CRM software helps users store, organize, use, and share customer information. Common features of CRM software include contact organization, sales pipeline management, email templates, and automatic logging for contact interactions. Many CRM products include additional features, such as sales and marketing automation, customer support systems, and data analytics. Sales and marketing teams use CRM software to keep track of contact information, manage the flow of prospects through the sales pipeline, and maintain consistent communication with leads and customers. By doing so, sales and marketing teams can centralize contact data collection and streamline the sales cycle.
In the past quarter more than 23,600 professionals used TrustRadius to evaluate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products—at least 2,172 of them were from enterprise companies with more than 1,000 employees. Visitors evaluating CRM products were most curious about comparing different products and reading reviews—45% compared at least two products, and 32% read product reviews.

Pipedrive is a CRM platform that focuses on sales pipeline tracking. It includes features such as pipeline management and email reminders, sales reporting, and mobile alerts. Pipedrive supports integration with multiple third-party tools, including Google applications (Drive, Contacts, and Calendar), Slack, Trello, and Asana. Pipedrive allows users to create catalogs of their products and link individual products to specific deals or clients. It also offers an API, allowing users to create custom features and integrations. The majority (65%) of Pipedrive users on TrustRadius are from small businesses. Reviewers comment that Pipedrive has a clean and intuitive UI without being simplistic or lacking in features.

HubSpot CRM is a free CRM tool that helps users track and contact leads and clients. It includes a pipeline overview with segmentation capabilities and automatic contact tracking. HubSpot CRM also includes live chat, bot management features, and a centralized email inbox for team-wide communications management. HubSpot CRM integrates with common email applications like Gmail and Outlook as well as HubSpot’s other sales and marketing software. A majority (58%) of HubSpot users on TrustRadius are from small businesses. Reviewers comment that HubSpot CRM is easy to navigate, includes fine-grained contact filters, and is particularly well-suited for small and growing companies.

Salesforce is a web-based CRM platform. It includes sales tracking, lead scoring, and data sharing with sales partners. Salesforce also offers sales forecasting, reporting capabilities, and real-time collaboration tools. Salesforce offers an API for automating Salesforce systems and integrating with third-party applications. It also includes a no-code platform for creating Salesforce apps and a hub for sharing user-created applications. A large portion (47%) of Salesforce users on TrustRadius are from mid-size companies. Reviewers highlight Salesforce’s customizability, broad feature scope, and depth of contact detail.

Insightly is an online CRM tool that helps users visualize relationships between contacts. It includes a linking feature that allows sales teams to connect records and contacts, building a web of relationships within the system. Insightly also offers sales workflow automation, communications tracking, project management, and no-code app development features. Insightly integrates with many productivity and sales applications and includes an API for further customization. A large majority (70%) of Insightly users on TrustRadius are from small businesses. Reviewers highlight Insightly’s combination of sales management and project management features as well as its low price point and workflow automation capabilities.

Zoho CRM is a web-based CRM that aims to help businesses track leads, prospects, and business opportunities. It includes alerting features to notify sales teams of potential opportunities, with live chat and telephony capabilities for real-time response. Zoho CRM also offers lead scoring, customizable contact filters, pipeline management, collaboration, and analytics features. It includes artificial intelligence features for answering questions, locating information, suggesting tasks to automate, and analyzing communications and sales trends. Zoho CRM integrates with applications such as Google Drive, MailChimp, ZenDesk, and PandaDoc. The majority (59%) of Zoho CRM users on TrustRadius are from small businesses. Reviewers value Zoho CRM’s integration with business websites, which allow them to see and reach out to visitors as they navigate the site.

Infusionsoft is a CRM and marketing automation platform. It includes contact data organization capabilities, contact tagging, lead scoring, lead list segmentation tools, and analytics features. Infusionsoft highlights its automation features, which can capture leads through landing pages and web forms and automatically email high-scoring leads. Infusionsoft integrates with applications like Shopify, QuickBooks, Gmail, and ZenDesk. The majority (73%) of Infusionsoft users on Trustradius are from small businesses. Reviewers highlight Infusionsoft’s contact segmentation capabilities, responsive customer support, extensive integration options, and robust automation features.

Top Rated Criteria
Products included in the 2019 Top Rated CRM Software list must have been in the top tier of their category TrustMap as of January 15th, 2019. To qualify for the CRM Software Top Rated Award, products must have at least 10 reviews written within the past year, a TRScore of at least 7.5 out of 10, and must receive at least 1.5% of the traffic in their category. Every reviewer is verified and every review is vetted before publication. Products are plotted on the TrustMap based on end-user data, including users’ likelihood to recommend scores as well as buyer research patterns.
