ScreenConnect's speed of connection is the overriding factor for [our] choice of software. Also, the ability to easily see which machines are online at any one time is a great help, along with being able to see connectivity history and run commands, without having to start a support session, is extremely important. None of the other applications listed above measure up.

CW Control is much less expensive than LogMeIn Rescue and has an easier to use web-based interface. I like that I can easily control session without requiring a desktop download.

GTA was very lightweight and fast, but seems to have more issues connecting to Mac.

ConnectWise Control has clean and good UI/UX. It gives you easy and fast access to other's desktop or laptop. Sharing files and chat accordingly. Many features of ConnectWise stands out from other remote connection softwares. Affordable. It is best suited for any IT support company, on a small scale. Large bandwidth.

ConnectWise Control has more control options that both of the listed products but the only issue is TeamViewer and Splashtop make the initial connection process muck easier.

With TeamViewer and LogMeIn, performance was always an issue. Even though we could get the job done with these tools, there was always grumblings on my team for a better and more efficient solution. ConnectWise Control helped our team connect with our end users with far less hassle and gave us tools to better serve them, all at a reduced cost.

I'd rather not specify the tool we were using before, as I don't want to be overtly disparaging. In terms of comparing the two tools however, ScreenConnect is easier for both agents and clients to use; has a stronger feature set; is considerably more customisable, and is still more cost effective.

The main reason we looked at ScreenConnect was the value, as a lot of the many other remote support tools were very costly for the same package. Or they didn't supply branding options. The other defining factor we had was that some other remote support tool had been used for malicious attacks, which meant a lot of customers had lost faith in those programs.

I like ConnectWise Control much better than TeamViewer. Partially because the agent that's on the client's machines doesn't bug them. I like that it can black out the remote screen so if I'm working in a server, people on site don't panic when they see the mouse moving.

We like that adding machines was painless and easy compared to LogMeIn. I have also used this product for years at previous locations and the software has continued to improve and not go backwards like I've seen with other software through their revision and change logs.

Bomgar is a good product but we are actually not evaluating them as a replacement for ScreenConnect. I would say this tool can do more on a privilege level. That would be my future [assesment] of this tool.

ScreenConnect is simple to use, but alerts and updates are done separately. Atera is another screenshare that provides users with backup, alerts, and updates. ScreenConnect or Connectwise is easy to use. Once everything else is taken care of; ScreenConnect becomes a wonderful program to use in IT.
