Review of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
This was the only Office 365 backup product we looked at. We currently use the on-prem Backup and Restore product and have been happy with it, so we went with the Office 365 product Veeam provides.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 beats Commvault Complete Data Protection in my eyes. Commvault's user interface isn't as intuitive as I'd like when running it head-to-head with Veeam's Backup for Microsoft 356 offering. Commvault's pricing is also a bit higher for our specific needs. From testing both solutions, support is on the same level, however.

I love how I safely backup all my organization data, Office 365 documents from Microsoft Exchange online, SharePoint Online, it seems to work well with on-premises, cloud and hybrid deployments. I also like how easy to connect to 0365 and start running the backup effectively. The UI is great and user friendly. Phenomenal Support Team.

Veeam Backup for MS 365 provides the features you need.
Since we were already familiar with Veeam this certainly played a factor into our decision. The demo of the product however sealed the deal. After researching the other products, it was clear to us that Veeam would provide the features we needed. We are a non-profit and Veeam also offered a non-profit discount.

Great Product (once it gets setup correctly)!
I've used both products in-house for several years. Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 initially won on price point and I'm getting happier by the week with the user experience.

Veeam's scalability and dependability stand out when compared to competing products. In addition, there are choices for local storage. The addition of these functions has increased the frequency with which we utilize this program in comparison to other software, such as Metallic Database Backup.

One of the best tools to use alongside Microsoft 365
Veeam is stable and offers some level of scalability in comparison to other products on the market. In addition to that, it offers backup solutions on the premises. Because of these capabilities, we find ourselves reaching for this program above others, such as the Metallic Database Backup software and other softwares.

A better option for backing up Microsoft 365
The product is very simple to install and navigate. Veeam enables us to quickly and easily get restores of our Microsoft cloud data, easily export mail to PST, re-import into 365 and manage the data. We have used it for a longer time and it has no glitches so far, well build quality.
Veeam is the greatest solution for its primary function and includes a large number of capabilities for backing up data. In addition, one of the useful features is the capability to retrieve a certain e-mail. Although Veeam lacks significant scalability, it is trustworthy. An on-premises backup is also an option. Because of these characteristics, we've been using this solution more frequently than others, such as Metallic Database Backup software.

Comparing to other product, Veeam has some scalability and it is reliable. It also has options to on premises backup. These features made us to use this product more than other product like Metallic Database Backup software and other softwares.

Easy to use and setup
Carbonite. We use Veeam for our VM backup and offload to Azure and it works well. Our familiarity with Veeam and easy-to-use interface was the reason we went with Veeam.

The go to option for backing up Office 365
Acronis Cyber Backup is nice but not so extensive as Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365. I did test it after we deployed Veeam's product but didn't like it so much. It lacks the all-in enterprise features that can be seen right from the first start on Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365, sorry I didn't like it.

Better to be safe than sorry.
During the search and implementation phase, our organization also looked into Carbonite Backup for Office 365. I was not impressed with the sales pitch and the whole solution seemed clunky. The price tag was also higher than Veeam's offer. Both products offered a similar solution but Veeam seemed like the better fit.

Usability was everything. All have their place, Backup Exec, Net Backup, Veritas, etc., but if you are 100% cloud, nothing beats Veeam.

Veeam Backup for 365 is simply an IT admin's lifesaver!!!
We chose Veeam over Active Sync because we could trust that Veeam was going to run every day and email a report if it failed or succeeded. Active Backup notoriously did not run for some reason or another and we would have to check on it to even see that it did not run.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 is a clear leader and winner in this category. It checks all the boxes and wins in every category. It is priced competitively so this is our first choice for any new clients. As explained previously, we had a bad experience with other providers and that’s why we had to choose Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 over them.

The other products we reviewed were lacking in various respects. Because we already were using Veeam Backup & Replication it was a natural choice. Hindsight shows it was a good decision.
