1) as landlord and property manager, preparing leases for tenants to sign for apartment rentals.
2) as real estate agents, preparing agreements of sale for clients to sign and sellers to execute.
3) as a project manager, it's an easy tool to facilitate change requests or statements of work with clients.
DocuSign is the safe way to go!
- Ease of signing documents.
- Safe storage of documents.
- Customization.
- Repeat fields could be a little easier to apply to documents.
Signing made easy!
- Easy to upload documents.

- Simple sign up process.
- Simple set up for a user to begin using for their agreements.
- A record and history of all documents.
- You can send agreements from anywhere.
- It could have a better tutorial for new users.
- It's not terrible by any means, but I always believe the UX can be improved and iterated over time.
- Possibly a text message alert once a document has been signed by the other party.
DocuSign Goes Well With Salesforce
- Integration with Salesforce.
- Templating and custom fields.
- A great dashboard and ease of use when building new documents.
- Debugging utilities when the Salesforce integration doesn't work.
- Better error messages and a better log of errors connected with contracts when syncing to Salesforce.
- The admin dashboard experience can be confusing and unintuitive.
DocuSign gets the job done and is vital in this day and age
- DocuSign is very easy and intuitive to use. Once you send 1 or 2 contracts it becomes second nature
- DocuSign does a great job of tracking and managing documents/contracts.
- DocuSign's UI is very nice to work in. There are some other digital signature platforms that just seem archaic.
- There are some technical issues that come with the platform, but to be expected when dealing with software. i.e. crashes, software being slow.
- Hard to get a really neat and tidy signature due to the electronic nature of the platform.
- Customer service can be iffy at times, and if you are not an enterprise customer there is not much support (when offering free versions this should be expected).
DocuSign makes getting signatures on documents easy!
- Easy to use, user-friendly.
- Excellent value for the money.
- Saves paper, saves trees!
- Occasionally someone may sign but forget the complete button.
- No other cons, Docusign rocks!
Definitely a leader in the space, easy to use
- Speed
- Streamlined process
- Easy to use
- Some people are uncomfortable with e-signing
- Not appropriate for every industry
- May face some reluctant people
DocuSign: important tool for any sales person.
- Streamlines the sales process by making it easy for prospects to sign contracts.
- Streamlines the legal review process by making it easy for signers to agree to terms.
- Makes it easy for me to generate sign-able orders which saves time!
- Documents could be easier to edit after generation.
I'd say sign on the dotted line for DocuSign
- It's intuitive. Anyone can easily execute contracts from their computer or mobile device.
- It seems really secure. I like how each signature gets a digital code associated with it.
- It's robust enough where you can set up signing order and other workflows to fit your business process.
- It's reliable - I don't think I've ever noticed a bug.
- I wish multiple people could be alerted when the signer views the contract.
- I wish the validity date feature was easier to understand and/or offered the ability to get more granular (specify at what hour it's voided).
- I wish the completed document could automatically be attached in a deal in the CRM system.
While DocuSign is pretty simple on the sender side, I think it might be a little overkill for the most basic contracts and use cases. With that said, it's not difficult to learn whatsoever so even the most basic technology user should get the hang of it within a few minutes.
Makes onboarding so fast and easy!
- Eliminates scanning documents once signed.
- Easy to implement.
- Saves time with onboarding new employees.
- Could be easier to integrate into existing software used by companies.
Easy to use for personal and business use
- Ease of sending the same document out to multiple recipients, at multiple locations, for multiple signatures
- Quick turnaround - once the recipient signs the document, we receive notification and the document back immediately
- Can resend, alter, change, and/or add to the email and/or document that is sent out very easily
- The recipient can save the document after signing, so they too have their own electronic copy for their records
- Until you get used to the size/area for signatures, you can accidentally overcrowd the signature area if there are multiple signatures
- Some recipients have stated that they have no problem with the signature or date sections, but are confused as to how to navigate to a check a box
- Until I played around with the program, I didn't see any specific instruction that told me I could just click a box and have multiple documents sent out in no particular order; at first, I thought they went out in the order I put them in. It took trial and error to learn that by clicking certain boxes, they can go out in any order, and then I can just remind one or two people to sign, not everyone
Saves time and frustration.
- DocuSign is convenient & usable on any iPhone, Android, laptop or tablet.
- Integration with Salesforce and other media platforms.
- Provides a better customer experience & closes deals faster.
- Easy to use UI.
- Custom signatures when signing... Personal touch points close deals.
- Ease of changing signers.
Make easy digital signatures
- Supports multiple languages which is a good feature.
- Helps me create digital signatures with a proper alignment of all the alphabets used in the signing.
- User interface is quite intuitive. The name is enough to understand the functionality i.e. digital signatures for documents.
- There should be few pre designed templates so that it can save a user’s time.
- By far, my experience has been good with DocuSign. There’s nothing specific to be mentioned as a con.
Save Trees & Time with DocuSign
- DocuSign eliminates the need to print documents to sign, rescan, and send back. It is an easy tool to get quick signatures, while saving some trees in the process!
- The software is very secure for users, making it less stressful to send documents with sensitive information. The system also provides great storage and archives for these documents.
- The program is very user-friendly. Easy to get new users up and running. It's also easy for signers - instructions are straightforward. DocuSign is also one of the easier programs to use when trying to send documents to multiple programs.
- DocuSign is usable on any phone, laptop or tablet - convenient for the variety of users we have.
- Although UI is user-friendly, it's a bit boring. There are few customization options.
- Costly - this is the main complaint. If you are not signing/sending a lot of documents, it may not be worth the cost. The lower level packages have fewer features, which makes the unworthy of the cost.
- Emails often go to spam, or end users think they are spam, given how the templates look. This can slow the signing process, which can be frustrating.
If your organization sends a small number of contracts, I would recommend looking into a cheaper/free option. DocuSign has great features, but at a pretty high price.
The best eSignature platform.
- It integrates beautifully into my processes and makes it very easy to use seamlessly.
- It's easy to use and intuitive. If you can use Word and email, you can use DocuSign.
- Love all the notification options and automatic reminders.
- I would love more signature styles
- Sometimes the fields to be filled out/signed are off the proper positioning. Can be a little annoying.
The best out there, plain and simple
- Integration with Salesforce and other platforms.
- Accessibility over mobile phone.
- User interface is extremely simple to navigate
- Aestically, the platform could use some work.
- More colors and visually appealing functionality.
- There are some components of the signature process that would be nice to have customized. (Signature lines, etc., which might be doable but I can’t figure it out)
- Efficiency.
- User friendly.
- Various functions.
- Signature styles.
- Signature tracking in bulk.
- Signature page creation.
Leader in their field
- Easy to navigate.
- Available on all devices.
- Trustworthy.
- Multiple signatories.
- Cost is higher than others.
- Smaller package really doesn't have many features at all.
Saves time and trees!
- It's easy to setup and implement, even if you are not very good with technology.
- It provides a great user experience for the other party involved.
- It automatically provides final documents to both parties.
- It would be helpful if DocuSign plugged into different software that we use internally.
