Klaviyo is my platform for all things email, SMS, and lead gen. It's pretty obvious that email and SMS play huge roles in increasing customer LTV for businesses, so I won't even go into that part. My problem was finding the RIGHT platform. I've hopped from Mailchimp to Drip, to ActiveCampaign, to Omnisend, to ConvertKit, and now finally Klaviyo. None of the other platforms really met my needs very well, or they'd only do one thing really well while leaving out a bunch of other useful features. This is why I love Klaviyo. It seems to have everything. The segmentation is great, the flow builder is amazing, the integration with Shopify and apps is awesome, and now that they've added SMS, I can do both from one platform. One thing I REALLY love about Klaviyo is the fact that emails and SMS messages inflows can be segmented individually. You don't have to do an if/else branch or flow filter. You can add a filter to individual messages, which makes my life a million times easier. Although one thing that I will say needs improvement is SMS deliverability, especially for lead gens. When customers input their phone number for a discount code, I'd like the text to be delivered instantly. This happens with SMS platforms like Attentive and Postscript, but Klaviyo seems to take 2-3 minutes, which in the world of e-commerce is huge. Besides that, I don't see myself switching platforms anytime soon.

I will always recommend Klaviyo to eCommerce brands that tend to be on Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, etc. I probably wouldn't recommend it for SaaS companies as for deeper integration with your custom software you might want to go with an email API instead. It has a deeper learning curve than something like Mailchimp, but the potential is so much higher than I would recommend learning it from the get-go.

We work with large variety of small to medium sized businesses to build dynamic email marketing programs with a full array of automations, email campaigns at regular cadences, and list segmentation. It integrates with Shopify and Big Commerce which are the main platforms we support and helps us to automate revenue and engagement for our clients.

For eCommerce, it's a really nice package. From store integrations, a/b testing, dynamic content, to form captures, it's a strong solution for managing a growing email program. They also have a lot of prebuilt automations that can generically be turned on immediately and then improved/customized later on. There are some instances where it won't allow you to use certain data with personalized fields or triggers.

I love Klaviyo for how professional it looks and how easy it is to get up and running. We migrated from Mailchimp and importing our previous contacts was pretty easy, Klaviyo is great for an easy to setup no frills email marketing and sms marketing campaign that anyone can set up.

The native integration with Shopify makes Klaviyo the first choice of serious e-commerce marketers.
The main goal of the app is to increase the ROI by converting the customers who have abandoned their carts or has not made the purchase yet.
The segmentation ability allows us to send more targeted emails to subscribers and increase the revenue even more.

It automates all aspects of email marketing -- you can use it for targeted email campaigns based on previous actions of your subscribers, recovering abandoned carts, or creating sophisticated email campaigns based on rules and automations.
