Yes. Our group now has a reputation for building applications quickly to track employee or other data compared to larger, more expensive solutions that need development teams or integrators. We built a COVID dashboard for leadership within a matter of days in 2020, and it is still used in our hospital 2.5 years later by leadership. We've turned around nurse scheduling applications, training, and demographic applications far more quickly than more traditional development projects. Our custom-built time reporting application has been used for a decade now, and the hours data is extremely helpful in determining how we're spending our time.

in the last year, two years, we've actually been able to fast track our inspection process just because of going from pen and paper, somebody reviewing it, somebody data entering it. Now our inspectors can directly enter their information as they're doing their inspection and be more mobile and not stuck behind a computer for half of their inspection. So it allows for more mobility of our end users and ease of use. So it's very easy for them to use and lot friendlier.

Right now, just because we're a smaller agency or district, It's great because we're, all of us in our agency, are able to use it and if someone has a problem or whatnot, I'm in house so they can, I can try to help them the best I can. So I haven't really had any other problems with it or anything like that.

like I mentioned before first we would have to understand what our clients wanted and then teach that to someone who would maintain it manually. But with Quickbase, you have the transcripts that go into it. I just have to click the client's name and then all of the details are there. So basically the automated version of it has been amazing.

So we've won several pro projects or bids competing against your more off-the-shelf or your larger ecosystem products. And Quickbase tends to be at minimum a third in speed as far as how much faster you can develop and it's also much faster in testing. So as customers one application looks very similar to the next so the testing and that rollout are so much faster as they grow their Quickbase ecosystem.

Yes, definitely faster. Like last December our third-party time management system went down all the pay and vacation requests and stuff. So, they were able to make an app in less than 48 hours and deploy it for the whole company. It worked perfectly. Everyone was able to use it. Very simple. So we love that about that.

For custom applications starting from scratch, it's actually easier. Like I was saying before, it's really easy to prototype something from scratch and quickly rather than other platforms that I've compared. Even power apps, it I use both. So it's easier to just prototype something in Quickbase. It's faster. Custom application, like custom code or code development, it's pretty much the same because you're developing your base in QuickBase faster, but you eventually have to write code to overextend it. So I wouldn't say it's faster than anything on that side of the house. To develop applications, we're not gonna be doing code development or using HTML or CSS or JavaScript pages - It's faster.

I would say yes. Most of it is studying the, you have to start by, I guess you could say getting an understanding Quickbase of that way you can build within the application. The way that we've established success is anytime we're building an app for a specific use case, we start by mapping out the process with a workflow. So a Visio document or something like that. And then you build the Quickbase application to mirror the. And when that happens, it tends to be a, very efficient process.

I do agree with it.I think that back to the ticketing system and connecting customers as well as departments, it can all happen in one location on this one software. So I think that it makes it really easy to flow. I just gotta work some of the kinks out.

Building and maintaining Quickbase apps really is a breeze. Making updates are generally quick and easy. I find that if you want to pull off a complicated process, there are times when Quickbase functionality is a bit limited. Sometimes a support tech will have a creative workaround. You can always submit feedback to the Quickbase builder team, but as an end user, I don't always feel like my feedback is being prioritized.

so in my previous job where I used it before, and that's where I really learned how to use it, was in my previous job. We had a project with a cell phone company that was attempting to try to figure out their location-based routing for 911 calls. So, what I was able to do was create an app in order to gather the data from our phone system, from the various nine one one centers that were in the pilot program and get six weeks data previous and then six weeks data post the implementation of location based routing. And then we continued that for another three months whenever they implemented all of the 911 centers in the county to that. The graphs, the charts, the dashboard, I was able to create and give to that cell phone company, it gave them the data that they couldn't gather on their end in order to say, this is a success. This is doing what we're asking it to do. We are reducing the calls going to the wrong 911 center that have to then be transferred. So they saw an immediate reduction, 30% reduction of transferred calls and things like that they used that to the cell phone company. The cell phone company said, yes, in fact, this is working the way that we wanted it. It went statewide and now it's national.

Yeah, so we've been getting a lot of bigger projects multi-year construction projects that are ever-changing as far as scheduling goes. And so it's been really helpful from a project management standpoint to have the tasks, have everybody keep on track of where we are, last contact, all that kind of stuff. So I think keeping track of those multi-tiered ways and then along with that, the financials and where they're gonna hit us in the year has been our newer aspect that we're working on.

Quickbase has been a very good choice for implementing workflows and its impact on operations financial impact. We have used QuickBase for over a year, and we are very satisfied with the value it has brought. We have better visibility across all data sets (Projects, financials, safety, etc.). It's an evolution, and we have made great strides in a small amount of time.

Our company does not use Quickbase for the sales or marketing departments. Trying to build new applications (such as inventory system) has been a challenge since we do not have a tech-savvy employee. I am not able to code , so some features are difficult to add on my own. I have been able to implement simplistic builds to the already set up platform that we have. However, I have great trouble building new applications from scratch.

Our company has groups developing QB in silos. We are working on creating a quarterly meeting for the User group to review best practices. We need to start there to make sure everyone is aware of the current functionality and who has been through some of the challenges that others are currently facing.

We have achieved this with some challenges as the design and framework take quite a bit of time to plan and set up, as well as the table relationships. The growing pains of setting up the platform will be greatly outweighed by the benefits of this tool.

QuickBase is designed to make building, deploying, and maintaining custom business applications faster and easier. My organization has definitely achieved this benefit by building, using, and managing applications quickly and easily. I was able to build and manage apps even though I don't have a lot of coding knowledge. Anyone can be trained to build apps through QB!

I think our organization has achieved this benefit. It is faster to build and kind of easy to maintain.
Upon request of our users, most applications are more complex than default features and functions. Therefore supporting and maintaining them is no longer that easy. Hope QuickBase will provide more tools for more advanced developers.

We did. We were able to build a custom-tailored, complex project management and databank within a couple of weeks versus months with IT support. It has become the cornerstone of all the work we complete.

I have built many apps and am a certified app builder. The apps can be built very simple or very complex. That being said, you don't have to have a lot of experience to create apps but with experience you can create just about anything.
