I've used Salesforce and Sharepoint in the past. Both require IT involvement and development resulting in more hassle and slow deployments. QuickBase allowed me to develop what I want when I want.

Product usability. There were no off the shelf programs that could deliver what quickbase can for the price. The development was done by the people using the software the most making it easier and more aligned with their needs.

Not purchased. Didn’t know it was available
Had an issue with report linking that even support couldn’t figure out. They took the time to redo the part of the linking that was causing problems and have not had an issue since.
