We use Zenefits for payroll and insurance purposes. It works very very well for what we use it for. I clock in and out using the mobile app every day and love the convenience of it. Also, whenever I have any insurance or benefits questions I know I can find the resources I need and where I need to find them.

I am traveling a lot for work and it is very easy to clock in and out from my cell phone. Anyone who is able to use a cell phone or computer would be easily able to use Zenefits. It is effortless to use and doesn't require any training at all. Each component of this app is labeled appropriately and easy to navigate. All employees at our company were able to use this app with no problem at all.

Zenefits support always goes above and beyond. The specific incident I can recall is when I was needing my insurance card. The support team directed me to the appropriate contact at our insurance company and I had the card in less than an hour.

Very well. It is easy to use and especially helpful when you are out at a customer site and able to access any employee's contact information. All functions that are available on the website are also available on the mobile interface.
It is very easy to use and does not require the end user to go to multiple sites to obtain many facets of HR/ Payroll information that the app offers.
We have not experienced any application errors or unplanned outages in the two years I have been using this app. Sometimes there is a lag in the time keeping/ confirming your location, however, it quickly resolves itself within seconds and more often than not is an internet connection error.
This app always loads extremely quickly and in a reasonable time frame. Like I said, when we do experience lags from this app, it is more often than not an internet connection error.

Zenefits is used in our company for our payment information, health insurance, and org chart. Employment history and Super simple and easy to use as a reference. I love the ease of access through the mobile app. Very convenient especially if you are not in front of your computer all the time. Thanks!

Zenefits is used throughout the whole organization since we're a small company. It allows employees to communicate their time ins and outs, request PTOs, and keeps track of their timesheets, and any office updates like employee handbooks.
  • Process our Quarterly Taxes.
  • Process our unemployment rates.
  • Sends reminders and inform employees of any time changes in payroll.
Cons
  • Limit one office device solely used for clocking in and out.
  • Or for employees' personal device to be tracked upon Wi-Fi connection as a clock in/out.
  • For the system to automatically let the team know someone's PTO has been approved, so that our Part-Time employee can take their spot.
Zenefits is definitely well-suited for small companies, probably because smaller companies are easier to manage. I've read that there are some complications if doing multiple locations under one company but I'm not there yet. We plan to set up another location, hopefully in the year 2021, and we'll continue with Zenefits anyway due to its ease of use.

Zenefits is just hip and modern compared to any other softwares I've used. It's very up-to-date, and constantly making HR experience very easy to follow. It's also constantly sending reminders and recommendations, especially with tools we may not be currently using at the moment. Since we aren't a very large company, we're not there yet, but I imagine once I hire a HR manager, this could become very beneficial for me to keep track of.

I've sent several questions to the Zenefits support team and they were responsive. [They were] fast, but if not, I usually got a reply within 24 hours. It would've been nice if they had the chat feature available 24/7 for any quick questions.

It's quite user-friendly as it doesn't take someone savvy to know how to use this software. It's mobility allows all users to check in anytime from anywhere. It also reduces the employees questioning on their documents or how to use.
