A Great Tool to Keep Your Event on Track & Organized
We use Cvent to manage most of our annual customer event. We use Cvent for registration as well as abstract management in order to keep track of and schedule sessions. It helps to have all of this information consolidated into one place. It has helped us keep the event on track and organized.

The good and the bad! Cvent Event Management Review
Cvent Event Management is used by our event services department. It is a being used to configure both in person and virtual events. We also use it for date sourcing, invitation sending and recruitment. We have also found it helpful to use for creating one event with multiple date/session options.

Cvent Management Review
Cvent is used across the whole organization; they are a preferred partner. Depending on the level of service that a client signs up for, they will either be using Cvent as their main registration platform or they will have the ability to use a different product/service.

From venue-sourcing to post-event surveys and everything in between, Cvent is a one-stop shop for event planning.
Our 4-person travel and meetings department has used Cvent to design and execute large events for our organization, such as a national meeting for 850 attendees, and an incentive trip for 630 attendees. We have also used it for smaller groups and training classes. It is a robust platform which provides everything that we need in order to plan amazing events, from venue sourcing to post-event surveys and everything in between, which has been a very practical solution.
- Their support desk is exceptional and they never disappoint.
- They are relevant. They are now offering assistance with planning virtual and hybrid events.
- They have flexible training options and excellent certification opportunities.
- I wish the new hybrid and virtual options were included in the price and not considered "add-ons" which cost extra.
- Some of the features the features that were available in the Classic version are not yet enable in Flex.
- I feel inundated by an excessive amount of emails about news, announcements, training opportunities, or product updates. We have an account rep that keeps us current with those kinds of things.

- The platform is extremely user friendly; there is a very minimal learning curve.
- The platform is intuitive and integrated making event management easy.
- I haven't really found any missing functionality thus far in my experience.

At the University of Michigan we have several schools, colleges, and units who have taken advantage of Cvent Event Management. All roles, groups, and training is owned by our team at account level, however once any SCU has gone through our onboard training we let them build, launch, and take charge of their own events.

Cvent for DMOs
My organization uses Cvent Event Management as a portal to both promote our city and its venues as well as to communicate with event planners.
- Cvent allows planners to discover cities and/or venues they may not have otherwise considered.
- Cvent has continued working to integrate both DMOs and venues in the RFP distribution process.
- Launched the RFP Showcase which allows DMOs and Venues to respond to RFPs they may be a fit for but were not selected to receive.
- There is an awful lot of clicking in Cvent. A more streamlined system would not be a bad thing.
- Cvent was definitely designed for hotels and not DMOs. There are several features in the program that are not relevant to entities promoting an entire location over a specific venue.

Cvent in review
We use Cvent for all sourcing worldwide. It is used by our entire organization and it is used by all associates. It is a fantastic tool for sourcing providing us with custom fields, great client reports, hundreds of thousands of site solutions for our clients. Helps us help our clients find the best locations for their events.
- Client reports - easy to read, update and customize for our clients.
- Mapping - love this option to be able to show clients exactly where their site options will be based on specific needs.
- Communications with partners - allows us to communicate with many at once versus email.
- Honestly, based on my experience so far, I can't think of a con or new idea for Cvent.

Cvent is great for big events!
Cvent Event Management is a tool my company uses with the majority of our clients. We are a third party event planning company and we own our own instance of Cvent. We also use other companies' instances of Cvent when they have their own licenses. Cvent helps to eliminate extra work and keep all of the information we need in one place. We used to use a proprietary system that did not tie in very well with all of the other tools our organization uses, but once we adopted Cvent, that really helped to minimize the need to move information from one system to another. Cvent has the ability to tie in with a number of other platforms that help to organize a trip more quickly and easily, with less human error.
- Cvent has a great website platform for collecting registrant information.
- Cvent ties in with Crowd Compass easily to allow for a great onsite tool attendees can use.
- Cvent is continuously working to improve processes and create new ways to use the platform to ease the struggle of event planning.
- I wish that you could tie in primary registrant and guest records together more easily.
- It would be nice if you could have a separate default airport for destination arrival and for destination departure, in case they are going on a cruise or location hopping. We have many instances like this in our incentive programs.
- It would be nice if the app and website were housed within the same platform to help with having to recreate static pages from one to the other.
- Flex has a rather cumbersome travel module that is not as customize able as I believe it should be given that the product is named Flex...

Cvent is used for our entire event management, we do all our event registrations. Since we have started using Cvent, things have changed and we do things differently, everything is centralized and reports are more dynamic and systematic, we have gone more into paperless meetings, even for us as organizers everything is digitally stored and processed in Cvent.
Cvent is a very easy and reliable platform for having your registration website and flows, it allows you to make very complex registration paths with different exceptional scenarios, the integration with other tools such as CRM or Dynamics 365 is very nice, makes things so much easier.

Great product for conference and event management
The entire conference management and program management departments, as well as business services currently use Cvent. The difference is great for conference management but it fails to meet the needs of programs or business services.

Cvent is used by our operations department to help meet client goals and get events online and open in a short time frame.

Cvent gets an A+ in my book!
Cvent has revolutionized our event management processes. We started small by only purchasing with one department for a one-year trial. After great success, we have expanded to all departments. We find the system to be user friendly, both on the staffing side and the registrant side. Customer service is top notch!

- Cvent allows me to track everything in one place - budget, hotel nights, travel plans, registration, etc.
- Cvent has a top notch customer service team that is always willing to help!
- The cost is prohibitive for smaller organizations with a limited budget.
- We have experienced some issues with our integration into CRM, but this is a new process and we're working out the kinks.

Great help in regards to event management!
Cvent is used for event management (i.e. internal and physician training) across the whole organization. It is a great tool that helps us to identify and find meeting venues and allows us to process easily all aspects of event management such as online event registration, email communication with the attendees, and web surveys. Another great feature is the Supplier Network: a free, online marketing place that connects meeting planners with venues and services.

- Could be easier to navigate
- Website HTML editor could be more advanced and compatible with other programs in regards to formatting (i.e.: MS Word)
- Budgeting could be done in an easier way
We use it for all of our client events where registration is required. To track all attendees, collect payments, and send out important correspondence.
- Tracking attendee data, such as personal info, payments, refunds, and all event related data.
- Flex events: Very user friendly and easy to build dynamic websites that are visually pleasing.
- Community: Articles, webinars, videos for all products, and solutions. Customer service is always available if there is an issue.
- Better ability to make changes to an individual's registration without having to go through the entire registration process.
- More customization with regards to photo and widget sizing while building a website.
- Figure out a way to decrease the odds that an email sent to an attendee doesn't automatically go to their spam/junk folder. Although there is a meter present on every email which indicates the likelihood that your email will go to junk, I don't believe it's accurate.
- Being able to change the dates of the event and all components such as hotel and travel requests when people are already registered. Currently, it's a nightmare because you can't simply change the dates. There are several steps and processes to go through which create a lot of extra manual work and take precious time away.

Attendee Management Review
Cvent Event Management is used throughout many departments in our company. Clients will send meeting request forms through Cvent, our sourcing team uses Cvent to find meeting location options, and our event websites and registration sites are created in Cvent. We also use Cvent to manage attendees and room blocks and on-site at events.
- Registration - with all of the options available for this there is always a way to make it work no matter the type of event.
- Flex Website Design - this newer feature is looking great and will help make the website more unique for each client.
- The media library used to adding photos to websites is a big miss for me. It's not an efficient photo library and needs a lot of updating to make it more user-friendly.
- Reporting - while reporting is getting better there are areas that still need updating. Having quicker access to key data about events on the main overview page would be a way to step this up.

From small groups of 20 to larger groups of over 1,000, we are using Cvent to create a more streamlined process for our members from the event website and registration experience to onsite registration and the event app.

We are a third party event management company. We provide registration and event technology solutions for companies. Currently Cvent is used in our department only.
- Cvent has very robust reporting options.
- Cvent has a comprehensive meetings management workflow options.
- Cvent is continually striving to make their modules better and more user friendly.
- Cvent could benefit from expanding the bulk action options within the attendee management module.

Cvent is a Great Event Management Software
At our non-profit organization, we use Cvent to help manage the registrations for our events as well as keep track of our financials. We are able to create our registration websites through Cvent, and it helps make our attendee experience nice and convenient.

- Personally, I cannot think of any negatives.
We use Cvent to provide registration for five our organization's events annually. Cvent collects our attendee's information and payments leading up to the events.
