BlueJeans had the option to view many speakers at the same time earlier than others, e.g. Microsoft Teams.
BlueJeans is very easy to use for external users /newbies.
BlueJeans does support integration of our existing Lifesize systems.
Performance was in our experience better than with Cisco Webex.
When using BlueJeans on room systems or on your home computer - in any case access was easy to establish.

Although GoToMeeting has more features and probably benefits. We were looking to save money and switched to BlueJeans. Interestingly enough, GoToMeeting did offer us a discount once we told them who we were switching to, but to us that frustrated us even more. If they can be more competitive with price they need to do that before we switch. I'm glad our Verizon rep had us try BlueJeans.

We had evaluated Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and BlueJeans for our meeting requirements and after careful consideration, chose BlueJeans. The deciding factors were better audio and video quality as compared to other alternatives, better security, and ease of use. BlueJeans was missing certain features (such as custom background, etc.), which were supported by some of the other alternatives, but now it has rolled out many of these missing features.

BlueJeans is more cost effective than other options, and it is easier to use than other similar platforms, and that saves us training time for new users. It allows us to reuse videoconference equipment and helps us to stream to social media through the Facebook Live feature, which has increased our audience.

BlueJeans is reasonably close to Zoom. I do not have a paid account with Zoom, so I prefer BlueJeans when setting up a scheduled meeting. The app is very intuitive and feels relatively non-invasive. I like the phone-in service provided. We have used this quite a lot for clients with no internet connections. Thank you for everything you are continuing to do. We look forward to any new developments.

I know BlueJeans through a customer (Inchcape) and I prefer the design, stability and security.
For events I use WebinarJam, I've never used BlueJeans Events in order to compare.

What I like about BJ vs others, is the easy way to handle users, audio quality. Sometimes when I need to use other brands because of customer meetings, I do not feel comfortable, as the access to menu or settings are not easy to use.

BlueJeans is head and shoulders above all other VC products we evaluated including MS Teams.

Functionality does exist in the other platforms which we would like to see on BlueJeans but not at the expense of the quality service we currently receive.

I would say BlueJeans is just like Zoom. Same features, same reliability. Some of our clients prefer BlueJeans because of security issues, which Zoom has fixed, but still, they prefer to be in the safe zone.

Against Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans is much better. Has the features we need for our training sessions and Teams has been a nightmare.

To be truthful, at the time I started using BlueJeans, I evaluated it against Lifesize and Webex; I chose BlueJeans more for the possibility of connecting 100 participants, though I liked the feature that I could dial out to IP Addresses, room systems, and Webex Meetings from Lifesize; the downer was that the moderator could not mute the video of other participants (which is true even today). Zoom came in a little later, but I found limited layout controls, and I did not like the fact that those with their video off still had an equal-sized window. So, while there are still some key features BlueJeans lacks, I find that amongst all the options available, it suits my needs better.

I chose BlueJeans for the integration with Polycom and Cisco Room systems. The audio quality and Dolby rooms have kept us with the service.

We reviewed Zoom; however, we found the interface and experience is more refined with BlueJeans.
Update: With the explosion in the use of online meetings during COVID-19, Zoom has become the benchmark for video conferencing platforms. While I still feel BlueJeans offer a better user interface, it lacks many features that is expected from online meetings.

Zoom and Webex work pretty well, and I would say those are my top three choices. BlueJeans seemed to be the best fit for us with the price point package they offered. The only downside is that I feel like the other two are more widely used at this time and therefore easier to get folks onboard with.

BlueJeans was friendlier to use vs. Webex, but falls short in comparison to Zoom and Hangouts. Zoom has a much lower barrier to entry to use with non-tech saavy people. Hangouts Meet had a better and more seamless integration with the G suite apps egosystem (obviously).

As an BlueJeans admin, it was more clunky and difficult to navigate the web portal vs. the others.
