BeyondTrust offers deployment options that can fit a company’s business needs. The vendor says their on-premises physical and virtual appliances have helped enterprises satisfy regulatory requirements for years. Additionally, the vendor says the unique segmentation capabilities of their cloud deployment gives users cloud without compromise.

With BeyondTrust, users can support all of their systems over the web, even if they are behind firewalls they don't control. Other products were from well over a decade ago. Long out of my memory. I can unequivocally say that BeyondTrust Remote Support is the best that have used as it excels in every category I have for support.

BeyondTrust has better support, account managers, an interface, better documentation for using their solution, and more support for rolling out their solution to endpoints (whether Mac or Windows). They also demonstrate a desire to resolve issues quickly rather than consuming 3-5 business days trying to correct a specific issue.

It was over a decade ago, and I do not recall what this replaced. At this time, I cannot imagine anything better.

I also use Chrome Remote Desktop to connect to unattended digital signage, but that requires installing an agent on each target machine. Windows Remote Desktop works in some cases, but you cannot connect to a user's active desktop. Bomgar is the perfect support tool as it allows you to see exactly what your user is seeing without pre-installing an agent. You can chat with the user while you help them and the chat will pop up on top of their other windows if it is below other windows. You are able to see all of the user's monitors either one at a time or all of them at once. It's a great tool!
