The overall experience with TriNet has been excellent. From boarding to the daily questions/concerns: Our onboarding was extremely efficient. We had a very small window to switch vendors and TriNet was able to accommodate everything within the period we had. TriNet team is always available to help our company with questions or issues related to Payroll, Health Benefits, Retirement Benefits (401k), etc. TriNet also has a dedicated channel for our employees that can have their questions/issues solved via chat, phone, or email.

There is a chat feature which pops up immediately at the bottom right-hand side of the screen. Utilizing this feature will connect you directly with a TriNet employee. When I used their chat feature I asked them various questions about benefits as well as more general questions about using their site. They were quick to respond and helpful to my situation.

Support is generally very responsive, though certainly not perfect. The majority of our company, as well as myself, are in California and it is hard to get a representative who is in the Pacific Time zone, much less one who has good experience with California labor laws. The legal representatives are excellent and very responsive.

We had a lot of difficulties with our first account manager, but once the regional manager got involved we were assigned an entirely new team. The new team has many years of experience and does an excellent job at LISTENING to the concerns and frustrations. They are not able to solve every problem but it is very close! More importantly, the response time and feedback have been worth their weight in gold! It feels like TriNet is truly our part and not just another vendor we have to pay monthly.

TriNet has helped us streamline our own HR processes. From the employment application process to hiring and to separation, TriNet has guided us on what information is needed and forms to use. Their website has also been great backup for having all personnel files stored as electronic files instead of paper files.

Customer Service has improved especially for the financial services industry. The high-touch customer service model will ease the burden of dealing with various HR issues - from the simplest to the most complex. This allows the team to focus on growing and scaling our business.

TriNet has helped us with our HR processes by having all of the Onboarding paperwork online so that new employees can log on themselves and complete their I9, benefits, direct deposit, taxes information. We use to be old school with actual paperwork and it's really cut down on the time it takes to physically write everything out and all of the information is stored in the platform which is great.

TriNet offers a very robust platform and it's appealing that each employee has access to their own TriNet platform. TriNet has reps that are very knowledgeable with state-specific dept. of labor standards/requirements. The reps I have dealt with, for the most part, over the course of the last year have been very service-oriented and responsive.

This changed in October 2020. Before, the service model was a disaster, and while improvements were made, they were not fast enough and they didn't end up changing our sentiments towards TriNet.

I am tired discussing this issue. When I had a benefits change - the change was accepted on the online system. Then when I ran my AUG Payroll - the change did show up on the Preview Register report BUT when I actually submitted the payroll, the Actual Payroll report was incorrect and had added back in the benefit cost that had been removed. My subsequent attempts to reach my POC and then my experience with Connect 360 was not helpful. The day of my SEP payroll processing I had 30 minutes to stop the payroll from processing and the young woman helping me put in a request to stop the payroll from occurring BUT it was somehow overridden and processed. It was a small fiasco that has since been corrected and charges will be credited back, but it was an unpleasant event that gave me the impression that Benefits and Payroll departments are not truly connected.

Appallingly bad. After unsupported rate increases the first two calls to determine the nature of the fee received a response of "I don't know, we are now charging more for some companies" or similar. The follow-on response was simply "We decided in January to raise our fees to $750 per month." It took sleuthing, without help from TriNet, to figure out that they decided to charge all companies as if they had 5 employees and as if TriNet were providing services for 5 employees.

Customer support is non-existent. For example, I recently changed 2 people from hourly to salaried, and it took me (and a consultant that I hired to deal with them) about 8 hours of work, 10 phone calls, and 15+ e-mails to resolve the day of the payroll. Even then, they give the customer 1 hour to review their own payroll; you can't see a final payroll before then.

My support team at TriNet gets a 10 rating. When TriNet changed to their Connect 360 model in December and response times/service levels diminished, my previous support team took my feedback up the ladder and after about 6 weeks we were returned to the relationship model I know that I can trust in my TriNet team to advocate for our company. They are after all an extension of our HR Department.

HR Passport has saved time, both for our employees as well as the HR and Accounting Departments. The system is user friendly, everything HR is at employees' fingertips with single sign on.
