We use SAP Sales Cloud as a data warehouse / Sales CRM. It solves the integration issue via our internal dashboard. It minimizes double-entry work for our sales reps while also automating certain vital sales team functions, such as forecasting through AI. It also allows our marketing team to upload content to our sales team easily.
  • Forecasting automation.
  • Reporting and Analysis.
  • Data warehousing for sales.
Cons
  • Integration with 3rd party apps.
  • Expensive for small businesses.
  • Slow load time for certain pages.
For teams on the smaller side, I would not recommend SAP Sales Cloud as it is expensive for smaller teams and requires some customization for it to work for the business, which startups/smaller businesses typically do not have the time for. However, if you have time to dedicate personnel + time to customize it for your needs, it can work wonders for your marketing and sales teams.

Great product for collaboration.

We use SAP for a few reasons. We were looking to drive innovation as well as revenue growth. It also has the capability to improve our customer relationships. We weren't able to keep on top of our customer service needs as well before implementing SAP Sales Cloud. It has greatly improved many of our processes.
  • We can get all our reports in one platform.
  • The collaboration between teams.
  • There are great customization capabilities.
Cons
  • Occasionally, the loading time can be slow.
  • The training was a bit arduous, but once you get the hang of the process, it's pretty easy.
  • The customer service tickets could be responded to a bit faster.
The amount of automation you can use SAP Sales Cloud for is great. It streamlines many of our other software's processes. We use Hubspot as well as Sales Cloud and they work great together. It has greatly enhanced our ability to collaborate between sales and marketing. The analytics we can draw between the two has helped us put more prospects into our pipeline.

Integration features work seamlessly with real-time data from SAP Sales Cloud. The embedded analytics solution is one of the analytics platforms that have not received the deserved limelight. Very complex models of relationships can be handled by this tool, providing one unique story of KPIs. It also has so many features and so many configuration options and SAP constantly updates and maintains it. This is exactly what SAP Sales Cloud gives us; their user interface is so clear and concise. Whenever we have issues, the support team is of help too.
  • User interface is clear and concise.
  • Integration with real-time data.
  • SAP maintains and updates the platform.
Cons
  • Long loading times in some areas.
  • High pricing for small businesses.
  • The features for some items are limited.
Besides some cons, I think SAP Sales Cloud is a great tool for real-time integration. The support team is also excellent, incase of facing any kind of problem they can reach out to the team. SAP also maintains and updates the platform, so overall it is great to work with.

Straightforwardness in Sales Processes.

  • Effectiveness of integrations with real-time data.
  • Streamlined operations across supply management, logistics and finance.
  • Ease of leads retrieving and management.
  • Efficiency through workflows automation.
  • Accuracy of forecasting and planning.
Cons
  • Improvement on mobile phone applications(currently is slow).
  • Costs to be reduced.
SAP Sales Cloud has robust functionalities and high integration capabilities that make it a top choice for enhancing Sales processes. With its multiple customizing options, it's fit for any specific workflow and requirement. Its advanced analytics and actual reporting greatly help businesses to make data-driven decisions. We plan to go live with SAP sales cloud&CPQ at the beginning of June 2022. Our main problem is the sales order management side. Because our process is starting CRM (potential customer, activities, opportunities, etc). Then if our customer requires our products that means trailer, we convert opportunities as offers and click as won. Secondly, we can select sales offers inside the opportunity screen. Then we create an offer (quotation). When our customers accept our quotation, we can select the quote won and send this offer to the SAP ERP system. But when we can select quote won selection, we can create sales orders in C4C sales or CPQ system. And we want to manage sales order features in the C4C sales could or CPQ system. Because we have different processes for sales order management. For examples sales revision process, Sales retrofit process, Sales trailer logo process, sales addendum print out process, sales special retrofit request process, etc... And also, the other main problem is that the C4C sales and CPQ are running so slowly. When we configure a new product on the CPQ system, the system performance is so bad. And so much slower. I know that when we use it in real business life. our sales guys will complain about system performance.
  • I think that I explain my request previous message
  • The CPQ system is so much slower. Especially configure new product and on-screen transitions in the quotation (offer process)
Cons
  • We need sales order management side on C4C sales cloud.
When we configure a new product, CPQ is very slow. And when we select a new screen the CPQ loads the menus and our product features slowly.
