BrightPearl has been very useful for helping us with implementing and integrating it within our legacy system tracking and reporting. The customer service is awesome, they respond very quickly with any question/comment we may have. Brightpearl has ready to use integration plugins with most of the popular 3rd party services and providers.

I wasn't central to the implementation, but was integral to the data component. There is a pretty steep learning curve to the software, and it takes a while until it becomes second nature. Once it does, it becomes invaluable.

We were given an implementation specialist who was there for the whole process, and that was necessary. Getting our products properly uploaded took a lot of background work, but not very much effort once it was formatted and consolidated properly.

I can't speak for the initial set up of banking, warehouses, channels, or software connections, but maintaining and adding to them is very easy.

We moved from MYOB to Brightpearl and used both systems side-by-side for the last month of the accounting year, firstly to get used to the system and secondly to hit the ground running when the new accounting year began. In actual fact, I'm not sure we needed to as it was extremely intuitive to use.

It's taken around a year to reach the stage we're at now, which has been a long and hard slog. Partially because not everyone here took part in training when they should have but also because there's a lot of information to take onboard.

I would strongly recommend that users make a thorough review of the basic and advanced instructional videos prior to implementing Brightpearl.

I was not involved in the setup, but experienced a great deal of confusion in handling in progress orders that were transferred from our old system into Brightpearl.

I was not involved in the implementation of Brighpearl as it was already in use when I started at the company. From speaking with colleagues who were involved it was very smooth to implement and did not take a lot of time or man power for our end to do so. We have changed the way we use it due to time sheets no longer being available and again this has been a smooth transition.

We switched from Quickbooks to Brightpearl with ease. The Brightpearl team properly trained us on their software and converted our products and data within a week. The software is very intuitive and is easily picked up with some practice. It was much easier to learn how to use Brightpearl vs. Quickbooks.

We had a few training sessions to get to grasps with brightpearl before it was initially launched and it is just like riding a bike, the more you use it the easier and more you know what to do with the software. We have recently had to train some new staff members and people who aren't the best with PCs, and they have found it easy to use.

You physically need a representative at the customer's office for support despite the process not being difficult. That goes for the type of support/training, sometimes its better if more practical support was done rather than just video conference.

Training is very thorough and you will receive documentation, recordings of the training sessions as well as videos to access on Brightpearl's Youtube channel. You also receive testing that Brightpearl provides which ensures that you are up to speed with the processes and are ready to use their system.

We used a recommended third party implementation partner and in hindsight, this was a mistake. We should have used Brightpearl themselves as it is a very broad system and needs many considerations before you begin setup. We also should have thought a little more about how we handled stock, SKU naming conventions and accounting.

Initial staff training was very disappointing, and it wasnt until a intense 2 day training was forced that we understood how to use the platform.
The integration with our Magento platform was incredibly challenging, and took over a week after our site went live to be completed.
I would have liked more support from BP during the set up phase and implementation
