Bullhorn is generally easy to use and navigate within. It's straightforward and clear on how to find and input information. The set-up of the system is much easier than more complicated system, but it is less robust than other systems I have used. My biggest gripe with Bullhorn was that the submission process is not clear and cannot clearly tell the story of candidate submissions and is not good at tracking those. Or perhaps, we were just not good about following the process or setting it up accurately. There was also not good enough functionality for multiple recruiters being tied to multiple jobs. The dashboard could've been better. I was not involved on the accounting/commission side of things, but to my knowledge it wasn't great at linking commissions and had to be done outside of the system.

You wouldnt want to use anything else

We use Bullhorn ATS & CRM as our main CRM it enables us to easily track processes, add new candidate and client information, set reminders, send out mass emails and manage GDPR effectively. I use Bullhorn ATS & CRM from a purely administrative perspective I set up and manage new user accounts, manage GDPR requests, approve candidate placements / sales and manage the integration with our statistics/reporting software.

For recruitment businesses there really is no better tool out there. Bullhorn ATS & CRM integrates flawlessly with other software making it less work for consultants in having lots of different tabs open at once. In addition to this, the support team are fantastic they are quick to assist in fixing issues should they arise. I accidentally deleted a lot of tasks which are essentially diary reminders and leads which upset the sales floor as you can imagine. it was a quick fix for this to be undone quickly and without issue. Day to day, adding a candidate is as easy as dragging and dropping a document in either PDF or word format. the system pics up duplicates quickly also ensuring the system is not clogged up with lots of the same information.

My firm uses Bullhorn on a daily basis in order to track, update, and manage our candidate pipeline. The best part of Bullhorn Recruitment CRM is how it automates a lot of the processes that normally took our recruiting staff hours. Tearsheets, automatic reminders, and advanced search tools mean we're connecting with the right people, more quickly.

Bullhorn Recruitment CRM is best suited to manage candidate pipelines and client workflows. The application keeps account managers and recruiters completely up to date on how multiple interviews and submittals are working and the dashboard does a magnificent job of providing managers a snapshot of their team's performance.

One of the best ATS I have ever used! Bullhorn is the way to go!!!!!

We use Bullhorn ATS for application tracking for our IT recruitment agency. ATS is essential for a lot of reasons especially in the recruitment industry where all the work happens through Resume tracking. It's a great way to save Data and the interface helps in tracking the recruitment process of a candidate/ Job. The new Novo Interface is even better and a lot handier.
  • The submission tracking of a candidate and where they are at in the process.
  • Resume Parsing, auto populating the information makes the work easy.
  • Bullhorn enables other applications to be linked to it as well, eg- Textus, which makes the work easy in contacting candidates.
Cons
  • I think just the timing, sometimes the candidate information ton the notes section takes a bit time to load unless I immediately click, but this could be a network issue.
  • It would be convenient if there is a way to save all the search strings that I actually maintain in a different folder on my desktop.
I think especially in the IT Recruitment industry where Keywords plays a major role, Bullhorn can contain a vast database of IT folks here in Canada and abroad. out of all the tools I have used, Bullhorn is the most user-friendly and easiest to pick up as a new user.

In my capacity at Procom as admin support, I use Bullhorn every day to manage contracts for our consultants. For example when I get notice of an extension from our client for a consultant, we're able to keep track over many years of data for pay increase and previous documents. This allows us to keep things organized for our own files, as well as make sure all the requirements are being met for our client.

The whole organization uses Bullhorn for many other tasks offered by the software. I understand that recruiters use Bullhorn for job posting and other functions. I believe we also use Bullhorn at our other locations throughout Canada.

A curious problem we face today in this sort of industry of playing admin/customer support for our clients is the issue of security. This often comes up on the onboarding process. Consultants are very careful who to give out their information to, but as it is a business requirement, it proves a difficult problem. Especially when you face the problem of trying to have a backup of your internal files. Bullhorn addresses this concern by storing information securely away from our own internal database in case anything were to happen to a hard drive.

It's well suited for keeping files of our consultants and gives us the ability to pull data. To be able to keep track of everyone by the thousands (for my department alone) is an immeasurable help. This may not be suited for other businesses and fields... unless they really like creating data.
