The tool is well suited for most things you would need an SEO team to do, including keyword research, monitoring changes, assessing issues, getting content ideas, and monitoring competition. If you want to produce polished, deck-style reports for contacts outside of your organization it is less appropriate for the lack of control in report styling and white labeling.

Good for large businesses who have a lot of content/product that need to be managed with a growing or fluctuating set of keywords. The tool does well in creating custom keyword buckets where you can compare yourself to your competitors to find out if you are gaining or losing ground on a particular topic or product.

For businesses that also want to grow their keyword list, Conductor can help the user discover and poach keywords that other businesses may be targeting either through a domain keyword analysis or a PPC ad report.

Conductor is very well suited to a large, enterprise marketing team. We have several content marketers and product marketing managers working on various projects at any given time, and the ability for each of them to use Conductor on their own for research and tracking has helped us scale our SEO efforts effectively.

Conductor is fantastic at reporting. The reports are easy to build from any data within the platform, and can be emailed to anyone on any schedule. I used to spend hours every week in Excel collecting and cleaning data. Now I spend that time on analysis and finding great opportunities.

Anyone with a decent sized growing business needs Conductor on their roster in order to succeed. In this day and age you will not be successful without an online presence. Even more so, you will not be successful without the data, analytics, and knowledge Conductor provides. Without this information your efforts will be misguided and your money poorly spent.

It's well-suited if you want to track specific keywords or create some segments to see how powerful your website is ranking. It's one of the best tools I have ever used for this. But if you want to analyse Google crawl volume, it's not possible and it's better to use Botify. It's the same thing with internal linking, anchor etc. But it's not a big deal because it's a ranking tool first.

Anything content related Conductor can help. An underrated part of it' platform is its content mapping functionality. You can easily build audiences and then map that specific session to content you created specifically for them. This then helps you discover content gaps as well as show the most successful part of your content marketing strategy.

Conductor is very useful for ongoing reporting and SEO optimization work. It is less suited for conducting a full SEO audit. I know it can do some of that with deep crawl but we aren't using that functionality. Also, while it can tell you about content performance it can't identify what improvements would help make the content rank better.

Conductor is great for teams who really like to know exactly what's going on in one, easy location. If your focus is on content marketing, this is a great tool to make sure you're on target and hitting goals. It could be cost prohibitive for a lot of teams, but if you can measure your return from content growth, you can likely justify it.

Conductor is great for companies aimed at increasing organic search traffic. Social has become more and more relevant, but search is still arguably the most powerful. And Conductor helps companies frame their strategy right by thinking about content marketing and serving the user, rather than just SEO and call-to-actions.

Conductor is definitely enterprise-level. Smaller businesses don't seem to have the resources to take full advantage of the platform. Enterprises who are active can't live without Conductor, at least from our experience. Conductor seems best for e-commerce brands more so than multi-location brands, but I know they are working on it. I'd like to be able to show our clients where they rank on mobile for geo-modified search terms across multiple location (average position 3-Pack, average position in Organic), that functionality is not yet available.

Some scenarios where Conductor is useful is when we add new content pages to the website or make modifications to existing content and we can track the effect of these changes over time. We can monitor how the keywords are performing and also see how much traffic the page generates. In other cases, we need to improve how our pages are performing and it is nice that Conductor provides a recommendation page. Some scenarios that Conductor is less useful for is when our keywords are compared to pages such as Wikpedia and other informational pages. Those pages are not very useful for comparing our keywords' rankings.

Conductor is well suited for nearly any type of business analytics, except for social media. I do feel that if someone in the social media department was looking for deep insights, they might be less likely to find answers. However, this platform can be used to understand not only marketing metrics, but the landscape of how users are searching for your product in nearly any department of your company. For example, hiring managers could use Conductor to optimize their online job advertising by seeing how users are searching for those types of jobs in the landscape.
