UltiPro Review
Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
We implemented HR, Payroll, Recruiting & Onboarding and Benefits Open Enrollment and Life Events. It is being used by mainly HR and Payroll but we also have employee self-service so that employees are able to view their pay stubs and update personal information as well as tax and direct deposit. It helped us go almost paperless in Payroll and has allowed more visibility to employees of their information as well as managers.
Pros
- It is super intuitive so non-tech savy people can use it very easily
- The reporting is great.
- They are always improving and enhancing the product.
- Their people are GREAT!
Cons
- Benefits Module - Especially Life insurance limitations to setup - Rounding rules do not work in OE.
- Recruiting Module has some gaps that could be filled. Ultimate is working to improve the Recruiting module.
- Training - Web courses are very lengthy. Would be nice to have them split into 2 hour blocks because it is difficult to block 4 hours at a time.
- Online training
- In-person training

Evaluating UltiPro and Competitors
- ADP Vantage HCM, Oracle eBusiness Suite and kronos
UltiPro seemed much easier to use than the others and seemed easier to implement. The reporting capability was a winning factor for our company as well.
Yes - We replaced Kronos HR and Payroll. We were up against a system upgrade and were not happy with Kronos in regards to the HR Platform. We looked at several HCM products and decided on Ultimate as our partner. We still use Kronos for timekeeping purposes.
