(26-50 of 70)Google Voice for Enterprise -- Great for SMB, but not quite ready for the Big Boys
- Simple Interface.
- Fast deployment and integration with GSuite accounts.
- Cross-Platform compatibility.
- Classic Google Voice one number / multi-device simulations ring style.
- Expanded device support in the GSuite admin portal, they could easily add-on support for legacy Obihai devices.
- Admin controlled call-recording for compliance and record keeping.
- Better documentation/support for Admins.
- Ability to port-in numbers with a extension designated for the ported number. This would help streamline migration from other phone vendors, as it is now the port-in process rough because there is no way to automate the number assignment once the port is complete.
Google Voice is Exceptional!
- Clear calls are important and with google voice you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
- Simple platform and easy to use even with new users we find there is little to no learning curve.
- Fast and reliable when the matters are of an urgent nature.
- Support is a little lacking and I have had a few small issues in the start that took a while to figure out
- Multimedia messaging can be complicated such as linked images instead of embedded.
- At the time we ported numbers there was a $20 fee
VOIP for small team settings, heavily secure!
- Good security.
- Call quality.
- Low cost.
- Customer support.
- International support.
- Google Voice give users option to create their own phone number, important especially for users who do not want to give their personal numbers for registering to somewhere
- Having Google search feature is great function for instance to find old messages or phone calls
- Ability to use on multi devices which gives you sync all your data and reach them from all of your devices sync devices and phone numbers
- Call recording and text saving is a quite basic but a very good function of Google Voice
- Voicemail transcription may not work properly if not spoken clearly or non-native English is used
- Sending multimedia message and picture is an issue
- Abilities and the interface of IOS app causes users not to enjoy the app (is a kind of a generic issue of Google products on IOS platform)
Google Voice is a great free alternative to adding a business line!
- Google Voice makes it easy to establish a unique phone number without having to purchase a new line.
- The transcription feature upon receiving a voicemail allows me to funnel the message through email so I can get a semi-accurate reading of the voice message I received.
- I also like how Google Voice lets those who contact me for business send messages that go through Google instead of a private text message to my phone number. I appreciate the privacy that it afforded me and my team.
- The voice transcriptions are not always accurate, they could certainly improve in interpreting the voice to text.
- I'd like to see an easier user web interface or app for this. Google has so many features, it's a bit challenging to navigate to set up or modify after I've been away from it for a while.
- I think it's easy to miss a Google Voice call as it doesn't always seem to ring enough before going to voicemail.
Best and easy way to interact with teams across the globe.
- Coordination with different people across the globe.
- You only pay for the time you use, so better billing.
- Clear voice quality and integration with the application.
Makes communication convenient
- Google Voice allows you to effortlessly message someone, similar to iMessage how you can easily message people from your desktop.
- Calling people through Google Voice is much easier than having to do anything on your desk phone.
- Google Voice offers an organized list of contacts that you can call and organize by department.
- At times, I think the design and layout of Google Voice could be more organized and cleaner.
- I wish there was more options to customize the look of it, both aesthetics and organization.
- Sometimes texts may take slightly longer to send thru voice rather than normal mobile phone.
For the price, there is no competition.
- Flexibility.
- Multiple users can be notified.
- Voicemail transcription.
- Transcription is sometimes inaccurate.
- Can't forward to other GV numbers.
Great
- Identity protection
- Buying and selling
- Communications
- Letting people use their platform freely
- Policy
The way Voice should be
- No connectivity issues like other software we tried.
- No fear of losing stored messages during outages.
- Easy to use and teach clients how to properly use.
- I have nothing bad to say.
Google Voice: Fast, Simple, and Reliable
- Cheap
- Random phone number not connected to personal or work lines
- The app is reliable
- The last time I checked you can't send media through Google Voice text messages.
- It doesn't filter out spam calling.
- I want an easier way to be able to change the Google Voice number.
A lightweight and inexpensive entry into VOIP service
- Google Voice works well on multiple hardware platforms including mobile phones.
- Its voicemail capabilities are fairly decent if not overloaded.
- Google Voice doesn't require a strong PC or system to run on. It has light hardware requirements.
- Google Voice lacks expandability to meet the needs of a larger office environment or where a large communication network is based.
- For some, Google Voice can be a little tricky to use at times. Some users find it difficult to find the Google app.
- Google Voice lacks native video chatting abilities but can do it with a plug in.
Great voice call service
- Great for landline calls or mobile numbers
- It has its own system for messaging
- You can store unlimited amount of contacts without any cost
- With the owned number, you can have access to caller ID
- Sometime it lags when the call mailbox is full
- Some messages bounce back when writing more than 250 characters
- No access to buy other number with the same account
Google Voice is a great option for a local phone number that can forward to your personal number
- Stores voicemail
- Transcribes voicemail
- Filters spam (pretty well)
- It's a little difficult to transfer/move phone numbers around accounts.
- Voicemail transcription is a nice feature, but doesn't actually always work that well in practice.
- Desktop support is not as robust as other Google apps have recently become.
Google Voice: a solid option for personal call management
- Voicemail transcription.
- Call routing.
- Support for multiple devices.
- Dynamic scheduling.
- Desktop support.
- Integration with other systems.
Google Voice Enables Scale at Growing Startups!
- Easy to understand interface.

- Overall, simple and easy!
- Theme/color customization could be greater/more robust.
- Security could be better.
Google Voice is the Best Choice for Podcast Producing
- Recording phone call
- Reception both domestic and overseas
- Inexpensive rates for international calls
- Ease of use
- Better implementation with Gmail and other Google services
- Cleaner interface
- MacOS app
Google Voice is an excellent option for a dedicated business line that works seamlessly with your existing cell phone.
- Easy to use, phone app and desktop website are easy to navigate and get messages and call lists.
- Setup is super easy and fast.
- Works beautifully as a second line over top of your existing line.
- Would love to see the ability to connect more than one Google Voice number to one cell phone.
- Sometimes number availability is sparse in some zip codes.
Have Used Google Voice since 2009
- Transcribes voicemail
- Links to another phone number
- Spam Filtering
- The web interface is really basic. It could use a design spruce up.
- I think Google under promotes Google Voice and people don't know it's a product they can use.
- Would like to be able to easily move phone numbers around on accounts we own.
Great product (Free version) - Eliminate giving out your cell #
- Portability - can send calls anywhere.
- Voice quality - great sound. Rarely an issue.
- Text to speech - Does a fairly good job.
- I use it as a replacement number for my Android cell phone. This way if I ever need to change my cell #, I still can be reached.
- Text to speech needs improvement
- The removed the call feature and use hangouts instead. Not a good feature. (I don't know if the enterprise version has improved on this or not)
- Sometimes the calls don't go through, but it could just be my carrier.
- Great for forwarding to cell phone, or answering anywhere in the world on VOIP
- Not sure if enterprise supports more than just basic call functionality, as I don't have that yet.
- Free alternative (or almost free) to paying for a business line
Hands-free
- I enjoy the hands-free option it allows me, as well as the ability to capture my brainstorming ideas!
- I enjoy not having to spell-check.
- I enjoy not having to punctuate.
- My accent gets in the way at times.
- Misheard words can be a pain.
- Having to speak in a monotone voice to ensure the wording is picked up correctly.
- Ability to choose custom phone number.
- Transcription of voicemail messages.
- Intuitive web interface.
- More room for improvement with regard to commercial use. They could take notes from Grasshopper.
- iPhone app limitations prevent full feature use that's available via desktop.
- Caller ID name can't be customized to my knowledge.
Excellent free platform!
- Rings multiple lines to one phone
- Text message from browser
- Sends voicemails to email
- It can be tricky to configure exactly how you want it. If you are particular about which voicemail greeting goes to which number, and how it appears when it rings through to the phone - it can take a good amount of work to set it up properly.
Google Voice provides incredible options for free
- Cost savings
- Manage phone calls, texts, and voicemail

- You can text from the app.
- Makes it easy to have a separate voicemail that automatically transcribes the messages into my email.
- Slight lag regardless of if you are on a mobile device or on the computer.
- Voicemail transcription, though a great feature, it needs some work still.
- Unable to forward calls or three-way calls.
- Not enough available phone numbers per area code.
