Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Umm. I'm not sure any other departments use Optimizely Web Experimentation for testing purposes. Maybe in the future we would collaborate on layout designs for new product launches and customer messaging / value selling props, but they would not use Optimizely Web Experimentation at all. Only Marketing would use it.

It has been easy to deploy Optimizely on our site, however, we continuously monitor the load of the Optimizely PJS on our site, and we find that the load of having extensions, custom metrics, custom audiences, targeted tests, tests that have been paused but not archived, all have a negative impact on the site in that it is extra Javascript that might weigh down the load of the page and hurt our page performance. We haven't yet been easily able to manage this with the current Optimizely set up we use – it requires a lot of manual maintenance and attention to ensure it is kept as clean as possible.

I think that Optimizely is a fantastic tool for a company who is serious about testing and looking to grow their understanding of their users and business. It’s great at growing your testing and helping to show the impact of testing. They are constantly working at getting more products and features to make this n all inclusive product to do the most good for your business.

Haven't had much experience beyond the web experimentation platform, but seems to integrate well with other products and has third-party integrations to use various data sources.

I currently use performance edge, which doesn't have nearly the amount of integrations that web has, which is unfortunate. It would be great for optimizely to integrate all features that web has in with performance edge. At the same time, I struggle with scaling experiments and performing bulk actions. In my opinion, I feel like experimentation has had no new updates since I've been using it with the exception of multi-armed bandit. There is much lacking for a UX perspective, and it makes me wonder if Optimizely even uses its own product.

The separation of the projects allows for management between sites, to whichever those goals would be. However, because we have similar site structures and measurement of KPIs, it would be nice to have the ability to share experimentation, audiences, or event tracking across those sites/projects.

It is a helpful option that designers, engineers, and other marketing team members can use individually or as a team. The data collected is organized and you can easily navigate to the different tests being run.

Optimizely Web Experimentation is highly scalable and flexible. The platform is designed to cater to the needs of multiple organisations, including large enterprises with multiple departments and sites. It allows me to run experiments on different websites and applications simultaneously, manage user traffic efficiently, and handle large volumes of data.

We have multiple departments using the tool for the same site. The development team usually helps MKT team adding complex scripts and using the optimizely API tools, like `optimizely.get('utils')`. The MKT team is responsible for creating the variations, metrics, and gather the results.

Optimizely Web Experimentation is widely considered highly scalable, given its ability to support organizations of various sizes, from small businesses to large enterprises, with multiple departments and sites. Its cloud-based platform and user-friendly interface make it easy for businesses to scale their experimentation efforts as needed without requiring significant resources or IT support. Overall, I would rate Optimizely's scalability as a 9 out of 10, given its widespread adoption and proven success in serving large and complex organizations.

It's fairly quick to set up once you've got the snippet across the site and you're running basic button/wording tests or you're changing landing page experiences (for example). Google are flip-flopping on their optimization toolkit plans again, so if you want stability in your optimization program you can't really go wrong with with this tool.

The platform makes it easier for multiple users to access the platform and conduct their own tests and results. It's also easy to manage sites and users. At my organization, 10 different users have licenses to be able to set up tests, run them, and view results/reports for more than 40 sites across our Enterpise. Optimizely Web Experimentation makes it easy to manage tests in one platform across all of our websites.
