  • GoToConnect (formerly Jive)
Dialpad [Talk] is much easier to understand and configure from an admin standpoint. One thing that Dialpad [Talk] does not have that GoToConnect does have is the ability to create DialPlans. These dialplans are very customizable. I wish DialPad had DialPlans. To be honest, GoToConnect seems to cost less per user but Dialpad [Talk] is much easier to deploy and get employees on board using it. Dialpad [Talk] also is also directly integrated into our dispatching software which is something that GoToConnect is not.

I personally find Dialpad Talk to be extremely easy to use. At one point we has a large group of agents who weren't tech saavy whatsoever. This had concerned us but after seeing how fast they learned how to use it, mainly because of how user friendly Dialpad Talk is, those concerns went away.

  • Harvest
The Harvest app is the only other product our company uses and it is for time tracking and project budgets. These two products are not comparable to each other. I am unsure of competitors to the Dialpad [Talk] product. We are happy enough to not explore those other options at this time.

Dialpad knocks FrontSpin out of the way be the overall quality of the service, the ease of use along with the features that are geared up for you to make your day count when you're on the phones. Another thing to highlight is the ease of integrating Dialpad within Salesforce in comparison to the hassle that is caused to get data organized within FrontSpin.

I use Zoom a lot. Started using Dialpad and wish the video was easy to use. I have to practice. I've also used Skype that is a similar product for calling. My perspective is to consider making the video a bit easier to use. My experience has been great with similar products but Dialpad is on its way.

8x8 was fine after some initial bumps in the road. The deep CRM integration was the key factor in our decision to switch. We've made a major effort to streamline into a paperless/automated office as much as possible; the phone system needed to mesh with that. The ability to text form our main office number (which we do often) directly through Dialpad was another major bonus.
