Webex Calling is used for most of our company employees to make phone calls, video and webinars. Webex Calling is also used for screen sharing with our customers to provide a remote assistance.

Webex Calling is a perfect product for audio calls in an organisation. The instant messaging function is also very usefull.

We migrated to Webex Calling from an on-prem legacy solution, which was approaching end of life and suffering other supportability issues. This migration reduced ongoing support costs, brought us up to date and made us more agile as a business, offering employees mobility and not being tied to a desk or location for them to use Webex Calling.
  • Allows use across multiple devices
  • Collaboration tool for use across multiple Organisations
  • Excellent audio quality from any device
  • There has been a service impacting event with the cloud on 1 occasion.
  • More updates to integration with Webex Meetings
There aren't many areas where Webex Calling won't add value. It can be used in almost any device and as such gives the end user ultimate choice and flexibility. Wanting to be always connected is achieved via having the Webex app on a smart phone thereby having almost single number reach functionality.

We use this for our paging system, intercompany dialing, and outside calling. We use both desk phones, as well as the Webex phone app. The primary use is general phone calls, incoming and outgoing.
  • App integration
  • Being able to check your voicemail remotely (EASILY!)
  • Able to make phone calls on my cell phone using WiFi since the office does not get good reception
  • App does not always connect
  • Cell phone continues to ring after I pick up my desk phone
  • Ring duration on cell phone app can be short, leading to missed calls
Webex Calling is a great tool if your office does not receive good reception. I have noticed that this is the case in many older manufacturing buildings. The app/phone has caller ID for screening calls. The quality has been very good, which is a must when calling and dealing with customers and new prospects.

We use it for business meetings with people within and out the company as it offers an easy to use platform even for users without a webex account
  • Connect with people even outside the company
  • Delete call chats to keep data protection
  • Keep track of the people in the call
  • Use emojis to show reactions to a speech
  • It feels like it uses too many resources for the video and so, when you have another program open that requires internet connection, it lags
  • I'd love to have the option to hide all people at the meeting except for the speaker when the screen is being shared
  • Is it possible to create some kind of check that appears when all the people has gotten into the meeting? Like a small virtual light of "ok, we are all here, let's start" so we don't have to be counting on big events with 20 or more people
Calls where people may be moving so they can connect with the mobile app and not only when they have access to a laptop as it happens with other programs

Webex Calling is currently used to make calls to extensions or Mobile phones (PSTN). Very Powerful to make calls in any direction we want. Currently, I have integrated Webex Calling into Ms Teams, and All calls are routed via Webex Calling, can do conferences, and transfer easily with Webex Calling
  • Route Call, we can set worker number, mobile phone, Webex URI
  • Group Management Call is Powerful
  • Auto Attendant flow for design easily
  • All call activity can be an analyze by control hub
  • All feature basic call available in control Hub (Pilot , VM , Queue , Pickup)
  • Single Number Reach
  • PSTN Redundancy
  • PSTN Order , for SIP Trunk
The Best Scenario: With hierarchy call Webex Calling (Work Phone, Mobile Phone, Webex Address), we can flexible call with another college, and we can mobile to another location without worry about not being connected with the Phone.

Webex Calling helps me to connect with our Prestigious multiple clients at the same time, I am pretty impressed with the voice quality and Conference call. I used this platform for multiple purposes including client meetings on Webex and Calling through a video chat, voice chat, or text. Webex plays a major role to spread my business. I will highly recommend this software to others whether it's a small or huge business. It's easy to use and more user-friendly. If you can compare it with other similar software, believe me, you will find Webex better than others. Hats off to the creator for making such an amazing software.
  • Video Call
  • Conference Meeting
  • Share attachment
  • Chatt Option
  • Functions are little difficult to understand at first time
  • Overall Experience was too good
I am working in a software house where we dealt with numerous clients like for web design & Development, SEO, Social Media Marketing, Content writing and Mobile Application, some time we need to schedule a meeting for a long period and that time I believe this is the best platform to call customer, Because I never found any distortion call was very smooth.

It is one of several calling platforms - in addition to Teams and Zoom - it depends on the use case which platform is deployed. Internal vs External or Panel Interview, prospect vs customer calls etc.
  • Clear (depending on internet)
  • Intuitive
  • Functional
  • Playing catch up with Zoom
  • Outdated interface
  • Not as widely deployed
If the other party also uses it it’s much more easier. As with all these internet based calling apps, those that are lightweight tend to function better.

Webex Calling was the program that we leveraged for all virtual calls throughout the company, prior to moving everything to MS Teams. Calls could range from large team meetings, 1:1s and collaboration sessions. Being a global team, this was used before the pandemic, but during covid, this product became integral to allowing business to keep moving along and we were already used to it.
  • Ability to join via phone in the event that you don't have internet connection
  • Providing call in numbers and local global numbers
  • Chat feature allows you to communicate with the whole group or just one member if needed.
  • Background options if you want to block out your real background
  • The ability to assign additional owners in case you can't be there to manage the call and its features (i.e., recording)
  • Easy to make updates to the settings of an already scheduled meeting.
  • Let's you know when someone has joined the call (makes a sound for each person)
  • It might be that we didn't have this package, but transcription capabilities were not included.
  • Sometimes, using Webex Calling would make my computer and other programs run slow
  • If screens were being shared, it required a lot of bandwidth and sometimes froze or glitched.
I thought Webex Calling was an appropriate tool for any virtual conversations that needed to be had, especially during the pandemic when everything shifted to the virtual space. Webex Calling is what enabled us to continue running workshops with client groups when we couldn't be in a physical location.

I use Webex Calling as a Collaboration tool. I can use this app in order to make calls, send a recieved Webex Meeting and also to connect to other person out of the company by Webex (if he/she has it). Webex Calling also is useful to call people from my PSTN without any issue!
  • Call people inside or outside the company
  • Webex Meeting
  • Chat and collaborate with other members of the team
  • Sharing content is fine however sometimes the share content is a little bit tiny, the zoom option does not appear easily
  • When you receive and internal call and this person call you with video camera on, this call activate your camera. There is an option to disactivate it but it is not so easy to find it.
  • When you are in a Webex Meeting sometime is not easy to find the windows chat.
Webex Calling is well suited on the following scenarios:
Share content with your team and others people outside the organization.
Making internal and external (PSTN) calls.
Schedule Webex meeting with your team and others.
Webex Calling is less appropriate for small companies that not need to share or make IP VoIP calls.

Webex Calling is used throughout our organization for meetings and collaboration. Our university adopted it during the pandemic to continue remotely with lessons and seminars. In particular, Webex Calling has made it possible to solve problems related to the number of people who had to connect to the same meeting or lesson.
  • Webex Calling allows you to set up a call queue. This way, when calls are unanswered, callers are automatically answered. This becomes very useful for being able to communicate with many students remotely.
  • It allows you to create a paging group so that users included in the group (in our case, our students) can send an audio message to a specific person or the entire class group.
  • Webex Calling allows you to set specific times to receive calls. In this way, we can prevent our students (especially those who live in other time zones) from contacting the teachers of the class group at unwanted times.
  • The graphics can be significantly improved. Sometimes it isn't easy where to click to access a specific call.
  • Webex Calling (as well as other Cisco Webex software) crashes frequently. This makes communication difficult.
  • There is room for improvement for common chat features. It is sometimes difficult to manage internal communications when there are many callers.
Webex Calling is an interesting software that allowed (and continues to allow) us to connect and interact directly with our students remotely. During the most challenging moments of the pandemic, it was fundamental. But even today, it allows us to follow students in other parts of the world or who need not physically come to the University. However, it occasionally crashes, making communications difficult.

Webex Calling is one of the best solutions out there for an efficient, easy and effective communication. We use Webex Calling as an extension of our chat feature. We use it as a backup tool for chats and calls with our customers and colleagues. Webex Calling is an easy product to use with an intuitive user interface and settings menu. It is also more convenient than ever to connect with customers and colleagues in a simple and cost-effective way. Webex Calling provides call bridge that allows us to talk to any team member around the globe with the click of a button. We can also use this tool for online meetings.
  • Video Conferencing, Screen Sharing, and Chat
  • Makes it easy for teams to collaborate across different locations
  • It also works with other popular apps like Slack, Google Drive, and Dropbox that allow for seamless integration of work tasks.
  • Should have a better feature of recording meetings.
  • Should have a better integration with other platforms like Salesforce and Google.
  • Mobile Video calling
Webex Calling is a great tool for remote workers and freelancers. It's also great for people who are not in the same location and need to collaborate on a project or share screens.Webex Calling is an easy-to-use product that can be used for a variety of different scenarios. For example, it is great for remote workers and freelancers because they can attend meetings from home with their laptop or phone. Webex Calling can also be used by people who are not in the same location and need to collaborate on projects or share screens during those meetings. But it is not as good for things like brainstorming because the other person can't see your facial expressions and you can't see theirs most of the time. There are things that are better done in-person.

Webex in our organizations is utilized for video conference or audio meetings with customers and partners to foster relationships and develop our business. Webex integrates with my email and makes it easy to send meeting invitations to first time contacts or individuals we are regularly meeting with. It has solved the problem of only utilizing phone calls for connecting with customers and creates a much more conjoined effort to meet for both parties.
  • Video Calling
  • Audio Calling
  • Email Invitation Format
  • Provide more features at different price points
  • Ease of use for beginners
  • Intricate User Interface
Webex Calling is suitable if you are having consistent calls or presentations with customers, and you need a straightforward "meeting invite" application. It has features such as background noise removal and background images so if you find yourself in need of more privacy in a meeting it has great features. Webex Calling would not be suitable if you find yourself not speaking to individuals on a daily basis or have another methodology of connecting with your personal team.

We use Webex Calling for conference calls, usually involving large groups. Since our organization has a Cisco subscription to the service, Webex Calling is preferred to free software with limited functionalities, like the free version of Zoom. As I mentioned, we prefer using Webex Calling for large groups but not for one-on-one calls. The ability to create meeting links and allow guests to join is a plus. I usually use Webex Calling as a meeting organizer within my organization and especially for outside calling, since the ability to allow guests is an important functionality. I also like the fact that Webex can be integrated with Outlook, so that meetings can be setup directly via using Outlook.
  • Ability to create meeting links
  • Allowing outside users to join
  • Handles large groups well
  • Interface could be better
  • Desktop app is hard to navigate
Webex Calling is well suited for large group calls as it seems to handle them quite easily. Webex Calling is also good when people are joining from outside the organization. One more thing we have noticed in our organization is that when compared to MS Teams, Webex Calling seems to use less bandwidth. This comes in handy when we are calling colleagues from areas with lower internet bandwidth. Webex Calling is less user friendly than some other software out there. The interface can do with a refresh.

  • The calls to another users.
  • The notifications when someone try contact you, and you are offline
  • I think Webex Calling need improve the mute and unmute time
  • User interface need be more friendly for users
  • The calendar with more options for watch the months complete
Webex Calling it is an excellent software for calls and videoconferences, but for support to remote users, I think need improve some features like the take control of another device in a call.

Webex Calling is one of the collaboration tools my team prefers for e-meetings and cross-location presentations. It offers one of the cleanest and easy-to-understand interfaces, consistent experience across devices, and features that are very user-friendly.
  • Seamless transitions among devices (laptops to mobile and the other way round)
  • Nifty features like meeting attendance etc.
  • Integration with existing enterprise communication suites like Office 365 etc.
  • More control over video
  • Way to save chats in a meeting especially when you are on external network
  • Reliability and performance of android app (phone heating up excessively during calls)
Webex Calling is very well suited in scenarios where collaboration is required among teams from multiple locations, time zones etc. Its usability across device types helps in a big way. More beneficial on an Enterprize level where it is a part of a larger VoIP solution for the entire organization replacing legacy communication/telephonic services. To nitpick, not ideal for a call on mobile that may last over an hour or so as that severely affects the phone's performance.

We've been using Webex Calling since lockdown. It may not be visually appealing or colorful, but Webex Calling is number one when it comes to performance. Its simplicity and rich features immediately attracted me. Getting used to the menu's layout and where essential features are located is easy. Calls can be initiated immediately without a time limit. Group rooms allow you to talk with multiple people at once. For longer sessions and more accessible features, Once you list the dates for which it should be automated, a scheduled meeting can either be a one-time use or a repetitive one. When you use Webex Calling, you can share your screen during a meeting. In addition to improving quality, running both simultaneously allows for easier collaboration. Webex Calling uses secure cloud systems, allowing you to share confidential data without worrying about leaks and hacks.
  • Secured file sharing with it's cloud systems
  • Automated schedule and group meetings/calls.
  • Screen sharing on call
  • call quality and pricing
  • Nothing major but the UI can be little better in terms of design. UX is fine though.
  • Takes too much bandwidth on large/group calls. Audio feels choppy sometimes.
  • Android app is terrible and too buggy
As I mentioned earlier, group rooms allow you to talk with multiple people at once. Which is really useful and I am sure most organizations would love to use that. For longer sessions and more accessible features, Webex Meetings & Calling has scheduled meetings as well as calls. Also, you can share your screen during a meeting which makes it much more collaborative. We share a lot of confidential files without worrying about leaks and hacks. If your bandwidth is low then you might find it a little difficult to use, the audio/video feels choppy and laggy.

I am pretty much using Webex Calling every week or twice a week depending upon season and project communication proority. We are using Webex Calling for customer meeting with large audiance and it is perfectly suited at this moment. It is easy to present and share onformation to large audiance.
  • Large audiance call
  • share content
  • Calling subscriptions for telephony users
  • It would be better if a user get information about any new updates or new features added in timely manner.
  • Time limit
  • mute or unmute causes a tone --> distraction
For large audiance it is appropriate and also use telephone for telephony user is particularly useful feature / subscription. Communication or meeting of collaborative work between orgazations is appropriate to use. The calling fatures and other options in the front pannel is pretty handy to use. I like the features used in this application pretty much as seen other video conferencing application in the market.

Webex Calling is without a doubt, one of the biggest meetings & collaboration tools we use at our company, but while it is great, and especially secure, it is not our company standard for communications.
  • Security is well designed
  • Recording a call is simple and easy
  • High quality sound and video
  • Pro version is very expensive compared to alternatives
  • Slowest of our communication tools to boot up
I think Webex Calling is a great tool, especially for a company that does have international calls quite frequent. The user interface is simplistic, but streamlined, leading to a user favorite, to be utilized from anywhere in the world.

For the non-pro version, there are much better alternatives in the market. We experience a lot of slowness in joining calls/meetings.

Webex Calling is the default chat and telefonie app in our organisation, it's a mandatory tool for all colleagues. Status sharing is optional, but most of the colleagues are using it too. We can say, that it's one of our main tools, our collaboration hub between the teams and colleagues.
  • chat
  • call
  • status sharing
  • design
  • speed
  • easy settings
The chat function is good, I really like it, much more then in some other similar tools. Calling functions are okay too, maybe there's some room for improvement in speed, but not that bad.. The settings menu is, I think a bit messy, I have too search a lot for some little settings.

Our whole company, which has offices spread across multiple geographies, uses Cisco Webex Calling. By using this, we can save a lot of money. It is a fantastic tool for communication and is quite dependable for making calls. It's really secure and safe. We don't have to be concerned about our information ever getting out. Every day, we have a number of online meetings with our customers, all of which are conducted using Cisco Webex. There are many reasons why we use Cisco Webex Calling. The integration of Cisco Webex Meetings and our in-house phone system was the driving driver behind the migration to Cisco Webex Calling. We moved to Cisco Webex Calling in order to maintain the trend of relying less and less on our on-site data center. Cost reductions were the last, but not the least significant to us. Due to Cisco Webex Meetings' extensive feature set compared to Skype for Business, which was previously used, it has been fully removed.
  • Integrations with Webex Teams and Meetings.
  • Access to an enterprise landline from anywhere.
  • Webex customer service and support are excellent, allowing you to fully rely on Cisco for complete product details and specifications.
  • Establishing connections between internal and external clients globally
  • The mobile app could use some work with regard to the integration of calendars.
  • It would be fantastic to see any improvements made to the control of background noise, regardless of the headsets that are being used and regardless of the devices.
  • Changing user locations requires removing their license. After changing location, re-licensing is possible. Voicemail and call settings are lost.
  • Multiple domain and ADFS login flexibility is missing.
Companies must have a telephone system that is dependable, adaptable, and cost-effective to face the reality of the modern hybrid workplace. I believe Webex Calling provides a robust Cloud platform that not only empowers users but also makes IT staff pleased. In reality, deploying and maintaining a Webex Calling system is simple, enabling your staff to concentrate on more critical company issues. And you will likely save money as well. Plus, if you have developing demands, such as a contact center, the easy and potent integrations make it even more appealing.

I have used Webex Calling within the Division of family and Children Service. I have also use Webex calling at Albany State University as a student. We used Webex Calling more now at work since pandemic to have our weekly meeting and all staff meeting. I think it's more convenient because you don't have to wait for everyone to meet in one room, we're able to start meeting on time, you are able to log on to the meeting 15 to 10 minutes earlier just to make everything work correctly. I can actually say I love it for work. I have also used the Webex Calling at school with few instructors to do a one-on-one meeting, and tutor. I have one instructor that use it daily for the online students to see when he teaches the in-person students. I think it's very helpful for the instructor to the Webex Calling for class because it allows us to go back look at it later. I think Webex Calling is good to invest in for school, work or own business.
  • You able to see the person or people you talking to in a clear view.
  • You able to use it for work or school.
  • You are able to teach a class on Webex Calling and to be able to see the entire class.
  • To translate the word exactly what the person is saying better
  • To freeze up less
I think Webex Calling is well suited for a teacher to used why teacher class so the online students can see. It may be helpful them if it's something they don't understand until they go back and look. I'm a witness to it been helpful when it something you don't understand until you go back and watch the video.

Webex is used mainly for all employees who work remote so they can call from their computer.
  • Stability in loading on computer
  • Search by name of people in company to call
  • One touch calling
  • Initial setup needs instructions
  • Tutorial on how to find or import contacts after first use of Webex required
  • Not easy to find voicemail
Great for direct calling coworkers although Microsoft Teams has been better for daily use, calls and messaging in my opinion.
