We use ON24 for our tier 1,2 events as well as interviews and webinars. Primarily teams within Marketing organize or help host these events, however Sales and Sales Enablement also use ON24. We love the self-service aspects of ON24 - we no longer have to rely 100% on our graphics and video design teams to create and host these events. We went from having only 1-2 people producing virtual events to having nearly 2 dozen people in our global and field marketing teams organizing and hosting events and webinars. Our sales and marketing people have become quite dependent on detailed data regarding attendee participation in our events.
  • Easy to set up sessions for recording and live events.
  • Simulive sessions work very well for us.
  • Attendees love having very quick access to viewing sessions on demand after the live event has ended.
  • it took a bit of effort to sort out, but we like how well integration works with our Swoogo and Marketo systems.
  • Editing session recordings is tricky - would be nice if there were integrations with open source systems with more friendly, more powerful features.
  • Our producers would like to be able to select when and which webcams are features - vox doesn't always work well. in some sessions we would like to pin a particular webcam for part or all of a session.
  • We usually require registration for viewing and link to external systems like marketo or swoogo for registration - we would like to allow producer to override registration to view audience view for testing and quality control purposes.
  • Our publishing standard for webinars and sessions is 1080p or better. Would be nice to have better resolution than 720p and have more consistent and higher frame rates. Frame rates vary a lot within a session or recording.
  • Our webinar producers like the new webcast elite console. However, our more experienced producers and producers for larger, multisession events would like more flexibility. Elite producer console for a single screen (laptop) is about as good as it gets. However, many of us have multiple screens - we would like to pick up and drag/expand elite's window/widgets across multiple screens - letting us better monitor more aspects of a session/event.
  • We have to spend a lot of time fixing some presentations for compatibility with ON24. Some edits take only 15 minutes to perform, others have taken us 4-5 hours. (ON24 offers a 14 point check list of non-supported PPT features.)
ON24 is simple and easy to get started with, bringing production of webinars and virtual events into the reach of everyone. March 2020 we suddenly had to pivot one of our major in-person events (140 sessions, 2500 customer attendees) to virtual. In a matter of 6 weeks we were able to record more than 100 sessions and bring together a virtual event for more than double our planned attendees. We did this with a team who were new to producing recordings and webinars.

We use it throughout multiple medical education webinar programs. It helps us with polling and integration using their API to get meaningful data from our learners, as well as making it customizable and keeping it as an enduring program after to improve accessibility and opportunity to market it to more learners.

For some people I wouldn't recommend it if they do not have the time or resources to set it up from beginning to end. It takes a lot of manpower to make a webinar but sometimes it is difficult to justify the price of the add-on packages and other things.

We run 50 or more webinars each month and have ON24 integrated with our marketing automation platform Marketo. It is predominantly used by the marketing department but we have also helped other departments use it since it is typically a better user experience than the platforms they were using previously.

  • Has good reporting to track key metrics for each webinar.
  • Integrates well with other parts of the marketing stack.
  • Not have to provide new login credentials for a recording just because the initial one was postponed

If you are looking to run multiple webinars monthly, daily and even simultaneously then I would recommend ON24. I've never encountered a problem with bandwidth or the program freezing no matter how many webinars we had going on at once. At a previous employer that also used ON24 we started receiving better feedback post webinar from users once we switched because they enjoyed the interface much more than the platform we were using before.

ON24 is the machine behind our homegrown webinars. It is used by the marketing and inside sales team and addresses the challenges that come from a traditional webinar platform. It gives the marketing team the ability to scale and run multiple webinars a month globally. It is the key to our inbound success.

  • Love the seamless process from beginning to the end. It's the easiest platform to use.
  • There are a lot of innovative features that are rolled out through the year.

  • I would like to see an option to present by not dialing in.

It is the best of the best platform that is priced reasonably. There is no marketing team that will not benefit from using ON24. I been a customer at three different companies and still in love with the platform. Like other tools, this one works well if you use it to its max. It's not for companies who do not run regular webinars. If you are running just a webinar per quarter, this is not a tool for you.

We are using ON24 to put on industry-approved webinars surrounding products and insights. We like the interaction ON24 allows with the speaker's ability to hear questions from financial professionals relating to topics on the call or questions they view as the top of mind as we progress through the year. ON24 also allows for us to practice how the webinar will look beforehand and provides instructions on how to dial in, and is quite easy to use and distribute.

ON24 is great for putting on industry-approved webinars. The webinar link provided by ON24 allows for widespread distribution through email marketing and social media marketing - meaning it is relatively easy to distribute the webinar link to large groups of people in a short amount of time. ON24 also allows for presentation decks to be uploaded beforehand and for speakers and facilitators to join beforehand and ensure the call will run smoothly and according to plan.

ON24 is a must-have for your virtual webinars and workshops. The platform is customizable to your business needs, with options to input surveys and polls to help with engagement. My favorite feature of ON24 is their reporting system! They break down every detail that I'm looking for and provide the ability to download all of the data as excel sheets. Their customer service is also phenomenal, with a live support agent always available within minutes.

Using this platform efficiently allows us to reach a large concurrent audience, both live and on-demand, and this pushes and drives measurable growth to our and our client's businesses. The system provided by ON24 is a world apart from anything that we have used before, not only in terms of user experience but also reliability, both very important in an ever-growing digital world. With the capability to edit HTML / CSS on registration/lobby pages, as well as the email system, there is full customization support for branding and content - these features are simple yet very effective.

  • Clients ask for virtual webcam backgrounds a lot, which is coming, but we're not entirely sure when. More clarity is needed here and there.
If you are looking to present a webinar/virtual event/multi-media experience to a large-scale audience, ON24 is the best platform to do this. You can create and customize a registration page exactly to your liking, which with their extensive reporting this will allow you to keep track of who is signing up, unlike other popular software/platforms around today. You can deliver exceptional seminars virtually, with a variety of ways for speakers' to connect and present. ON24 is often compared to Zoom by clients, and there are scenarios where a "telephone/chat room" tool like Zoom would do the job rather than a fully-fledged virtual seminar replicator.

We use ON24 for our 1:many webinars for client onboarding. It is a platform that can be customized based on the widgets you add - we like this as it allows us to have a Call of Action button, breakout room option, audience chat, Q&A widget, recourses widget, and much more. We also appreciate how the live webinars can be converted into on-demand videos for future webinars. At the moment, two teams within our org use it; we are evaluating further due to buffering and lag issues being faced by both presenters and audience members. Also, we have gotten feedback that the console can be confusing to the audience members due to multiple widgets and also the unfamiliarity of the platform compared to other conference tools, which are more widely used.

Good for 1:many webinars. In my experience, it's not good for those who want to have a more personal interaction as we cannot see the faces of the audience or talk to them. Hard to engage or gauge their interest levels due to this shortfall. The platform can also be confusing for many as there are widgets floating around that need to be fixed or minimized. There are lagging and buffering issues with the aV for both presenters and audience members, depending on the region you are in.

Yes, it has been used by my team and me to deliver onboarding sessions for customers who are new to our software and would like to explore and use our company software. The aim over here is to ensure that customers onboard our software and understand the functionality which is available for their utilization.

My company uses ON24 for almost all of our customer webinars. While our marketing department makes up the primary users, our webinar presenters are from all departments throughout the company. ON24 provides an easy-to-use platform with a great customer experience. My favorite feature is that webinars are automatically available on-demand following a webinar with the original audience link.

  • When a video is played in a webinar, there is no way to skip ahead a few seconds or pause during the video. If someone advances a slide during the middle of the video, you have to start from the very beginning again.
ON24 is a great webinar tool. It is well suited for companies that want to offer more than just a screen share during a webinar. There are many interactive features in the console. It is also great for companies that want to offer their webinar recordings on-demand. It is not ideal if you only want to share a small portion of your screen or if you want the audience to be able to unmute to talk for a Q&A.

The platform is used across the organization to conduct client meetings and presentations. During the pandemic, when international travel was not an option, the platform was very helpful in communicating with our end-users. It helps us connect with our clients hassle-free and makes the entire process very smooth and easy to understand for new users as well.

ON24 has been used as a primary webinar solution within the organization for a number of years. It has allowed us to share priority content with users with supporting documents and materials. It has allowed us to integrate with our internal SSO facility so we can track the engagement and interactions of users across our organization.

  • More flexible CSS capabilities to mirror more strict brand guidelines (there has been a recent improvement on this).
  • Integrated support for 'external' Engagement Hubs as an alternative to some products offered by the organization.
ON24 is well suited for handling large audiences virtually and making events available on demand. Their on-demand reporting is excellent and allows for ongoing flexible reporting to monitor engagement over time and for varied interactions with the content. The engagement score created and managed within the platform for users is very smart. There can be creative ways in which this data can then be extracted to help build out a clearer view of how users can interact and be engaged across additional channels within an organization.

We work especially with health experts creating content programs on-demand and live sessions. We usually use their engagement tools such as polls and surveys to compile a database with these metrics on doctors. At the same time, we collect this data for our future events.

ON24 is our current webinar solution for the entire organization. The platform has great options and allows each presenter to decide how they would like present their webinar (simu-live or live). The platform was easy to use and employees seemed to pick up very quickly.

I use it for presentations, and it seems to work fine. The interface is easy to use, and the visuals are excellent. The sound is good overall. I find it very interesting. It needs a bigger screen, so it really is effective on a phone, but it is good on an iPad or PC.

Our Continuing Legal Education (CLE) team uses it to host live seminars and for our on-demand programming. It has been instrumental in helping us provide remote learning for our members, especially since the onset of COVID-19 last year.

Our Marketing department uses ON24 to run all of our webinars. We execute on average 10-12 webinars per quarter, and ON24 allows us to do this relatively easily. With our previous platform, multiple teams had to be involved to edit the recording and get it pushed live, whereas now I am able to handle the recording and event set up on my own.
  • Easily able to create a template and update for each specific webinar
  • Outside presenters find the platform easy to use
  • Significant time savings because the recording is captured all in the system, with no timing of slides/audio needed on the backend
  • One feature that I wish existed is the ability to edit the Powerpoint slides once they've been uploaded into the system. As of now, if you notice an error you have to export in a brand new slide, which can be time-consuming if you notice it right before a recording.
  • For attendees, the viewing experience really only works the best in Chrome. So there will be a lot of attendees that have to switch browsers after they've started viewing.
ON24 is well suited for organizations that have small teams that produce the webinars, and need to produce more than 2 per month. ON24 also has great CPE (Continuing Education Credit) features, so that an attendee that qualified for CPE receives their certificate immediately after the webinar ends. The sync they have with Salesforce is also nice so that our sellers can see the webinar activity their lead/contact has had.

It is used across the whole organization. I can only speak for my specific department, but ON24's big selling point for us is the Simu-live feature. With Webex, we faced issues with having to have additional support on top of the people presenting. Now, we can pre-record to sound live and that same person can support the Q&A during the event. We have also been using Target for the past year and that has really helped us to be able to own a landing page and make changes easily. Due to the size of our company, it would often take months to get documents or links updated. Now we can host a Target page in our intranet and be able to update content easily without links changing.
  • Simu-live is a great feature. To be able to pre-record but still have a live feel is something unique that ON24 offers.
  • Auto-archive: having our content become available On-Demand immediately is another fantastic feature.
  • Target and Engagement Hub: on top of having a webinar platform, you can also create landing pages. This allows you to present multiple pieces of content at one time.
  • Reporting: Some things are really great, but we have hit several issues with reporting. It's difficult to pull details on multiple events at once.
  • For our people that have reports-only logins, there is not a way for them to filter by name or event id. They have to know the date of creation to be able to pull the event they need. We have a high volume of events (most that are on-demand), and we find it incredibly difficult to pull event-level reports.
As a department, we use ON24 for our content that we want available on-demand. We also use it for multi-plan events that we can create a simu-live experience for. We do still use Webex for single-plan live events as it is easier to do live because the participants can speak to the presenter directly if they have questions.

We are using ON24 to host international conferences. It has replaced face-face conferences that were canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic with great success. The conferences are cross-company in the pharmaceutical industry, and ON24 provides a simple platform to allow presentations and networking to take place in the absence of a face-face conference.

[It is a] very user-friendly platform with a lot of functionalities and a collaborative approach. I have been using it for webinars and find it very practical. You can select different views and options, and the Q&A session was also really handy. You can also interact directly with a specific person via the chat.

ON24 is really appropriate to organize a webinar with several speakers and a broad audience. It is a very collaborative platform [and a] very good UX. You directly understand where and how to do certain tasks and how to collaborate. The reporting capabilities are really handy and enable us to understand better what could be improved.

ON24 is used by our team to host industry webinars on emerging issues in our market. It provides the channel to reach a large number of customers and prospects with engaging content from thought leaders. ON24 is not only regarded as one of the market leaders in webinar platforms, but they offer a fair number of additional widgets - including a content pod - that meet our requirements for a webinar platform.
  • Brand recognition - Leading speakers know the platform and are glad we use it.
  • Customizable with widgets that let us highlight relevant products to the webinar.
  • Registration platform that allows us to customize and create registration forms on the fly.
  • The interface and technology seem to be behind the curve for 2021. UI is a bit clunky and not as lightweight as it could be.
  • Pricing is at the top of the market and isn't always as flexible as it could be. Add-ons like event support and CRM integration are prohibitively expensive.
  • Reporting isn't super organized. Results must be manually downloaded, and there isn't a great way to get them into CRM.
Large customer or large audience. If stability or name brand recognition is important to put stakeholders at ease, most people know about ON24 and are comfortable using it. It's less appropriate for smaller and more nimble programs. There are better SAAS offerings on the market that would be a better fit for smaller events/programs.

We are currently utilizing ON24 for our customer-facing thought leadership webinars and product demonstrations. It allows us to bring a level of professionalism to our webinars that Zoom cannot. We have our ON24 system integrated with SFDC, which has solved many issues. It makes it much easier to score attendees, registrants, etc., and allows for internal stakeholders to self-serve what they need to see.
