We are also resellers and use our own example to showcase the benefits of SharpSpring to other potential clients. We are a small company of less than 10, but what we can do with SharpSpring allows us to be very efficient and is worth 1 extra person in the organisation to us. SharpSpring allows us to bring all our marketing and sales activity into 1 platform. Seeing the first interaction through to final sale and even, the recommendation in 1 path. This can then be dissected and analysed to see where true value and efficiencies lie within the process.

We are using SharpSpring to build landing pages for all of the services our company offers that funnel our website visitors into contacts, then converting those contacts into sales. This is addressing the problem of previously having lots of web traffic bouncing without contacting us for more information. We are starting with one of our locations, and plan to add all of our locations as soon as we have each landing page built for each of our specific services.

The services our company provides are very specific, and people don't search for our services until they need them, so when we get a potential customer to our website, we need to be able to answer any questions they may have about their specific problem. If the website doesn't give them the answers they were looking for, they might choose to replace glass and we miss the opportunity to repair glass. By using SharpSpring landing pages with triggers, and calls to action, we are able to convert more website visitors into contacts, thus turning them into additional sales.

  • CRM functionality is very simple to use and keep salespeople focused and on task.
  • Marketing automation is very intuitive and allows for multiple levels of automation. Engaging with clients and prospects is what we need SharpSpring to do for us and it does so elegantly.
  • Greater depth of knowledge from support staff on the integration of other plugins and syncing tools would be helpful.
  • I'd like to see a single login for all instances we're using/working in. We have an agency we're helping with implementation and that requires a separate login for us. Small detail but would be helpful.
SharpSpring is very well suited for CRM purposes and for Marketing Automation workflows. Triggers allow for automated messaging to all industry types and for prospects and customers at every stage of the customer journey. If you're looking for a single platform that allows posting, engagement, advertising, and reporting on all social platforms, SharpSpring could use improvement in that area.

Ownership of this platform lives primarily in the digital department to serve client needs, but it does span across to social media, creative, performance and our account team when it comes to analytics and marcom. Regardless of the industry, we use this tool with the goal of generating and nurturing leads, while limiting level of effort and time of business resources.

I'm not spending as much time connecting tools and I'm spending way more time defining and executing strategies. I'm creating a robust customer engagement strategy that is inclusive of sales and marketing. I'm solving the problem of identifying content that the consumer truly wants and needs to convert.

  • Personalization: SharpSpring allows me to personalize the experience for each persona across the entire experience—website content, emails, sales funnel, social media and more
  • Generating leads: SharpSpring provides such great tracking and data to help me generate leads. It helps identify visitors to my site and then collect leads once the traffic has hit my website.
  • Proving ROI: I can see great, holistic data on how my approach is doing with customers. Everything from website behavior, open rates, where people stand in the sales process, and lead activity.
  • Mobile app: I'd love to see more focus on the SharpSpring mobile app.
  • More content: They have great templates, but I feel like there is never enough (landing pages, emails, etc.).
  • Billing: It can be a bit confusing, especially if you have clients on the tool.

I've worked with HubSpot, Adobe, Marketo, Pardot, and a myriad of other digital marketing tools. I've used tools that cost 1-2 million a year, spent months on integrations. I've honestly never found a tool that is so capable, so easy to implement and does not require 6 figures of budget to fund it as I have in SharpSpring. I think SharpSpring is a no-brainer tool for any small to medium-sized organization. It may even cut it for larger organizations. While I'm very impressed, I see the company continuing to strive towards an even higher level of greatness.

Don't spend your time on integrations and getting tools to communicate. Spend your time on strategy, testing, and building out a ridiculously successful sales and marketing approach.

If you've ever wondered how the big guys are keeping in touch with their clients, it's by using a tool like SharpSpring. Whoever designed this thing must have been frustrated with other tools out there. We use Sharpspring to send large batches of emails, to automate our responses, as a scheduler, for landing pages, and for managing clients who are first learning about us. The email sending platform is our primary value from SharpSpring. It tracks things for us like opens, clicks, and even tracks who clicks through to our website from the email messages. They score that in the lead scoring, which is a standard feature for this kind of product, but for us, it's been super helpful.

Favorite features of SharpSpring?
  • Is that they answer the phone. I can get tech support on the line basically any time I need it.
  • Is that I almost never need to call support, because the product isn't difficult to use.
  • I Love how it keeps track of an email score for me--how likely are my messages to be delivered?
  • As an agency, I love how I can set this up for my clients and manage them all through a single dashboard.

We are using SharpSpring at Blacktree Marketing as our marketing automation platform. We are also using it for our clients as well. SharpSpring solved our issue of not having marketing automation in place. On the client-side, we are now able to remarket to leads that did not close during the first buying cycle and reclaim that lost revenue. This is on top of increasing our close rate on new clients as well.

With SharpSpring, my team and I are able to stay on top of our prospects, analyze which pages they're visiting on our website, measure their engagement levels from the content we send out to them. Additionally, we also have marketing analytics at our disposal to review which traffic sources are generating the most traffic. The ability SharpSpring gives you to create, manage, and measure your campaigns is beyond useful.

The social media publishing aspect could be a little more robust with real-time analytics. Sometimes the content you're trying to post does not exactly translate the way you want it to on the actual social media platform. Also, the trackable links don't always display an accurate representation of the number of clicks on media attached to your posts. The links to the trackable links should also be a lot shorter to motivate users to click on these links.

SharpSpring is the cornerstone to my business. I use it in sales, marketing, agency function, and as an added value to market. It has become a profit center in more ways than one. SharpSpring is being used across multiple departments and is the hinge-point between sales, marketing, customer connection, prospecting and accountability.

We were using a combination of multiple platforms before so coming to SharpSpring has helped simplify our workflow. Lead tracking and automated workflows have helped us immensely. The dynamic content for email campaigns allows us to use 1 campaign for multiple sections of our contact and lead lists.

The cost of the SharpSpring CRM platform is affordable for small to medium-sized businesses but still has all the functionality of the ridiculously expensive platforms. We are using SharpSpring throughout the organization. It is a friendly platform that allows us to manage all the opportunities that enter our funnel based on customer acquisition, increase the level of monitoring and the rate of closing of each sale. The characteristics of SharpSpring accelerate the sale with the use of micro-marketing tools by each seller. This allows me to recommend companies that sell solutions to use this powerful resource. In fact, I can consider it as a necessary and indispensable tool for the sales team.

I consider SharpSpring to be the best platform to manage sales opportunities, due to its unlimited power when creating different campaigns at the same time. It allows to me to visualize in real time the movement that each leader has within their website, it also facilitates the call to action so that a seller can attend to the request before the competition acts.

We use SharpSpring as an agency and resell it to clients who need marketing automation, CRM, social media management, etc. It has allowed us to offer more services as an agency and the ability to keep all if not most tools in one place. One of the main problems we kept running into was that businesses couldn't afford automation through companies like HubSpot. SharpSpring solved that problem at a better price point with more offerings.
  • The social media content calendar makes planning and execution so much easier and less time-consuming.
  • Being able to easily curate content specifically for specific personas has been a game-changer.
  • I love visual workflows. Being able to see everything laid out in one place is super convenient and enables you to really wrap your head around what you're trying to build.
  • UI/UX: the interface can be a little clunky at times and not very intuitive.
  • Random hiccups sometimes when we try and add accounts we get locked out or the person we're adding gets locked out.
I think any agency that's looking for a tool to resell could benefit from SharpSpring—mainly because of the price point and because it's all in one. I've noticed that clients get tired of having to pay more every time we want to try something new or step up their marketing. This allows them to have a better idea of what their expenses are going to be. I also think that small businesses that need marketing tools that won't break the bank can benefit.

This is an awesome cost effective CRM and marketing automation tool for an agency. Built specifically for an agency model and resale. Good for our clients who are using HubSpot but don't have the budget to use all the features or are not using it at it's potential. SharpSpring is a fiesty and powerful option. We've had a great experience with the team and are still learning new ways to set up and leverage all its capabilities (e.g. perfect audience targeting).

Transparency of our efforts all from a single source. We are now able to analyze all of our various marketing efforts without the need to learn reporting from various systems. The SharpSpring platform helped us see which marketing efforts are working. We have quit wasting money on efforts that weren't working as well as we had originally thought and moved the budget to those that are providing the best ROI. We have pinpointed bottlenecks in our company and implemented actions that resolved these issues which has increased our bottom-line as well as our own customer satisfaction.
  • Features - all the features and reporting that we need to bring our marketing efforts to a single platform.
  • Customer Support - from onboarding to virtual training to weekly webinars by experts to the customer support team that responds quickly and accurately -> all have scored an A+ on my scorecard.
  • Price - an entry investment that made it very doable for my company to jump in the marketing automation to compete with companies much larger than ours.
  • It's been working well for us, so it's kinda hard to come up with a dislike, but if I had to pick something it would be the fact that the weekly webinars "SharpSpring at Work" just went from weekly to bi-weekly. The upside is that they are planning at making them more in-depth.
SharpSpring offered us a way to implement marketing automation at a price that our business could afford. The features are more than enough for us to compete with companies that are much larger than we are. So the pricing got us to commit, but since then their customer service has proved to be nothing short of spectacular. The onboarding was laid out for us step-by-step. We have a specialist that we talk to frequently that keeps us on task. When we did hit a snag, support stepped in to resolve it quickly and accurately. The video training shows click by click what to do and how to do it. An added value is a webinar series on implementation and use. The platform is modeled in a way that replicates our business model, so our employees found it logical and easy to implement their pieces of the big picture.

I own an ad agency. I use it as the primary lead generation, nurturing, and selling software, really, marketing automation and sales. We also use the live chat feature on our own site, which has worked really well. I also help my clients use all the same features, too. We're just starting to use the "Perfect Audience" feature that lets you retarget visitors with advertising (and soon will let you advertise on virtually any site). Since it has both marketing and sales pipelines, we can use if for virtually all sales and marketing activities.
  • LiveChat and also chat bots--an amazing feature that's really just a free add-on.
  • Lead tracking, scoring, and automated programs--can't be easier to use.
  • CRM--integrates really well with the marketing automation.
  • Tech support--really sharp, nice, patient team.
  • No complaints. They keep adding more features I didn't realize I couldn't live without.
I've used it with really small businesses where I thought marketing automation might be overkill, but it worked great and brought in a fantastic ROI, especially given the low price (the lowest I found that has a solid feature set). I helped a restaurant double their sales during the shutdown and raise money for the local medical professionals fighting the Coronavirus.

  • First and foremost, I have never received the level of support to any of the questions that I have had when working within the platform that I have from SharpSpring. They are extremely responsive and their follow up is incredible.
  • Their updates on service advancements has been top notch. They appreciate feedback and want to know how they can improve in all areas by reaching out to us for recommendations.
  • The ease of use within their platform makes my job so much easier. Love working with everyone at SharpSpring. The fact that I can talk to a live support within, on average, less than one minute, helps my job tremendously.
  • So use to drop and drag functions in other software can be slightly problematic when working within SharpSpring. Would love to see this as an option in future when creating landing pages, emails, etc...
  • When wishing to go back during creation of emails, landing pages, etc... would love the option of an arrow back, similar to PowerPoint, Excel, etc...
  • We have several clients that have joined onto SharpSpring under us. I would love for them to be able to have the option of directly reaching out to support with their issues and eliminate me as the middleman.
If anyone is seeking a platform that can be commanded and benefit their company quickly, I would highly recommend taking the time to research and add this to their services to assist in the success of their company. We use the SharpSpring platform for my clients marketing communications and also for my own small business for bulk email distribution. We have several newsletters that are sent out using SharpSpring. We have set up automated processes to manage the mailing lists, the email editor is easy to use even if you don't know html code. The reports after a campaign has been sent are comprehensive and useful.

  • Workflows and action groups are a bit difficult to understand.
It is not a tool for spam or for only sending emails once in a while - because their engagement scores are monitored and makes it harder to send to email lists when the these scores are low. SharpSpring is great for when you need to to distribute bulk emails. If you want to personalize the emails, have multiple campaigns and lists to manage. If you are a small to medium company like mine this is a valuable tool for online marketing.
