    I think ActiveCampaign is very useful for setting up newsletters, forms, and automated responses that are nicely branded, with good functionality. It's also useful if you are starting small and want something both inexpensive to get started but also very scaleable as you grow. Do use the double security because I got a lot of spam through forms, even with a captcha.

    Zoho CRM is well suited as one solution and works best (in my opinion) if you are committed to the Zoho suite of products with which it integrates seamlessly. If there are other solutions being used for some or all of the functionality provided by Zoho CRM, there is likely to be redundancy, and there may be issues with integration.

    ActiveCampaign

    • Contact management is robust and reliable, and provides all the capabilities I was looking for.
    • Marketing automation takes a little figuring out, but it's easy to learn and easy to use.
    • Deals are highly customizable and incredibly easy to use. I love that you can use it to create all kinds of workflows, not just sales pipelines.
    • Training videos and webinars are top notch. I've learned a lot from them and always appreciate the email notifications when a new video/webinar is available.

    • The email designing part could be easier to use. There are certain simple shortcuts that don't work, for example, adding links is more complicated than it should be, moving blocks around is hard, etc.
    • There's no good way to filter by 'active' and 'inactive' subscribers when editing en-mass.
    • I'd like more reporting data on one page.

Their support team through LIVE CHAT has been extremely fast and helpful. The monthly meetings provided with the enablement team has helped us through several large and urgent needs.

    Compared to our previous CRM, Zoho is a breeze. I can look up customers and reports with no issue. There are times when it may be difficult to find something, but I assume that is because I am not in Zoho every day like the sales team is. It does everything we need very simply, so I would definitely recommend it to others.

    Reliability and Availability

    I haven't experienced application errors or unplanned outages at all. Active Campaign is ultra reliable and I would not be using them if that were the case. Also, the helpful emails they send are welcomed and informative, and present very practical tips and guidance for using the platform. They're always demonstrating new features and I'm thankful for that.

    Oh my gosh, Active Campaign's performance gets an A+++ in my book. The pages load quickly and so do the reports. I haven't noticed any slowdowns when it's integrating with other programs and it performs excellently on all levels.

    This might be the best part. The chat support lady offered to make a video to help me solve my problem. I worked in customer service for years and I've never done that, lol. So, if they're offering things like that, I can only imagine that they'd be able to handle most any issue you throw at them.

    We did the training and that was a huge waste of money. The information provided was basic and the instructor was sloppy (he even forgot to turn off his mic when he used the restroom - no one should ever hear what we heard). I offered up a 9 because we were able to find what we needed on your website.

    I feel like our implementation went smoothly, certainly better than I had expected. We did run into some issues (which is inevitable when you are implementing it inhouse rather than engaging an external team) but we were really happy with the quality of support we received from Zoho. Whenever we raised an issue to their support team, they either provided us the resolution on the spot or got back to us with an answer in a very acceptable time frame. We were also very happy with the amount of customization Zoho offered in setting up the CRM to the way we needed it to work. Lastly, training our users on it was a smooth experience as well. Zoho has a very detailed help section and their support team is always available.

    I felt like ActiveCampaign had the most features for the value I was expecting. I looked at other reviews just like this to see whether it would meet my needs. I also considered price. As a startup, I wanted to make sure I could have a platform that could grow to what I needed it to be without paying too much at the beginning.

    I have explored Zoho Social and Zoho Sign with a free trail account to understand the capabilities and have taken some insight. I have shared these insight with marketing team and leadership team to evaluate these options for marketing automation and contract signing ease . managing contracts is critical and doing this with a digital signature can save a lot of time and money.

    My web designer told me about Active Campaign and although I don't recall which platform I had before, I LOVE Active Campaign and its user friendliness. The transition was seamless and I've never had a problem with functionality or server failure.
    Active Campaign provides so many features, and makes it easy for non-techies to maneuver around the site with ease. They capture information and put it in an easy-to-read format.
    At this point, I don't think I'd ever use any other platform!

    • ActiveCampaign saved us thousands of dollars over our previous CRM platform.
    • We are able to track leads through the sales pipeline, seeing exactly how much our efforts are bringing in.
    • We are able to provide better customer service by quickly responding to forms completed on our website no matter the time/day.
    • We can run reports to find areas we may be deficient in marketing or sales, and also see our strengths, which is important to our C Suite.
    • ActiveCampaign Automations save us a significant amount of time.

    • We had Zoho CRM early on when it wasn't quite as robust as it is now, so there have been vast improvements, which also puts us at a disadvantage for falling into old ways of doing things rather than exploring new ways that we always wanted in the beginning.
    • One thing we were able to do is get rid of MailChimp and slowly migrate to Campaigns
    • Eventually I would like to migrate Zoom to Meeting but it's just not quite there yet.
    • Also, I do have to say going just from the CRM to Zoho One was a VAST improvement where many apps were available. At first, I was so disappointed in the CRM but with all the integrations it's been so much better!
