DataMotion Secure Email is being used across the whole organization. It is used to comply with HIPPA requirements for our clients. It is used to communicate with clients to send and receive medical information. We also used it to send invoices to clients. Our staff used it to communicate internally when HIPPA related information needs to be shared.

We use data motion by all of the employees in our organization as well as out clients to email personal health information to each other to protect the PHI of our clients that our work email doesn't offer to us. It has made it more streamline when working with our clients and each other.

Great, easy to use secure mail
DataMotion is used by faculty, staff, and students to send secure documents such as government IDs for account purposes and for securely sending medical documentation which is extremely necessary during the Covid 19 pandemic. Without DataMotion we would be very limited in securely sending and receiving data needed for identity verification.

- Simple to setup when logging in for the first time.
- Easy to navigate UI.
- Some users are confused on how to make attachments.
- Setup email will go to spam inbox at times.
- No function to reply directly from previously sent messages without creating a new message.

Easy to use secure email system
DataMotion is used by our entire organization to assist in the transmission of secure documents from departments to departments. It is widely used in many departments across the organization and is used with external vendors as well. We implemented DataMotion for requests such as ID approval where clients need to show ID to verify their identity as well as things like onboarding and student hiring.
- User friendly: DataMotion is very easy for non-IT folks to sign up and use.
- Email tracking: DataMotion makes tracking emails and managing which have been opened/read easy.
- Security: DataMotion is easy to set up and is more secure than using standard email.
- It's not the prettiest site: The GUI could use some work but the functionality is there.

Pretty Good Solution for Sending Secure Emails
We use DataMotion Secure Email here at work, and we sell and maintain the service for our clients. It helps keep messages encrypted and secure. Our clients like it because DataMotion Secure Email is HIPPA compliant and allows them to reliably send messages between other offices and their customers.

DataMotion is Seamless and User Friendly. Great Service!
We use DataMotion to email patients information including x-rays, intraoral photos and treatment plans to other providers.

- DataMotion Secure email is easily accessed through whatever email client you are using.
- DataMotion is simple to use for the recipients of a secure email, even if they are not DataMotion users.
- As a site-based platform, Datamotion can handle the transmission of very large files.
- If accessing sent emails from the Datamotion site, archiving or finding email traffic after-the fact can be daunting.
- being able to easily recall or resurrect an email sent months or years earlier is not easy & sometimes impossible.

DataMotion Review
This is being used by our clients to fulfill meaningful Use 3 Requirements for Transition of Care using DIRECT. This is helping them meet the measure and also provide all transition documentation to the recipient securely via DIRECT email. We are using DataMotion's Restful API to achieve this functionality in our product.
- Their RESTFUL APIs make the transactions really smooth
- Their Customer Support is pretty responsive.
- Their DPP Portal lets us maintain our configuration but at times it is challenging.
- DPP Portal can be dumbed down for anyone to use it not just technical folks
- At times it is nice to speak to someone on phone for issues not just limited to emails
- For using API, we have to create an account for an individual. There should be a separate account for API which should be for the organization.

Privacy in Motion!
DataMotion Secure Email is used by my organization when sending and receiving private information from clients securely. It does not allow third parties to steal private information. My clients can send me tax returns, their social security numbers, dates of birth, etc. with no fear that unknown third parties may take this information and steal their identity or get credit in their names.

Shiny product that lacks a little back-end polish
The purpose of DataMotion Secure Email in our organization is to ensure all emails from our CRM are sent securely, giving the recipient control over their security practices.

Long-term satisfied customer
Two of us deal with PHI and other sensitive information as we troubleshoot health plan claims & authorization issues, and assist with Medicare coordination.
- They are a HIPAA business associate.
- By using separate secure messaging for all sensitive info, I am unlikely to accidentally share PHI or PII via my regular, unencrypted e-mail.
- Because we use the DataMotion site, there is no need for additional software.
- The search feature is very limited. I should say essentially useless.
- Recipients cannot tell when others have been copied.

Non headache inducing way to send secure documents!
DataMotion Secure Email is used by our company to receive important results regarding lab tests we run for our patients. It is a safe way to transmit important, sensitive, patient-related medical information that we can trust. It's extremely easy to use and doesn't slow down our [workday] when we are in the middle of treating patients. We have never had an issue with it and we appreciate how organized it keeps all of our files.

Our organization resulted in working remotely for all employees during this Covid-19 pandemic and sending and receiving confidential and personally identifiable data from our clients required a secure and protected environment. Great tool for reducing risk of exposure of email communications
DataMotion is being currently used in our organization to encrypt email messages and automatically monitor all our outbound emails. It is being used across the whole organization and has yielded great results. Through the extension of DataMotion across the whole company, it has greatly decreased the risk of exposure to our email communications and we are able to share data with great confidence.

Simple and Secure
Used when communicating with clients or other providers to make sure it is HIPAA-compliant and secure. Has been especially helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic since we are all working remotely and need to have encrypted communications with each other online.

Communication Appreciation
DataMotion is currently being used for prescription correspondence with pharmacies as well as for other medical data. Several workers in this department either initiate or receive this correspondence on a daily basis. It addresses issues with HIPPA compliance, as well as general confidential information transference. Since most companies are agreeable with this method, we have been able to take full advantage of DataMotion within our workflow.
- Delivers secure email in a timely manner. There is no waiting time.
- Provides read receipts with the receiver's information available. So we know who read it and when.
- We are able to use it in conjunction with our regular email system. This helps us to expedite responses while still keeping the message secure.
- It would be nice to be able to forward a message from the "Track Sent" folder without losing the previous timestamp (from, sent, subject). This way the receiver knows that I am adding to a previously sent and unread message.

Quick and Easy to send encrypted emails on demand.
We are using DataMotion SecureMail to send encrypted emails across the whole organization. It has done a great job of protecting our sensitive data and file attachments from data theft or accidental exposure of data. It is very easy to use and even encrypts large file attachments and keeps track of secure messages email messages and file attachements.

Simplifies and secures sending of emails
We use DataMotion SecureMail in our organization to send data to clients, track reports to manage and prevent internal hacking of passwords, and login IDs. It is used across the whole organization. The system security is powerful and flexible to allow us to customize as our needs change. The results after using the software have been favorable and have solved the problem we had of generating reports in our systems and delivering to clients through emails securely. It offers us better metrics and proof that files have been delivered in a timely manner. Our client services have improved and productivity increased.
