Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

The videos you have established allow a very very basic understanding of how to do things in Procore. Then the aspect of showing how our company standards and reiterate come into play. I have noticed that most individuals under the age of 30 catch on a lot faster. So by watching the older employees struggle, it shows that it is not as easy as reading a book and getting it. You have to play with Procore before you really get it.

Change is hard for everyone. We have had Procore for almost a year and have barely scratched the surface of its functions and capabilities. Perhaps the implementation team should touch base with clients at a 6-month and 1-year mark to see how far the company has gotten in implementing the tools that they had hoped?

Although the training video's help to give an initial understanding, the certification is easy to blow through and guess the correct answer without any cognitive load. Thus when consultant's, factories and GC start to use it for the first time, they have frequent question and require us to help them learn the platform and integrate in their work.

I am a hands-on learner and Procore has a lot of modules after the first orientation which can be cumbersome. I have also had push back from subs who are unfamiliar and this which adds to my workload of trying to implement them into Procore. Again, not sure of a solution.

We were on a home-grown system, so there was no easy conversion. We needed to move things over manually. In addition, Procore would not integrate with our prior accounting system (Sage 100). Converting both Project Management AND accounting, separate from each other, is a big task!!! Doing both at the same time was far more than twice the work because we needed to understand and implement the integration between the two along with everything else.

It was a VERY long process to get started with the software. It took us more than a month of video conferences and training before we could begin using it. We would have much rather gotten started when we made the first payment.

In several instances, the Procore reps helping us with the integrations had out of date information. Often times it was easier just to use trial and error on the end user side. The documentation online is also hit or miss - some of it is very good while some are VERY out of date (like the old gray interface out of date).

Procore provided us with an implementation contact person, who was available any time we had a question or an issue that needed resolution. She was very patient and helpful and taught us so much. She provided us with a "test" project that we could use for practice (and which we couldn't mess up!). We also made great use of all Procore's tutorials (and continue to do so with new employees coming on board), which give a great overview of the software and make new users feel more comfortable.

The software does require an initial time investment to learn, but it pays back in time savings almost immediately. Integrating it into our company was relatively painless and really only required 2-3 months to ramp it all the way up.

We use QuickBooks to integrate Procore with our accounting software and then from QB we integrate with a number of other apps. The basic information integrates and flows well between QB and Procore. There are a few additional features I would want to see but overall it works well.

I give Procore a rating of 9 because I truly believe it to be one of the best cloud-based, project management software on the market. As with any software, there are a few things I would change, but overall the functionality works great on a day to day basis and has shown to increase our companies productivity substantially, resulting in a good ROI.

There's not going to be much integration if the program isn't user-friendly. Before you buy Procore, do your homework. There are so many websites telling you what I'm telling you and giving alternates to a lot of other user-friendly programs.
