I use Slack in two different organizations I work in. We use it for Core Team communications and then sub-groups for other areas of the business. The core problems Slack addresses is having an instant communication channel to share information and company updates. Being able to share and process information in a central hub offers a lot more efficiencies compared to using email.

we use Slack for all internal communications between the departments of the company. We Love Slack!! We used to use Teams but I feel like Slack is way more efficient and doesn't crash as often. We also use the integrations with google calendar, Trello, google drive and Jira. Very great tool

We have been using Slack in our organization from past three years and it is indeed a great team collaboration and communication tool. While the world was in pandamic times and people were working from home, many organizations faced the issue for smooth communication with clients and teams. However, for us Slack helped in:
1. Real-time Communication: It provided a real-time messaging platform, allowing team members to communicate instantly, reducing delays in information sharing.
2. Remote Work Support: Slack is well-suited for remote work, It enabled our team members to connect from anywhere, which was especially important in that time's distributed work environments and even today's as well.
3. Channel-based Organization: We used the channels to organize conversations related to important projects, which helped to keep discussions and information structured and easily searchable.
4. Integration Capabilities: Slack offers a wide range of integrations with other tools and services, streamlining workflows and centralizing information. We integrated our slack with Google calendars, Trello and other project management tools which helped our client services team with more informed and structured projects management.
5. Privacy and Security: It provides tools for securing communication and data, helping organizations like ours meet their privacy and compliance requirements.

My product is an announcement app for Product Updates & Software Updates. Users can create their own widgets and changelog to publish posts and announcements. We also have a feature request, roadmap and NPS tool.

We use our product to align with different departments, create technical support tickets, and work on them with our technical team via using Threads, and integrated Slack with many different applications to streamline our product design process.

As we are a global company, we use it to collaborate across many time zones when we aren't able to actually meet. It is most useful when we need to communicate with APAC, Europe and the America's at the same time as usually one of us will be offline at least. As we mostly work from home these days, it is also essential for just day to day communication when a Zoom meeting isn't really needed.

We use Slack to update employees on changes made to products we use, as well as notify any problems that may be occurring tech wise. We also use Slack to communicate with peers one on one or to communicate within teams or even company wide. In addition, we also have Slack channels such as User Testimonials, where we can submit a form within Slack, which I feel is a great feature within the product.

We use it not only as a team chat for private and group communication, but also have coordination channels for short, middle and long term projects.
It has also helped us integrate the same dynamics with other companies that use Slack as well, making communication seamless across companies under a single platform.

Slack at my company is the main communication platform. Since 2019's pandemic, Slack has been essential on the home office format because is easy to use and has a lot of functionalities that help me communicate with my colleagues on my daily work routine. All the squad message groups, simple video calls and group messaging happens on Slack.

We use Slack for internal communications, to keep track of outgoing email campaigns (internally), but also as a log for the various automations we have set up (product out-of-stock notifications, new customer support tickets, etc.). We also use Slack as a command prompt to trigger some automations in a third-party app.

Since we all work remotely, we use Slack as a form of instant communication throughout the day. We are able to communicate with whoever we need to quickly, without having to wait for an email response. Our use of Slack has even evolved to having meetings over a Slack Huddle instead of Zoom or Google Meet.

I have been using Slack for the last 3 years on a project in which I am a freelancer. The company I collaborate with uses this software to manage communication between teams. We have some workspaces between different teams based on organizational division (i.e., marketing, design). Most written communication between team members is done inside Slack.

We use Slack as an internal-team productivity management tool. It allows us to create groups on various topics of interest and write, comment stuff on them. We use it to discuss our design, deployments and more. We can also create threads with topics as well and it allows one-to-messaging.

Slack is widely used in our company for instant communication, huddles and direct communication to specific groups through Slack channels. Using slack improves the communication with the team and helps us to be up-to-date with all relevant information for our business. Furthermore, Slack helps us to quickly resolve doubts or questions we have from different projects, as we can quickly reach out to anyone in the company and if things aren't clear enough, we can always hop in a quick huddle to clarify any questions.

I work at a university and our department uses Slack to decrease the number of emails in our inboxes. We use it to post work status updates, share news stories relevant to our work, connect with colleagues (both on-campus and remote employees), encourage collaboration, and more. If there's something that is meant to be a quick opportunity for discussion and collaboration, it goes on Slack. Otherwise, larger projects or messages that require more consideration, still go through email.

We are making all in-business communications with Slack. We have team chat groups, also we are voting for an event, sharing news about company for any kind of new activity, development or what else. Also, we are using huddle for in-corporate meetings. It is very successful tool for communication.

We use Slack to communicate internally with our team, which is very helpful for our remote employees who we would not be in such close contact with if we didn't have Slack. It ties to our calendars so we can see who is in a meeting or not, which is also helpful!
