What is InsideSales Playbooks?

InsideSales Playbooks (formerly XANT Playbooks) aims to help SDRs and AEs quickly build closeable pipeline, by helping salespeople get a hold of more of the right people. InsideSales.com uses their A.I.-platform called Neuralytics to target likely buyers combined with their cadence engine to help sales reps consistently engage all of their prospects in a personalized way.

Just like Waze from Google helps drivers get to their destination quickly based on the data from other drivers, Neuralytics uses the collective knowledge of the Insidesales.com user base to help build the sales pipeline quickly. For example, Neuralytics can reveal phone number or email address for a prospect is best, or the best time to call or email, based on the experience of others. Predictive Playbooks uses Neuralytics to gives sales reps an edge over their competition.

The Cadence engine works for small or large teams, global teams, and international calls. The product also conveniently syncs all activity data back to your CRM. Since sales reps only spend 18% of their time in CRM, it also works outside a CRM, wherever salespeople work.


InsideSales is an Aurea company, since the August 2021 acquisition.

The dashboard takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it is not too bad. There is no mobile functionality which is unfortunate. Often times we've had issues with Chrome crashing or Playbooks not working after updates. And we've seen our browsers slow down quite a bit. Overall though the extension helps us keep InsideSales.com top of mind as we use SalesForce throughout the day.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty close to it! Outside of the lag times when integrated to your web browser, the product overall is very easy to use. You won't need a lot of training to use this product.

Insidesales.com Predictive Playbooks gets a high grade because the proof is within my results. Increasing my daily productivity, as well as the ultimate client outcome is what drives my day. This program helps that objective. The browser extension needs to have options on where else it could be placed for easier screen viewing.

I think it's a very simple and intuiting tool to use for every day prospecting activity. If I need to knock out an email campaign, I know I can do it easily through playbooks. If I need to make a few phone calls this is a great tool. It might not be as good if there are a lot of calls to make it one day.

The browser extension for InsideSales.com Predictive Playbooks is great and easy to use. I have it up every time I am using Salesforce. It is very easy to make my calls and send emails directly through the browser extension. The browser extension has a simple layout that makes it easy to work through your day.

I think it's a great platform and layout. The 'plugin' style was new to me, but I've adapted to work with it. There's definitely room for improvement, but for a newer innovative solution, it's a winner in my book. We will 100% continue to utilize it for our outreach with the goal of making contact and booking meetings.

The ISDC tool integrates very well into the Salesforce CRM tool. I like how it sits on top of the window and still allows you to view the lead along with relevant information in SFDC while in a call with the customer within Playbooks. The main area for improvement here would be allowing the tool to use in other browsers besides Google Chrome.

I use it everyday, it keeps me on track. The browser extension helps when I want to see how my email may look when it is sent. Just seeing how your email will look from the prospect/customers point of view makes it more personable and provides confidence in sending the email.

The browser extensions ease of access and simple integration with our Salesforce CRM makes using the Playbooks program perfect for my lead development role here. I have a ton of favorites saved on my computer and this programs accessibility as a Chrome extension ensures it is the first thing I open with my CRM.

I have used probably close to 100 different sales programs in selling all different kinds of products, I have made sales having to write on paper; the browser extension is a great tool that allows you to multi-task and be able to complete several different things at the same time. Greatly increasing productivity and reducing unnecessary time in seeking information that is now found in one place - the Browser Extension.

I would rate it at this point based on how easy it was for me to learn how to use it as well as help others get on board as they came into the company. There are ways to test plays and it easily labels things, also having issues with any of the tool the support is great and will take care of you.

As stated earlier, the neuro score has been helpful on a few of my reach outs to customers. I do not have much of my notable events to help me speak to anything within my territory. The overlay feature of ISDC on SFDC is helpful to be able to call and pull up the information of the customer, contact, deals, and notes while staying all on the same screen.
