Reviews
(126-150 of 425)- Audience Console Customization
- Streaming capabilities
- Analytics
- The current Presentation Manager UI looks outdated
- There are limitations to the number of presenters
- The available audience console designs are not responsive
- The platform updates for ease of use and session formats are slow to be incorporated
- The session settings are not always clearly defined and cannot be changed within 2 hours of a live time
- Some edits are unavailable to users so adjustments require reaching out to tech support each time
- The video archiving feature for sessions does not work well
- The screenshare function requires an additional browser extension and device permissions, and has not worked well for us in a live setting
- After a simulive presentation, the only option for the presenters to do a live Q&A segment is via conference phone bridge--no video.
- Streamed video resolution and bitrate are very low
Good, but it can improve
We use for the marketing department and hotline.
- Have more than one presenter.
- Make polls for live lives.
- Leave documents for download.
- Does not let you have more than one presenter in the OnDemand version.
- Has no option to divide participants into groups.
- Not an easy tool for beginners to use.
Pandemic peace of mind and beyond ...
- Audience experience.
- Widgets/customization.
- Reporting.
- One consistent point person. We have had several CSMs and AMs.
- Web cam/speaker issues.
- Breakouts (now available but have yet to try).
- China capabilities.
- Additional language support.
Where we don't find this tool useful is for our internal sales enablement sessions where we want to allow back and forth communication. The breakout rooms is a step in the right direction for this need and we look forward to trying it.
The cost is worth it for certain clients
- GDPR compliant registration form.
- Registration forms accommodate dynamic and custom questions.
- Attendee view is professional looking.
- Attendee questions cannot be edited or rearranged on the backend.
- The backend conference line isn't available until live day, so you have to use a different line to hold a training call.
- No background blur option for webcam events.
Average webinar platform
- Reliable platform.
- Ability to ask question.
- It's an antiquated system.
- I don't have the ability to run analytics across multiple webinar events. It's frustrating to have to look at webinar events one at a time.
- The ON24 internal page takes a long time to load.
Marketer's review
- Chat support.
- Nice user interface.
- User engagement.
- Less clarity of new feature roll outs.
- Analytics section could be improved.
- Engagement needs to be more flexible.
A must-have for the new normal
- Reporting is great and easy to understand.
- Love the new elite platform.
- Setup is great.
- On-demand archiving afterwards can take awhile.
- We've had issues with polls not launching correctly.
- I'd like to be able to have more than 10 people join on the presenter/producer end.
ON24 Review
- Full service webinar facility.
- Ability to brand webinar templates is good.
- Robust platform.
- Too complex. Other webinar providers have a much simpler interface.
- Not exactly intuitive to use. Fine if you are a 'pro' user, but too much head-scratching involved if you are not.
- Daylight saving time (GMT vs BST) is a pain in the rear and caused one of our webinars not to run. Just format the time as the local time on the day of the webinar - much simpler
Time consuming and not intuitive to use for those of us dipping in and out of it.
Online events aren’t onerous with ON24
- Reports post-event.
- Different webinar formats.
- Comprehensive online knowledge library.
- Quick and easy live chat support.
- Missing data in the downloaded Excel reports
- Not enabling video when the simu-live webinar is finished
- Not being able to edit the presentation notes without uploading the entire deck again
- The audience tools allow customization that can suit each individual webinar's goals.
- The data supported by the registration page are a value add for potential registrants.
- The reporting is infinitely valuable in tracking leads and engagement, particularly across the bulk of webinars we do.
- Our guest participants often have connection or usage issues. We have implemented a dry run policy to account for this, but sometimes it requires our IT team to support it.
- The PowerPoint upload process is slow, can be confusing (why can the last file never be deleted?), and sometimes alters the design of the deck.
- While we like that presenters are saved so their information and photo can be reused, there is no way to access that universal information to update it.
- Resources: Offers additional reading for our event attendees.
- Engagement Hub: Provides a "one stop shop" for all of our content.
- How to documentation: once you know where to find it/what it's all called, there's an answer for just about every question I've had readily available.
- Pricing structures/transparency: I have no idea what's an add on/what comes with our previously purchased service until I hit a pay wall. I wish there was an easy way to see what is included and what's an add on in an upfront manner.
- Uploading a recording to an event: We like to clean up event recordings after they happen on ON24; I hate that I can't take that recording and then upload it to the ON24 event. It means there's no longevity for the event platform/audience view.
- Audience on video/audio: We'd like to have the features of the breakout rooms as an option within the main event, so audience members could also be seen and ask questions directly. (Note: Breakout room functionality isn't robust enough for us yet, though, so we're not going to be using it yet.)
- Events with a few speakers
- Guides for training/education
- Ehub: Showing multiple seasons of content
Doesn't Work Well:
- Events where we want everyone to be seen/heard.
- Events that include people who are not tech savvy.
- Events where you'd like a cleaner version to be shown after the live recording.
- Great attendee experience.
- Most elegant user experience as a webinar producer/speaker -- integration of slides, polls, videos, screen share -- very seamless compared to other platforms (e.g. Webex, GoToMeeting).
- Data management - very detailed data for marketing/sales follow-up and lead generation.
- Unable to use backgrounds when presenting.
- The captioning/transcript feature is terrible.
- The advanced reporting tool has too many restrictions/limitations.
- The Target engagement hub is way too expensive for the functionality offered.
Not good for smaller, more intimate meetings/events where you want everyone to be visible and be able to speak (more like a Zoom call).
ON24 Review
- Conference hub.
- Templated structure.
- Easy to use widgets.
- Frequent enhancements to platform.
- Automated messaging features.
- No way to easily remove all sessions from an old conference hub.
- Scaling for screen sizes is not responsive, although an update for this is may be in the works.
- Additional features can be very expensive.
ON24: The New Chapter of Virtual Events
- It is completely aesthetically customizable.
- It is very user friendly.
- It has great bandwidth and rarely malfunctions during live events (1 in 100 times).
- It is easy to navigate on the production side.
- It collects fantastic, helpful data.
- I would LOVE a time warning function in Elite Studio to allow me as a producer to politely let my speaker know they only have 10min, 5min, 2min, etc. and they need to wrap it up.
- Building the console out for various screen-sizes is a challenge. I wish there were a way to have everything built on a small, laptop view expand to fit any larger screen the same way instead of remaining the same size but having awkward blank space.
- It's so small, but I begin every tech-run explaining to my speakers how to minimize the slides in Elite Studio and make it more of a 50/50 split screen. It would be great if that was the default setup. The issue is that when I try to teach them to highlight and jump to a slide they are typically on a laptop and their screen is so small that they need to scroll down to see the "move to slide" (not sure that verbiage is correct but you get the gist.) This is hard to explain remotely to them so most of them give up and don't know how to do it.
If you are looking for a platform that is all about seeing and verbally hearing others and less about a presentation, this may not be what you need.
ON24 - your answer to branded webinars!
- The branding/customizing experience is very professional.
- The reporting analytics are excellent.
- The customizable view for audience members.
- Sometimes the PowerPoint presentation uploads with duplicate slides. It is very tedious to go through and cross check which slides are duplicated.
- When you download the recording (single file archive) to an mp4 file with the "entire console view" instead of just slides and video, the mp4 file shows a very cropped and low quality image.
- The ability to customize to your brand.
- ON24 is receptive to customer feedback and adds new features regularly.
- Seamless registration and APIs allow you to integrate ON24 with many systems.
- Add-ons like the Hub and Target allow you to run larger events easily.
- Limited networking capabilities for attendees.
- Not able to have live video Q&A for a previously recorded session.
ON24: A Useful Platform for Webinars
- Offers multiple ways of presenting webinars. Such as; live, on demand and semi live.
- Allows you to upload documents and training material that attendees can download and take away.
- Has an excellent chat service where you can speak to ON24 staff about any issues you may be experiencing.
- Improved use of animations in slide deck transfer uploads.
- Improved use of videos that are embedded into presentation slides.
- The ability to accept video formats other than MP4.
- The webinar experience: As a user being able to move all the widgets as how you like to see them (moving them to another part of the screen, re-sizing).
- The quality: Thinking of how smoothly it runs as a visitor, sound, and video without interruptions.
- Easy set up of webinars, registration page, emails, and the webinar itself.
- Hubspot integration: Really basic fields of data, the detailed information needs to be imported manually. Also, the standard fields need to be mapped, there is no native integration with Hubspot.
- The package they sell: Selling a package with hundreds of fields, however, they are not available. After speaking with a lot of contacts to get it solved, we now have some fields automated.
- Customer service: Could be better to get the setup and Hubspot integration solved. We really needed to push them to help solve issues.
- Personalising events
- Registration page
- Multiple presenters
- Need to have breakout rooms
- Ability for audience to ask questions with audio
- Slides sometimes change as they are uploaded
- Clean end user interface.
- Not an outrageous number of issues for audience to view presentations.
- Setting up a single event is easy (minus the hub look and feel—that's a pain).
- Ease of use for scaled event building (many events of similar type)—not everything copies over when you copy an event, plus, the process of moving events/materials to a hub is also pretty manual. We need to be able to do more things in bulk since we have hundreds of events under a single hub.
- Data reporting is glitchy and is manual when pulling reports for multiple events under the same hub.
- Preparing the orientation of windows on the backend of a presentation is an annoying process and things do not move fluidly or help you center them/align them with other windows, etc.
- Transcripts should not cost $750—that is ridiculous.
- Cvent integration is not meeting our needs.
- Every event, we get complaints of the feed cutting out.
- The presenter portal feels a bit bulky; people seem to get confused pretty easily when we try to acclimate them to it.
When brand and experience matter
- Provides great user console experience flexibility (customization).
- Incredible service and support.
- Stream and service stability is top notch.
- Speaker/panelist interface and log-on process: still too fragmented and kludgy for such a mature product.
- Console building tools need an update and more mature functionality as well—too easy to mess things up because the tools are so manually intense.
- ALLOW US TO RESET EVENTS THAT HAVE PASSED THAT WERE NEVER RUN! Sometimes we mess up and list an incorrect date, then publish the login URLs. If we go "past" the original date specified the event (not yet run) should be reschedulable into the future.
- Redirect functionality: If for whatever reason we need to abandon one event and create a new one, the ability to redirect registrants from the old event to the new one would be key, and it's really an obvious one here.
For smaller events where we want to share demos on an ad hoc basis, we'll still use WebEx.
Very happy customer with ON24 platform
- Reporting.
- Customer service.
- Customization.
long standing ON24 user
- Excellent customer service, our account manager is great.
- Good platform within the industry.
- User friendly in terms of customer experience.
- Video webcast needs to be improved... the video with large speaker icon is not good.
- Also need more customer tailoring (the old WCC allows admin to do more stuff).
- The analytics can be better laid out, currently there are a lot of clicks.
- Fully customisable interface - giving a great user experience.
- The ON24 Support is fantastic, the live chat feature makes troubleshooting an issue a breeze.
- The Advanced Analytics provide deep insight to our audience, allowing us to continually improve.
- There always appears to be a bit of an issue when uploading PowerPoints to webinars. Extra slides added, etc.
- Sometimes the sound cuts in and out, presenters need to refresh - not ideal when running a live session.
Generate leads without ever leaving your home!
- Good platform for webinars.
- Has lead scoring + webinar engagement scoring.
- Has all the widgets needed to run a webinar.
- Webinar support is expensive.
- UX experience when requesting for a paid service needs improvement.
