Great tool for building compelling shareable content!
- Purpose built, easy to use templates
- Compelling display of content
- Knowledge base and training is fantastic
- Customization can be difficult if you do not have a coding or design background
- Quick start templates are not easily modified - you have to want that exact layout...if you make changes things start to get messed up.

Take the time to learn how to use the software properly and you will see great outcomes!
- SUPPORT! Ion's support is phenomenal!
- The training modules in Ion U are very informative without being overwhelming.
- Ion provides the possibility for level of reporting which is very granular.
- The concepts (tagging, containers) are a bit confusing and not necessarily intuitive. Training and support make using the tool much easier!
- The reporting modules could use a bit of tweaking. I would love to see most common path to conversion.

Robust Content Creator
- ion makes it very easy to make content on their experiences dynamic. Giving you the ability to build one asset that can work for many different leads types.
- Once you have a few experiences under your belt, building pages is super quick and easy. This allows us to get pages up and running quickly and make changes to them with little to no fuss when needed.
- The platform is integrated in Marketo and the integration is very easy to set up!
- The ion team does a great job at supporting customers. They are always helpful when I have questions and very quick to respond.
- I think there is still some functionality missing. A big example of this is that there is not a universal undo button. Occasionally when removing pieces of an experience you will see the option to undo but not always.
- ion does have a training portal but it currently consists of watching videos and then being directed over to your portal to try what you have just learned. I think the training would be much more efficient if you could practice and watch the trainings in the same interface.

Changing how we speak to customers!
- Their on boarding experience has been excellent. I have had to onboard other solutions in the past and I think this has been the easiest.
- I like how their are videos, training and live support available to assist you.
- The only con I see so far is that I wish their was an undo button. As a new user, their are several times when I need to undo what I just did. This is the only thing I have identified and I am able to work around it.

ION Interactive Review
- The capabilities to change and adapt creative quickly; to do this on your own or with an ION team member is a great advantage.
- The ION platform allows you to be nimble and efficient.
- The data is always there accessible 24 hours a day to pull on your own so there is no waiting; you can get what you need immediately. Additionally, they have online resources to help you learn the platform and always chat functionality if just need a quick question answered.
- When working with ION team members greater insights and strategy for the bigger picture of the campaigns running overall.
- While I love the independence this tool allows having a few dedicated technical resources to your account, if extremely complicated, would be wonderful as each help desk person may not know the intricacies and complexities of the account.
- For me the ability to pull data in summary for multiple campaigns is missing. Example I have 1 large campaign that is broken into numerous segments while I need to look at each individual segment I would love to be able to easily pull all segments together into a summary report.

- The pages load very fluidly while taking the quiz.
- The UI can be updated a little. The graphs look a little dated.

- Ease of use - the platform is easy to understand, doesn't require a developer to create effective pages.
- We have had considerable success with customized autoresponders to engage visitors.
- Cost for special projects were prohibitive on a couple of occasions.
- There are multiple features that we don't use. Ongoing training or webinars might help.
- The option to archive campaigns within a client portfolio could be useful.

Fast and Intuitive Content Creation
- ION's templates have provided us with great jumping off points for our content. We can easily look at the examples and see how our existing content, both digital and print, can be created or enhanced through the presentation offered by ION.
- ION's customer support has been stellar. The support team has helped us learn the system faster and create pieces that would have been difficult if not for their assistance and prompt responses.
- During the on-boarding process ION's staff created a custom theme and color pallet incorporating our branding that we can easily apply to any of the templates already in the system again reducing the time required for us to begin utilizing the tool and creating valuable content.
- Some of the functionality we would like to see in ION's system is only available in a rudimentary form or requires more indepth and customized coding efforts. Specifically the ability to perform complex equations and calculations which incorporate many data points behind the scenes while keeping the visitor facing interface as simple as possible.
- It would be nice to have the training and online support materials available as online articles with step-by-step instructions and visual examples in addition to video tutorials which can be difficult to watch while actively working on a project.
- Providing quick reference sheets for the built in micro-themes would be quite valuable.

ion will save your life
- ion interactive is easy to use for someone that is not a web developer. Changes are quick and easy to implement which is imperative in my organization as it's constantly changing.
- Our account rep and customer support team at ion interactive are incredible. Highly knowledgeable and very responsive. Additionally, they offer many online resources to help train and solve issues.
- ion interactive is flexible and has the ability to adapt to many of our business needs. If there isn't a solution out of the box, the team creates one at an affordable cost.
- There are some features that are not available, such as adjusting to different monitor sizes when you are not using the lookbook feature.
- It would be helpful for me if our account reps would meet with me on a quarterly basis to review our account and provide any recommendations on how to improve our account (from organizing the dashboard to how to simplify the quantity of landing pages we have).
- An ion interactive app that would allow me to access and monitor our account through my phone would be amazing.

Amazing landing page platform - ION Interactive
- Creating webpages quickly using prebuilt templates or you can build your own page from scratch. It has a drag and drop builder that allows us to use a GUI interface instead of hand coding everything. Extensive logic built in to allow completely customizable pages such as an interactive whitepaper.
- A/B testing is awesome! We can quickly set up a/b tests to test any aspect of our landing pages. You can control the percentage of traffic and can even tell it when to shut off the test or it can optimize the winning traffic source for you automatically.
- Customer support is outstanding. Anytime I have a question, it is answered quickly and expertly. I always get the help I need when I need it. They also have a ton of other resources available for use such as a help suite and videos.
- One room for improvement within the platform is their ability to handle spam traffic. I would like to see ION blacklist bad traffic before it hits our pages. We have to go through every week and remove spam content. ION does have built in tools to help remove spam content but it would be nice to not see the spam even reach our pages.
- Pricing model is a bit confusing as they measure by traffic and data storage. As we are a high traffic site, our pages quickly meet our quota so we have to purge data to stay in our limits. It would be nice to have unlimited storage so we could analyze our data over time.
- Ion has a very enthusiastic and helpful support staff. This is helpful because there is nothing worse than losing time on a project because you had to wait for tech support to answer a question.
- Ion has a vast library of videos and textual guides for using it's many content creation platforms. Again, learning the software is made easy if you want to go at your own pace with the library of guides.
- Ion offers a robust array of options for creating content. This includes e-books, infographics, animated infographics and quizzes.
- There is always room to improve the learning curve of the product. There could be more video tutorials and detailed guides.
- Some of the interfacing is a little confusing at times. It's a little difficult to go from an Adobe program like Indesign to Ion.
- I'd prefer it if we could keep the content that we produce after we cancel the subscription.
- Has design resources available
- Can host landing pages on your behalf
- Account management can be a little slow at times.
- Design resources execute upon request well, but does not push our thinking.

Incredibly helpful and user friendly tool.
- Easy to use interface. The drag & drop especially helps non-technical users to build a page instantly.
- Customer service is always well informed, and has always been able to resolve my concerns or provide the needed answers in a very timely manner.
- Exports can include more data like age, gender etc., of the visitors.

- Fantastic support staff when facing difficulties learning how to use ion for the first time.
- Very intuitive and relatively easy system to use for beginners through to more experienced users.
- Very easy to embed onto company website. And great help from the beginning in keeping within brand.

Ion Interactive Review
- Variety of templates to choose from.
- Great coding features - to pull in promo codes and other variable data throughout the entire page without having to re-enter over and over.
- Picture adaption and layout creation.
- Copying pages - there seem to be glitches within the system that won't allow you to copy sometimes.
- Saving - I like that the page automatically saves as you are working on it, but, I would also like to hit a button that says 'save' to be sure the most recent updates have been saved.

Make ION Your Best Friend
- ION's interface is very intuitive. Non-technical users can use it with ease to build webpages.
- The ION platform is great for both A/B and multivariate testing, as it has the ability to split traffic from one url between multiple creatives.
- The ION platform has a number of built-in widgets for almost any need.
- Newer users are often daunted by the fact that a change to a page goes live as soon as it is made. If there were a "save" function, that would improve the product.
- Platform navigation could be a little more intuitive.
- Setting up a traffic source can be confusing to newer users.

- Creates a fun interactive environment that adds value to people's experience with your brand.

- Lots of options. Plenty of room for the creative marketer to find creative uses for the program.
- Plenty of support.
- The availability of templates is both a blessing to getting up and running quickly and a curse as it could stifle out-of-the-box thinking.
- Training staff tends to go through features a mile a minute leaving new users in the dust.
- Far more complex of a system than was advertised in the sale.

- The design platform is very easy to use.
- The ion team is very responsive and provides helpful resources.
- The web hosting feature is a little clunky when using it for the first time. If you use another service like "GoDaddy" for domain names, it takes a little time and coordination to host your creative on the domain. After that, it is error-free.

Great tool for the right audience.
- Pretty intuitive with drag and drop functionality. After some basic training, just about any user can start laying out pages.
- Also has the ability for further customization, for users who have front end development experience.
- Does a great job of integrating with third party APIs, which is essential to our process.
- The basic training can be rough for users who are starting from scratch, and it can take a little while to get a hang of it - but not necessarily any more than I would expect from similar tools that allow so much customization.
- The layouts are intuitive and easy for users who don't know HTML. We have used other landing page platforms that are supposed to be 'drag and drop' but actually require significantly more technical knowledge.
- Features that you can take for granted because they are well-done: the ability to turn URLs off on a schedule, A/B testing, geo-IP versioning.
- Finding creative assets when you only know the URL and there is no naming structure is a massive, massive challenge. I spent hours one day going through the entire portfolio hierarchy until I found the page I needed to edit.
- It's not always easy to understand what data you are deleting when you run out of space.
