Different consumers are using different review sites, so it's important to use to have a decent amount of content on as many as we can. In addition to TrustRadius, we send customers to G2 and GetApp to leave reviews. We added TrustRadius to this mix because we wanted to increase our number of reviews and arm our sales team with more social proof to help accelerate the sales cycle. To be seen if it's helped funnel velocity, but we've been very happy with the quality of the reviews - we just wish fewer were anonymous, but we're working on different ways to help that!

We have software listed on G2 Crowd as well, but what really stands out with TrustRadius is the content and the size of each review published. With all the standard and custom questions users get more creative and open to express their opinion. TrustRadius also provides a tracking pixel to gather the audience, who is looking for the software in the category we are featured in.

  • From an online tool perspective the tools seem equal.
  • Relationship Customer Success goes to TrustRadius

G2Crowd: TrustRadius was our first pick and because we have reviews established with TR, it is harder to justify switching or investing much effort in building up a store of reviews on another platform.

We've looked at G2 and Capterra, who have similar offerings. I see merit in all of them as I feel like they speak to a slightly different buyer and user persona. TrustRadius offers more thorough reviews and feels like it speaks more to the buyer than the user.

Like any smart marketing org, we believe in diversifying our tech. We also use G2. There are similarities between the two in terms of ease of use and our ability to source content and speakers. G2's given us a bit more insight and response from our SMB audience while TrustRadius has been stellar on the enterprise side.

We have profiles on G2 Crowd, Capterra and Software Advice. All three are used for different purposes, and I think they all have their advantages and disadvantages. Capterra, Software Advice and G2 Crowd have more available sub-categories for construction software, and this is a main area where TrustRadius is not as powerful for our business.

We use G2 Crowd, Capterra, and Peer Insights. By far TrustRadius has the most user-friendly vendor portal but lacks in regards to not being able to allow customer to leave reviews in their native language which truly limits our customer base.

With our current agreement, we are listed only as an partner for the Review Management Program. We would ideally like to start this year with TrustQuotes Marketing Platform and TrustProfile. We are currently also on other 3rd party review sites like G2 Crowd, Capterra and GetApp.

As a software vendor, it seems like there are multiple places where we need to submit customer reviews such as G2 Crowd or Peer Insights. We selected TrustRadius because of the number of reviews and that it's a trusted non-biased platform. They have an amazing customer success team that helps their customers get the most out of the tool.

G2Crowd: this is very good company and by many considered to be the number 1 review site. If you have the budget, it is important to work with both G2Crowd and TrustRadius. Both companies are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
Capterra: we ultimately decided against Capterra because their reach is significantly smaller than TrustRadius and G2Crowd.

We currently partner with G2 Marketing Services and Capterra in addition to TrustRadius. All of the vendors offer similar ways to achieve awareness goals but vastly differ in ability to track demand generation, lead generation, etc., performances.

TrustRadius offers an integration with another product tool which makes it easier to drive reviews.

We do use various vendors in the customer review space simultaneously. We needed to augment our Voice of Customer program and TrustRadius provided services that were different from other vendors. We really leverage the TrustQuotes, Reference Candidate and intent data capabilities. We felt these were the differentiators.

We have and continue to use G2. The G2 dashboard is much cleaner and easier to use. The ability to quickly update profile settings, descriptions, etc., make the platform much simpler, and efficient.

We selected TrustRadius due to their growing presence in the B2B review space. We felt like TrustRadius would make a great partner to help us achieve our immediate needs.

One other thing that G2 does, that I would like to see from TrustRadius is a proactive approach by the CS team as it related to build initiatives. Almost all of the direction/initiatives are driven by our internal team, but with such a small team we rarely have time to brainstorm what's next for TrustRadius. If we were approached with innovative ideas or project plans from the TrustRadius team, it would make a huge impact.
