At present, the organization has deployed the payroll and benefits modules of Ceridian Dayforce. In addition, the organization integrates Ceridian Dayforce with other internal human capital management applications (including SuccessFactors) as well as external benefits vendor applications. Ceridian Dayforce has positively impacted employee and manager self service in the organization.

Hiring employees and setting health benefits updating tax information was a simple process. Compensation was part of the new hires. Annual change in salary was also easy. The benefits compensation setting was simple and user-friendly.

I really enjoy having one platform that can perform all functions if we so choose to use them. the scheduling application in Ceridian Dayforce has been a wonderful addition to our organization. We are able to input schedules and open shifts weeks in advance and employees can pick up shifts that they are interested in working. It has helped tremendously filling shifts and improving our scheduling.

Since everything is in one place, we are able to look at things more quickly and accurately. Currently we do not use Ceridian Dayforce for all of our HR needs (hiring specifically) but we are really looking into it since we've realized how easily it has increased our efficiency for other things.

We haven't had the ability to use much on the HRIS side of things. For us, Dayforce is primarily a payroll system with some of the HRIS things bundled in.
For us, the custom reports have given us the best view for hiring, scheduling, and compensation.

Ceridian makes all employee management easy, from initial hire to employee management, promotions, transfers, up to employee termination or retirement. The capabilities of the system have increased our productivity and allowed us to innovate by thinking of new customizations or even better and faster ways to solve issues, especially with the help of custom reporting to audit anything from holiday pay to union status.

We really haven't seen a benefit in decision support compared to our other application but are working on this feature now. We are excited for the new release that is expected to enable access to our data from tools like Microsoft BI and Tableau. This feature should make reporting much quicker and provide us with an easier means to access our data.

It has been very beneficial to have one location to complete (most) HR functions. There are still a few other resources that we utilize to store associate records. One example of this is background checks. When we are researching terminations for unemployment cases, we are able to predominantly utilize the associate file on Dayforce to build our cases but there are some pieces of information that are not able to be housed in Dayforce itself.

The software has served as an effective, efficient hub, or one-stop-shop, for all personnel information I ever need to access. Whether I'm considering someone for a promotion, factoring COLA, considering merit raises, processing terminations, tracking personnel leave, or conducting performance evaluations, I can work efficiently knowing all the information I need is with Ceridian Dayforce.

A seamless movement from recruiting to transitioning them to an active employee and their record from the beginning of their candidate/employment process to their constant employment updates or termination is well received in our organization. Allowing for the indication of a current employee who is applying for a position within the organization is handy, as it does allow us to identify these individuals and ensure they do get priority as we like to hire from within.
