Sprout Social is our main program for social media management and analytics. By allowing us to house all of our content distribution in one application it saves us time across the board when it comes to social media scheduling and analytics. It also allows for us to engage on each platform with potential and current audiences for each of our clients.

Are you on all of the major social media platforms? Sprout Social is your scheduling tool. It makes cross-platform posting simple. They give you peak times and character counts and now that they’re integrated with Canva, you hardly have to leave the application. The analytics can be as simple or as robust as you choose.

We use Sprout Social for our social media accounts to send out information from a centralized platform. Our social media reports are being generated through Sprout Social. It cuts down on workload. We have more than 20 content creators on the team and it is used across the whole organization.
  • Monthly Reports.

Cons
  • Pricey compared to other platforms.
  • There are some capabilities that are hard to find and figure out how to use.
  • The interface is not user-friendly.
For organizations with multiple social media accounts and teams with more than 10 people, it would be a good decision to use Sprout Social. If there are only one or two social media accounts, then Sprout Social might not be the best option based on its price.

We use Sprout Social in our marketing dept to manage all of our location pages. It helps consolidate everything into one place so we don't have to switch between social media pages.

  • You can't get posts approved by multiple people.
Sprout is wonderful for a small staff to manage multiple pages.

Sprout Social made it easier to precisely analyze and improve our social versus other platforms with many channels.

Sprout Social is a good platform to use when measuring social impact and engaging with your users/customers. When scheduling/managing multiple social campaigns on various social platforms (it connects well to those platforms). If your company is smaller, it may not be worth using.
