and ad-hoc marketing communication aimed at both leads and the existing customer base. Email is the premiere channel for communicating with the customers and this product makes it so easy. It has a native integration with AEM to author the content.
  • The application Integrates easily with CRM, has a large storage area and flexible storage capabilities and includes web tracking and automated workflows making automation simple.
  • It is a great social marketing tool that allows you to get even closer to your client with ease.
  • Adobe makes the process of setting up and running a campaign across multiple different platforms very fast and easy. I also like all of the tracking features. Analytics are extremely important in today's marketing world to know what is most effective.
  • While the software overall is easy to use, some of the setup menus can be confusing. It can be challenging to find the right tools as every campaign program works differently and we have used many over the years.
  • Some have complained about the steep learning curve. However, this can be offset by a comprehensive implementation strategy.
  • It crashes occasionally, which makes working difficult. Further, this system isn't super user-friendly.
This is definitely a beneficial program for a really big campaign, with multiple users and most likely multiple devices. If you need something on a smaller scale, I would try another product.

Since we are a very small company, we use it company-wide. The program definitely helped in running larger-scale marketing campaigns across multiple types of devices. Whether it was via e-mail, SMS on mobile, or the direct snail mail, we definitely were able to market directly to our fan base.
  • Your customer database can be customized to your liking.
  • Channel and marketing success can be achieved with essentially an all in one tool.
  • User interface has been revamped for increased workflow productivity.
  • The user interface can be difficult to grasp for marketers
  • Include full integration for other Adobe marketing software.
  • Plenty of features need heavy customization for optimal performance
If you are running a large scale multi-device campaign, it would be perfect. If you are a small company with small goals, this product will be too much to handle.

  • Easily link live offers and variable information.
  • Direct mail and e-mail are more closely intertwined.
  • UI/UX Interface is very poor; Drop-down menus do not function well, many buttons are unintuitive, lack of quick-save features, cluttered and disorganized menus.
  • When using for e-mail, error messages are extremely vague - it rarely gives enough information to troubleshoot without seeking professional help; loading images is an extremely tedious process; lack of multi-selection load; overall experience is very buggy.
  • No Mac accessibility.
  • Unstable functionality, constant crashes and prompts random error messages that rarely explain the issue.
  • Email development contains too much back-end involvement. Knowing how to write javascript should not be a procedure in the e-mail building process. Implementing simple variable functionality should be done with a click of a button, NOT by writing javascript code manually.
Neolane must update the UI/UX. It is very outdated.
