Miro has been widely employed for various purposes, including brainstorming and facilitating team discussions. Its use extends to enhancing presentations with visual cues instead of traditional slides. The platform aids in efficient sprint planning and project management while aligning teams effectively. Users have harnessed its GenAI features for creating diagrams, compiling meeting notes, and conducting design tasks such as mapping user flows and journeys. Miro also serves as a crucial tool for customer research activities, from initial planning and note-taking to the final synthesis. Moreover, it caters to virtual collaboration needs by supporting design reviews, workshops with external customers, and fostering knowledge sharing within design teams.

Template Variety: Users have expressed appreciation for Miro's diverse range of template layouts tailored to different project needs, enhancing creativity and organization. The platform's extensive template options cater to various preferences and requirements, offering a wide selection to suit diverse project scopes and styles.

Real-time Collaboration: Reviewers have highlighted the platform's real-time engagement and updates as beneficial for fostering teamwork across different time zones, facilitating efficient collaboration and communication among team members. This feature ensures that all stakeholders stay updated with the latest developments promptly.

Effective Tools: Many users find the AI delete background tools effective for sketch uploads, significantly improving the overall user experience by simplifying tasks like image editing. The tool streamlines workflows and enhances productivity when working on visual content within the platform.

Performance Issues: Reviewers have frequently reported significant performance problems with large boards taking a long time to load, negatively impacting the user experience. This issue hampers productivity and frustrates users trying to work efficiently.

Limited Drawing Capabilities: Users find the drawing capabilities, especially for shapes, to be restrictive and have requested more variety in shapes and the ability to save brand colors. The current limitations hinder creativity and design flexibility on the platform.

Difficulty in Board Organization: Some users express confusion when organizing boards by department, struggling with determining the correct placement for new boards. This lack of clarity disrupts workflow efficiency and makes it challenging to maintain an organized workspace.

The implementation of Miro across the organization was simple because it is hosted in a cloud provider and the team did not have to deal with infrastructure issues. Most of the effort was spent in assigning "admin" accounts that would manage the creation of teams and projects. All new members create their accounts and are vetted by the "admins" to decide what team(s) and project(s) they should be added.

I do not have any key insights regarding the implementation of Miro. It sort of just happened for me. I did not have any formal training or any guide as to how I should use it. It was just a new fancy tool that I learned myself and taught myself different ways to implement in my day to day.

I found the most success when emphasizing how much easier it is to find files on a visual Miro board than in an array of nestled files. The most important thing to use Miro successfully is to have a dedicated point-person in charge of maintaining and updating the board regularly

Miro has a simple and straightforward implementation process. It supports mobile application which makes it extremely easy to access from anywhere anytime. Also it seamlessly integrates with other existing softwares such as Google Calendar, Gmail etc.

It would have been better if my company had given us training on how and why to use Miro and if they had given out more licenses. Them not doing this wasted a lot of my time, trying to train others and troubleshoot their login access to my boards.

I highly suggest a soft roll that allows a few users to become recognized experts and then at the time of official rollout have training in place along with well established templates that will aid new users.
Also depending size of company, school or organization, allow for the first 10 minutes of every meeting Miro-cize until everyone is comfortable with Miro.

I was the reason the university and the studio environment still uses this software. Will continue to use it until a better alternative becomes available. Mass content displayed in the same space is an issue but can be mediated if portions of the board can be blocked off at specific times.

Smooth implementation for all team members. Once you understand the basics, Miro is a no-brainer tool and loved by everyone. We recently upgraded to 3 seats to allow access for the whole team.

Miro use in our organisation has grown organically. We are a construction organisation and technology adoption generally occurs only when people see the value it provides. This is generally achieved by participating in an online workshop.

I discovered Miro when it was still Real Time Board and it was easy for me to use. I am a devout technology hater, so when I discovered that I could use it easily, I knew that our tutors and students would be able to as well. I only wish that Miro would announce in advance when features would be changed for free users.
